After setting herself up at school, Kieru headed off in search of a place to relax, far away from crowds. She found her way to a rather tall cliff, standing at the top looking down for a moment before slowly dropping herself down to her knees.
Kieru removed her weapons off her back, placing them sideways in front of her. She folded her hands carefully in her lap, lowering her head slightly and closed her eyes as she prayed for a good year with no more horrid battles.
She lifted her head after a moment, staring out over the cliff, thinking, listening to and taking in the feel of the slight breeze moving all around her.
After a short while went by, Kieru heard footsteps coming from behind her. She quickly moved her hand forward, pulling out her sword at rapid speed, standing up and around, her sword ready to fight if need be.

"Note to Self: Never ever sneak up on people again." Tyr chuckled to himself as he raised both his arms up defensively with eyes trained on the young woman in front of him.
"If you don't mind setting the blade down, I only meant to say, howdy." He smiled. He knew that neither of them meant harm to the other.

Kieru slowly lowered her blade, stabbing it in the ground just enough that it would fall over. "My apologies." She said somewhat quietly in her seemingly emotionless tone with a small nod. "You are?" She asked this man who had approached her.

"Tyr Ryujin and it's sort of my job to see how people around this area are doing. I apologize if I disturbed you." Tyr bobbed his head, unfazed to the woman's cold voice.

"I see.." Kieru responded, looking directly at him. "I am Kieru Megari" She said in her still seemingly emotionless tone. "And I am doing fine." She added as a slight joke, though her face and voice still remaining neutral.

A tug of a smile formed on the side of Tyr's lips.
"Warrior...?" He asked whether if she was or not.

"I suppose you could say that." Kieru responded to his question in her same emotionless manner.

At that, Tyr smirked, "That's obvious enough..." And without another word, he summoned his staff PaiLung and swung the weapon horizontally towards Kieru but not really intending to hit her. It was merely a test. Tyr was usually kind to newcomers but there were still times that he just wants to challenge totally unknown strangers.
This was one such time.

Kieru jumped back, as she let her sword drop and picked up her staff as well to make it more fair. She moved with incredible speed as she set it ready to block or attack.

Tyr rested his staff on his shoulder as he smiled, "Very nice reflexes." He complimented before he spun PaiLung about his hand. He was a bit disappointed that she didn't use the sword, then again, not a lot of people knew that the dragon staff he wielded cannot be broken be steel. But Tyr also knew how fighting fair was important to some people.
So be it...
Tyr disappeared from where he was standing and instantaneously appeared behind Keiru and lunged his staff to her back.

Kieru stabbed her staff at the ground, blocking Tyr's attack and throwing herself out of the way at the same time. She slid to a stop a ways away, setting the staff in position behind her and ran towards him again.
Kieru brought her staff forward, beginning to spin almost like a twister a couple times, the staff seeming to stretch out further to try landing a hit on him. She stopped the spinning almost as instantly as she had begun, holding it in position behind her again to block any counter attack.

Tyr merely deflected the elongated staff with a simple tap against his. She's strong, this Keiru, Tyr thought and there was no further need to aggravate her when it was obvious. Tyr was an experienced fighter that he could discern whether another person was strong or not just based on the first few attacks.
He smiled sweetly, raising and resting his staff on his shoulder again, "Well done! I don't think you'd have problems against the demons and dragons that live around these parts."

Kieru lifted herself to stand straight again, holding her staff balanced on the ground with her hand around the middle. "I see..." Kieru uttered quietly in her usual tone. She remained standing there, however, ready to continue if this was just a bluff, although she didn't think it was a bluff but she usually has a tendancy to be careful about these things.

Tyr nodded, satisfied with her response. He had met a lot of different kinds of people after years in being near the school's vicinity. Name it, DD had it, from demons to angels, all with different personalities too. Keiru seemed to be the tough silent type of woman and to Tyr's opinion, he had encountered enough of those as to not be intimidated with the like.
Hell, there was once a time his lover was one...
Tyr tossed his staff in the air, where it instantly dissipated in silver flame, and sat on a prone boulder nearby. "Let's have a chat, shall we?" He smiled, "Any particular reason why you're here?"

Seeing Tyr call off his weapon and go sit, Kieru lifted her staff in a rest position and set it near her clock sheath, grabbing up her sword and setting it next to her sat as she sat on the ground near them, crossing her legs and sitting straight, looking back over at Tyr.
"Nothing in particular besides for further knowledge I suppose." Kieru said in her usual tone with her matching emotionless expression. She wasn't about to say anything about her past unless asked about it specifically. Even then, she would still probably be hesitant in going into detail.
