Knowing they were getting nowhere, Kaekeru remained silent for a moment. "Nevermind then." He said in his polite tone after a minute, still staring out.
A strong breeze picked up for a moment, blowing around his hair and shirt a bit then settling down again. His eyes were almost a more reddish colour as he stared up at the moon. It's getting closer to that time....' He thought, remaining perfectly silent and still.

Suddenly, Gwen flew away from Saiya instead she went to Kaekeru which surprises Saiya. Aside from the present guy now, the only man who Gwen usually went is to a guy she knew in the past. Her old friend...
"Gwen..." she thought as she looked at her fire lizard. "Why?"

Kaekeru looked over at the little creature that went to him. 'These little lizards seem to like me I suppose....' He thought, remembering the other night on the beach, as he placed a hand gently atop the creature to gently stroke its head.

Gwen 'kyuu-ed' as perched her little nose at Kaekeru's hand. The fire lizard then sat at Kaekeru's shoulder and there as if normal stayed.
Saiya shook her head. "Gwen," she firmly yet calmly called to the fire lizard who didn't even moved and looked at her.
"Gwen." she repeated to call her fire lizard who now looked at her and 'kyuu-ed'.
The one thing she was afraid is her only left friend, her fire lizard, leave her... and she don't want it to happen.

Kaekeru wasn't normally one for allowing animals around him, but since the little lizard belonged to the woman behind him, he wasn't about to harm it. He stopped patting it and turned halfway to face Saiya. He lowered his head near the little lizard and whispered to it to go back to its Saiya, lifting his head again after and looking back out to the sky.
