'Friends....?' Kier thought. That word cut right into her. All her friends were dead. There were no more alive and none were needed nor wanted. Kieru immediately tried to push herself up to her feet, although her body being in it's still overly weakened state as it was immediately made her drop down to her knees, cringing in annoyance at her unusual lack of energy.
Usually, she was able to last for hours in the fight, though unbeknowest to her, the goo that had previously covered her had weakened her muscles and body, making it so now that she had survived, it would take a great deal of training to get her old strength, speed and stamina back again.

"Wait!!" Roy told Kieru and immediatly stepped closer to her as she fell on her knees after she tried to stand up. He placed on arm around he to give her some hold so that she won`t fall on the ground completly "Don`t push yourself. We made it. we have all the time to rest we want now." he said to her with a smile.

Kieru looked with her usual cold blank stare over at Roy, not particularly happy about him touching her like that. "We have to find our way out of this place before some other dangerous creature attacks us." Kieru said in her empty tone, a voice quieter than her normal as she still couldn't talk much louder yet.

"But if you overdo it and collapse in a dangerous situation it would be awful. At the moment we are save and thats what counts! So we have time to rest." Roy explained to her with a worried look on his face while he is still preventing her to stand up.

Mandy wabbled over to Kieru and leaned forward over her legs looking up at her. "Uo..?" The little creature noised as it's large round eyes looked up at her.
"Roy is right..." Billy said a bit quietly, looking over at her. "You should both rest a while before we continue.."

Kieru stared silently down at the little creature for a moment before relaxing herself a bit. "Fine..." She said quietly. "Only for a short bit though..." she added, glancing out to the wide open grassy area. 'I wonder how long it would take to find a door out in that terribly open area...' She thought to herself.

Now that Roy was sure that Kieru would not try to stand up anymore he let go off her "Good that we made that clear now..." was all he could say while he let himself fall backwards on his back. Just now he had noticed how weak he really was. Laying on the ground he closed his eyes and tried to regain his strength. He can`t remember when he was weak like that the last time..

Kieru lay back also, watching the sky. It was odd, she thought, not one cloud in the sky and there was still no sun. Yet, why was it so bright? Kieru closed her eyes, taking a few deep breaths as she rested her body, her mind however, racing still.

Billy just sort of sat there, his bony legs crossed as Mandy crawled onto his lap and slept. Billy pulled his scythe over towards himself, leaving it on the ground right next to him as he watched over the two. He, being a reaper, was unable to sleep. So he decided to be the watch guard for now.

Roy layed on the ground and took deep breathes of the fresh air. Sometimes he turned his head to Kieru and took a look at her.
I can`t understand why she is still that rejective..... Would it be such a mistake to place trust into some people ?...

Kieru lay still for a few minutes, before turning her lip up in disgust at the memories that played continuously in her mind. She lifted her hand, placing her palm on her forehead before quickly sitting up, her legs bent into the air, hand still on her forehead and disgusted look still on her face as she opened her eyes and looked down past her legs to the ground.
Kieru dropped her arm and looked straight forward, a slight glare formed across her eyebrows as she stared straight forward into the open grassy area. Kieru moved her legs underneath her a bit and pushed herself up, wobbly but managing to somehow stand weakly as she still stared out, ignoring any voices that may have come from the two as she began to slowly walk.
Her exhaustion could be easily spotted in how wobbly her walk was, as if she could hardly even keep herself standing, yet alone manage to walk. She took small steps and didn't stop until something stronger than her currently weakened self had grabbed her, not letting her move forward. Kieru's eyes started to go blurry. She blinked for a moment before opening her eyes, hoping to shake the blurry/dizzyness away as she attempted another step, though failing and falling to her knees.
Kieru coughed and gagged as she stared, blurry eyed, at the ground. After a moment, she stopped, as she felt a lump caught in her throat and instead threw up some extra bits of the black goo, parts of which had been digested and absorbed into her system, causing great weakness in her whole body, making it seem as though it was failing.
As the last bits of goo and water and mush came spat from her mouth, Kieru leaned back, tilting her head to look up at the sky, the bright blurry sunless sky made her eyes water as she closed them and hung her head. 'God..... What..... The hell...... Is going on.....?' She thought, her eyes still watering from the brightness that seemed to keep getting brighter to her.
She soon covered her eyes with her hands, her arms barely able to hold themselves up as Kieru leaned forward, placing a hand on the ground to throw up once again. She couldn't see what came out, but could feel that same sickening goo feeling that had come out of her just before. Her hair was becoming stained in it and her whole body ached and throbbed as Kieru then went completely limp, collapsing.
She was awake, only aware of her body, herself. Completely unaware of the others around her, nothing they may have said made it into her head, she felt nothing, only that she was being moved. Her body's position was being changed.
A rumbling could be heard from within the lake, along with a mass of bubbles rising and terrifying shrieks from inside it as the black goo rose, covering the surface of the lake.

