Syani backed away by the sudden close distance between them, blinking at him, "Oh, now you're just being boastful. @_@; I'm not surprised if you ended up having four wives and heck a lot of half-vamp kids like me. ^^;"
Honestly, she didn't want to blow things up anymore since she's afraid if she suddenly found Kaekeru in pieces, that's why she switched into her more 'childish' mode, trying her best not to really fall for him...
...Though, she's trying hard.

Kaekeru still stared at her with that somewhat almost intense gleam. "I only intend to have one wife...." He said in a slightly less polite tone though still in his somewhat polite way. He stood tall again and looked up at the moon, his eyes flashing a slight red for a moment before going back to normal.

Syani instantly droped her childish mode as soon as Kaekeru stated that, grabbing her other hand quickly behind her to warm the sudden cool gust of wind...
"Okay... never say that again. @_@ That's creeping me out...in a more mushy way."

Kaekeru showed that very slight, almost non-existent grin to Syani again, a slight darker almost sinister look in his eyes, almost as if he could see right through her as he looked directly into her eyes.

And yet again another thing explodes, which turns out to be another post lamp quite far away, instantly making the area dark except for the moon shining above... She could feel a chill from the silence between them both.
"Hahaha~!! Yeah! C'mon, I bet you're being like this to all the girls in the domain! ^^ You're so polite to us! That's why I thought there must've been lots of girls falling for you. @_@" she quickly started, very careful not to let her mood die down...or more importantly, not to think of something really bad...[/color]

Kaekeru's eyes flashed red again as he swiftly leaned in close to Syani, lifting up her chin with two of his fingers and stealing a warm gentle kiss from her lips.

Eyes growing wide, Syani can't believe what's happening. Her...first...kiss....
This is the least of what she expected. She could hear something explodes here and there...but those noises faded in her mind. She feels weak... She IS weak. All her life she doesn't believe in love, because she thinks it as 'mushy'...
But now...she can't believe she's feeling this, but she's...strangely happy. In the darkness accompanied by the moonlight, with those constant booming and smoke from the explosions everywhere.....this is possibly the weirdest moment she had ever experienced.
The half-vampire didn't notice how long they kissed, but she quickly pushed him off, eyes still wide. Her hands on her knees, propping herself to stand, though catching her breath...
"Wh.... What did you do THAT for?!"

Still breathing hardly, Syani staggered to stand still, as she had just ram head-first into her worst fear seconds ago. After standing straight, her body could be seen shivering wearily, her shocked expression died down after hearing his reply...
"My what?!" she responds, blinking at him unbelievably.
Kaekeru made her feel so many emotions at the same time; she can't even tell if she's feeling embarrassed, pissed or shocked anymore. But she can detect one emotion jumping in her heart; happiness. Still shivering, the half-vampire tried to swallow the fact that something is happening with her feelings, her emotions, her heart...
'Am.... am I falling in love with him?!'
Asking herself, with her fingers touching her lips, she felt herself weak again. Her shoulders dropped and her eyes lowered to stare at the ground. Her heart beats tremendously fast. She feels so frail and defenseless, so she tried to dive down inside herself, searching on what the hell is jamming with her feelings inside out...
Thinking of it so much made her visions blurred, her muscles don't respond to her commands anymore as her legs suddenly got numb. Shaking, she collapsed to the ground. While falling, her eyes caught Kaekeru's now red ones, and she can finally detect on what's making her so powerless...
"It's...him..."

Kaekeru, doing something he swore he rarely would do, grinned slightly at her thought. His face when back to neutral, though, as her legs seemed to give out on her and she began to fall.
Kaekeru quickly moved forward and picked her up swiftly, holding her cradled in his arms instead of allowed her to fall to the ground. He looked directly down into her eyes, his face seeming gentle with a somewhat passionate and caring look in his eyes.

Finding herself in his arms, Syani can't even seem to lift up a fist and just punch him for touching her so many times tonight, she feels so fragile!
"Wh-Why are you doing this to me...?" she asked weakly, not about to loose consciousness just yet. Looking in his gentle eyes makes her feel that sick weakness again, so she quickly closes her eyes tightly.
'Focus, Syani... Gotta find my strength...gotta find my strength... I'm not gonna loose my heart just yet....!'
And then, the tables turn. Oh, how it turned...
POOF!!!
The girl in Kaekeru's arms disappeared in the blink of an eye. Smoke is now replacing her weight in his arms...
Now on top of the Night Club's roof, Syani had already sat down and hugged her knees, having that far-off look in her eyes, trying to think ahead. FAR ahead...
"One kiss doesn't mean love, Syani. ...It made you off-balance, dammit. ...He doesn't make you feel pathetic and helpless, he made you feel shocked...and embarrassed! Crap, I gotta find my strength back, I can't fall for him just like that! ...My dignity's hanging right there on the line..."
She cupped her face and tries to breathe deeply, "...I'm so weak..."
Then, she slowly released her face, her eyes are back in their usual mischievous glint, and quickly raised her head to look up at the moon above, "...But that doesn't mean I can't fight back!"[/color]

Kaekeru grinned slightly as he lowered his arms then looked up at the moon. He gave almost a slight chuckle as he thought a moment about her before then letting his hands rest in his pockets as he continued to walk on his own, rather satisfied with this night. 'Interesting, indeed.' He thought as he walked back towards the school.
