Roy grabs on to a big stone and lifts himself up to the top of the cliff. It was a big top with enough room to walk around without thinking about falling down all of the sudden. He walks slowly to the edge at the cliffs highest place an was watching over the city. Why did he took the dangerous way up to the top? If somebody would ask him this all of the sudden he wouldn`t know what to say.
"Its been a while since I`ve been with so many people... I think I just needed the silence from my journeys before and thats the reason why I was climbing up this cliff after signing up for my schedule..." he thought. "But hey!" he says while grinning "It was fun!"
He was looking over the city and breathes the air. "I still have some time until I have my first lesson in class" he says to himself "I wonder how it will be....... Actually I was happy that I could leave all these jerks in my past school...... but who knows.. maybe this will be diffrent..."
He sits down on a rock and watches the sky and listens to the melody that the wind plays around him...

A light pink ear twitched along with her nose as a sound and smell carried on the wind towards the cat girl that rested in a tree nearby. "Eh?" She questioned as she opened her eyes, sitting up on the branch, now dangling her feet. "YOO HOO!!" She called to the boy who sat closer to the edge of the cliff, rather nearby.
Kimiko jumped down, fixing her clothes a bit as she walked over and sat right down next to the boy, smiling up to him, her face merely inches away. "Hi!" She said in her hyper sweet voice.

"Huh?" Roy quickly moved his head around towards Kimiko he was quite confused up the quick appearance of the cat like girl. He opened his mouth and tried to say something but no words came out of it. "...ah" Some seconds he was just starring at her cat ears and thought that he would look pretty stupid while doing that. Finally he catched himself again and looked Kimiko right into the eyes. "Hey!" he was smiling. "Who are you? How did you get here so fast I thought I was alone when I reached the top?"

"I was napping in the tree!" Kimiko said, smiling still as she pointed towards the tree nearby.
"My name is Kimiko! What's yours?" She said excitedly, still smiling up at him, incredibly close.

Kimiko was almost touching him with her nose. Roy blushed slightly while he was smelling her breathe. "For Gods sake I am NOT shy!" Roy thought. But thinking this didn`t change anything.
"I... My name is Roy. Nice to meet you!" he smiled back.
"It`s been a while since I`ve met someone who is actual nice and doesn`t want to have any service in return." he thought while watching that Kimiko was still smiling and looking at him with kind eyes.
"Why did you take a nap on a tree?" he askes all of the sudden. And a second after that he could have jumped of the cliff by his own. Couldn`t he think of a question that doesn`t sounds completly stupid?!

"Cause it was comfy..." Kimiko said, sitting back a bit and placing a finger to her lips as she looked over at the tree, then looked back at Roy again. "Nice to meet you, Roy-kun!" She said excitedly as she made somewhat of a pounce forward and hugged him.

"Whoa!" he gasped. Roy so confused that he couldn`t decide to just catch Kimiko who was jumping in his arms or if he should backs away on his small rock. The result was something in between. So it happened that both fell backwards while Kimiko was hugging Roy. Roy hit the ground first "Ouch!" and Kimiko landed on him. Now both were pretty close to the cliffs end which was the reason why Roy held Kimiko very tight so that she wouldn`t just fall above him and down the cliff. "Owww... I`m... sorry. Are you alright ?" he asked and looked into her eyes. This time he wasn`t blushing at all. He just wanted to know if his new friend was okay.

Kimiko giggled somewhat. "Yep!" She said happily, obviously not afraid of heights or close contact. She sat up to let him get up and scooted close to the cliff, letting her legs dangle over as she looked down. "Uwaahh!! So high!" she said in an excited voice, smiling happily.

Roy got back on his feet. Slowly infected by the super happy mood of Kimiko he sat next to her with a big smile. "Yeah! Indeed, thats pretty high!!" he said. "But I`ve already been to higher places which are more scarier. What about you ? Have you ever been to a higher place than this ?"

"I love high places!" Kimiko said excitedly to Roy, smiling over at him. "The air feels nice!" She exclaimed loudly as she lifted her arms out, feeling a breeze come that blew her hair around a slight bit then settled again as Kimiko giggled a bit, moving her arms back in and looking over the edge again, still smiling happily.

Roy was just watching at her smiling and giggling and suddenly forgot all the worries he had earlier about staying in the town.
"But do you know" he started "there are even higher places like this" he smiled and was looking in the sky "I`ve been to one before. the only problem is, that its just so freezy cold up there because everything is covered with snow!! The cold will even make your hair freeze! Thats not very funny actually." but he couldn`t help himself to start laughing. "And when the blizzard went by, you have an incredible view over the land at the horizon." Roy said slowly and formed with his arms the wide plains, he was speaking of, in the air.

"True" Roy said and smiled back. "It is not very healthy to be there too long, otherwise it could get really ugly.." He was looking at the sky for a second and sighed. Then he turned back to Kimiko again. "Well, Kimiko. How did you got to the Diabolic Domain ? "

"Hmm, the same.. I would suppose.." Roy answered with a slow voice. And was about to think about his past again. But there was this all-time-smiling girl right next to him and he just couldn`t move away. He felt something that he could not define. It was a warm feeling that reaches like in every cell of his body. It has been a long time since he felt something like this. Something which just keeps him smiling and smiling. "Well, what are we going to do now ?" he laughed happily a her.