Roy closed his eyes again and tried to regain his strength. He can`t believe that this black goo has weakened his body that much.
Then he suddenly heard something. He opened his eyes again and saw that Kieru was standing up. "Kieru what-?" Ro y looked at her with wide eyes. He couldn`t believe that she was still not resting. And judging by the look of her it was obvious that she was still really weak.
Roy pulled hisself up, which was slightly painful he had to notice. But he couldn`t care about his own self now. Kieru fell down on her knees. "See ? You should really rest!" Roy shouted while he tried to run after her, but suddenly stopped as he noticed that she was also throwing up. Which wouldn`t be something bad if it was not the black goo from earlier. "Oh no..." Then Kieru collapsed and fell to the ground. "Kieru!!" Roy was running towards her and turned his head around to call Billy "Billy! Kieru seems to be really sick. Please come and help-" But before Roy could finish the ground started to shake and the lake was filling with the black goo while the shrieking sounds of the monster could be heard again. "Great...." he said rather worried. "Billy come! We need to get away from here!" Roy shouted over to him and kneeled down to grab Kieru's right arm to put it around his shoulders. Then he stood up biting his teeth together as the pain flashed through his body when he used his muscles. Then he slowly started to move Kieru away from the lake.

"Kieru!" Billy said as Kieru collapsed, following Roy over to Kieru's body. "Mandy." Billy called to the small Gruel, who then came over into his arms. Billy lifted his scythe, standing next to Kieru and Roy. 'I hope this works....' He thought as he lifted his scythe and slammed it down, teleporting the three of them to yet another odd place.
Around them was nothing but forest. A deep thick and slightly foggy forest. Billy let go of Many and held himself up with his scythe using both hands, having even more of his energy drained so soon after the last major teleportation.
He looked around a bit, not sure where they were but not liking the feeling of this somewhat thick fog.

When Billy came over to the both of them suddenly everything turned green again and before he knew what was happening again everyone stood in a whole diffrent location again.
They stood in a dark forest. Their eyesight was limited though because of the fog that surrounded them. "Billy? You did it again, didn`t you?" Roy said while he watched the Reaper leaning at his scynthe. "You shouldn do it anymore... or you`ll end up like Kieru.. I am sure that we could have escaped without using your powers." he tried to explain to him while he layed Kieru on the ground gently. "Do you have an idea whats wrong with her?" he asked worried.

"I don't know.... But when you both came out of the lake, she had been covered with far more of the black goo than you.... I have a feeling it's still inside her...." He said quietly as he watched Kieru. "There's nothing my scythe can do to help her and I don't know any higher level spells that might help..."
"Also..." Billy started, looking up at Roy. "If we hadn't gotten far away, it would have caught us with it's remaining tentacles. "
"As we were resting for a moment, I was thinking.... And I remembered a study on mythical creatures from a couple years ago and there was one called cerop that lived in the darkness of a lake with a thousand or more tentacles. It spurts a black goo that will paralyze it's prey and when it's been caught, the cerop will absorb his goo substance into every inch of the prey's body until they're ready to be digested."
"There's supposed to be no chance of survival once you've been caught... You two are probably the only ones who've ever escaped it. She must've been being prepared for digestion... I don't know how much of the goo was absorbed in her, but it must've been a lot. I don't know how it will affect her. She's the only one who's ever gotten so close to being eaten that actually got away." Billy looked over to Kieru as he spoke that last sentence, then looked back at Roy again.
"Cerop sheds his tentacles every once in a while, so they continuously grow back... If he actually emerged, we wouldn't have been able to get away by running..."
