Kieru headed out into the woods, not going too far in, just enough not to be seen by anyone outside the woods. Kieru drew her sword, holding it ready to attack as she moved forward, hitting the trees as if they were enemies, making slits in as many as she could.
After a while, her sword had gotten caught in one of the trees. Kieru immediately released it, pulling out her staff and continuing to attack with that for a while before eventually dropping it, pulling her dagger from the inside of her jacket and stabbing the very next tree where a man's heart would be.
She stood there holding her dagger into the tree, breathing heavily after the long hours of practicing. She slowly dropped herself to the ground, leaning back against the tree as she breathed, attempting to calm herself. She stared up at the clouds through the leaves for a moment before closing her eyes as she still rested, her sword a ways away stuck in a tree, her staff about 10 feet away on the ground and her knife in the tree above her.

((Wow, I noticed you've been posting a lot. ^_^ I'm really pleased about that.))
Through the night, Syani had chose a tree to slept on instead of getting a dorm, since she figured it's good for her to get to know the nature better here than about materialistic desires...
She usually wouldn't wake up until it's noon if she doesn't have any classes to attend, but today's not that day. She was woken up by the sounds of stabs, slashes, cuts and chops. Stretching on top of the branch, the half-vampire peeked down, witnessing someone attacking the trees with all his might...
At first glance, Syani thought that person was a man, considering how deep he stabbed the tree and how powerful he throws the daggers, but after much blinking, she just realized down there was a girl! Younger than she is, probably.
Thinking it would disrupt the training, Syani just stayed quiet, hugging her knees while staring down towards the strong girl below her. After a good few hours, the samurai-like girl finally slows down and collapsed, leaning to a tree while staring up at the clouds.
Seeing this is a good chance, Syani slowly poked her head out of the leaves, directly where Kieru was staring up at, blocking her view to the sky. With a small grin, the half-vampire greeted, "Hi!"[/color]

(excited to be back lol)
Kieru opened her eyes again, looking up at this girl in the trees. Her faced remained mostly blank besides a slight curious tweak to her brows. "Hello." Kieru responded after a moment, deciding instantly that this girl was no threat.
She remained sitting as she was, but kept an eye on the girl, wondering what she would do.

After a blink or two, the golden-eyed girl smiled sweetly, "Stay there, I'll come down!"
Hopping down, Syani landed on the soil roughly. After adjusting her hair that has fallen over her eyes, the half-vampire sat crossed-legged in front of the girl, "So! Who are you gonna assassinate tonight? ^-^"

Kieru's left eyebrow lowered somewhat, unsure of what this girl was thinking. "What...?" She asked in her usual emotionless tone before closing her eyes and lowered her head for a second then looking back to the girl. "I'm not an assassin." She said in her same tone.

"Oh! Really?? ^^; I mean, when I saw you slicing everything to half like that, it's almost like you've got someone to kill tonight... ^^;" and with that, the half-vampire stood up, adjusting her cloak.
"You want me to pick up all your weapons lying around here for you? ^^; I'd do anything to lengthen my schedule submission form. ^__^"

"I can gather my own weapons." Kieru said in her usual tone, forcing herself to standing as she pulled her dagger out of the tree then walked over to pick up her staff, putting her dagger back on the inside of her jacket. She bent down to pick up her staff then headed towards her sword that lay quiet a bit away, still sticking out of a tree.

Although much older than the girl, Syani pouted while placing her hands on her hips, thinking a way to get someone distant to talk to her. Right then, she remembered her passed teacher, who seems to act exactly like Kieru no that she thinks about it...
"Y'know, I can help you train if you want!" she hops her way behind Kieru, who's busy pulling out her sword from the tree.
"I was told that I'm really good in the Black Arts! Maybe I can summon some sort of moving dummy that you can chop! ^^ But don't worry, it'll make itself intact quickly after that!"
Syani stretched her neck and try to see any changes in Kieru's emotionless face...

Kieru didn't think anything of this girl's idea. "No thank you." She said, trying to be somewhat polite even though her tone was still emotionless. "I do not need help in training." She added as she put her staff and sword together back in their sheath.

"Aw, come on, please!" Syani was everywhere around the quiet girl, "I need some sort of project to look up to every week! Building a moving dummy might be useful to increase your stats and my experience..."
"Plus!! You're not gonna hurt any trees that way! ^^" she tried to start a conversation, even by moving on to a rediculous subject...
Seeing no changes, the half-vampire settled down her excited feelings and dropped her shoulders, "Okay, at least tell me your name... That'd do much for my research on my species project..."

Kieru looked over to the girl. "Kieru Megari.... And you?" she asked in return, her face seeming rather emotionless still. Underneath, though, she was wondering about this doll the girl was talking about making.

That reply seems to do good for the half-vampire's spirits, "Kieru Megari... ....Wait, I think I recall you from my species study. You're the one that never lets her comrades down...right?"
After a short pause, Syani finally gave up, "Gah...sorry, I can't remember more. Anyway!! I'm Syani! I'm a half-vampire...trying to learn about humans. ...So, I really need to befriend one."

Kieru looked at the girl a moment before turning her back and slowly beginning to walk away. "You don't want to befriend me." She said in her emotionless, somewhat distant tone as she walked.

"What? Did I say that?" either pretending to be stupid or she IS stupid, Syani followed Kieru from behind, "I mean, I don't drink human blood! If that's what you're thinking!! ^^;"
She always looses on subjects like this. Befriending somebody she just knows for half a minute is one of it.
"I'd like to know more about humans. ...Especially in bonds like friendship. I want to learn how to trust...to believe...and to have faith. ...Like humans can. Please? At least give me one chance..."

"You do not want to get too close to me." Kieru said, continuing to walk. "Bad things might happen." She said, not meaning it as a threat, merely as a sort of omen of her own as she has believed because of her many experiences that anyone she had tried to become friends with had ended up becoming hurt in some way. Some bad thing always found their way to them.
