Water Element: Trunks!

[Zephel]

Stepping on the yellow sand, Zeph looked around in the piercing hot day. Noticing that he's the only one without any swimsuit on him, a lifeguard nearby blows his whsitle and ran towards Zephel, "Sorry, dude. No clothes allowed."

"What?!"

"Oh wait, that came out wrong. I mean, you have to be in a swimsuit, dude, or no surfing, swimming, tanning, hitting on chicks...everything."

Zeph stared at him unbelievably, "Look, I just want to practice my water element here--"

"No can do, dude~ I don't want anything on you except proper outfits. Part of the rule, dude."

Scowling at this annoying guy, Zephel battled his mind if he wants to go back to his dorm and practice using the water in his tub...or wear a blasted attire and practice with the largest source of water on the Earth...

Zeph walked off with a grunt, only to return with a pair of dark blue trunks on him, and sporting his blue goggles on his silver hair. But what's gaining everyone's attention is the sword strapped behind him with his white cape-like sheath supporting its weight, complete with it's strip to fasten the sheath right over his bare shoulder and down beside his waist.

Noticing the same guy just walked in, the lifeguard raised his hand high and greeted Zeph like an old buddy, "Oh, dude, you're back! NICE biceps, man~! What did you trained on? 4 weights at the same time?? Oh, and no killing people, alright? ...DANG, for somebody with biceps like yours, you're kinda lanky!"

'That's because I only have biceps after hitting Hikaru so many times...'

Rolling his eyes and stomping pass the lifeguard, Zeph made his way towards the sea, not really comfotable of the outfit he's currently wearing...

[Maki]

Maki entered the beach area, wearing a sky blue bikini with a bit of red and silver here and there, a see through light sort of black shawl tied around her waist. she carried a grey towel and wore a pair of shades as she walked, finding a place on the beach to set her towel down.

She took off her shawl and let it fall on the towel. She then removed her glasses and bent down to place them carefully on the towel, not noticing any stares from others on the beach at her appearance in that small but seemingly perfect fitting bikini.

Maki sat down on her towel for a little bit as she watched the ocean, deciding she wouldn't go in right away just yet but sit here for a few minutes first as she thought.

[Zephel]

Zeph was just pulling his sword out as he stepped near the shore when suddenly, a few dudes who had just done surfing, got out of the water and started pointing, "Duuude!! Look at that chick!! Is she hot or what??"

"Cha, of course, dumbell, she's wearing a bikini!"

"A very SMALL bikini, eh? Eh??"

Hearing that, and seeing them started walking towards where they just pointed, Zeph turned around. He didn't recognize who the girl is, but he just HATES it if he witness any flirtings going on.

He restrains himself from going towards the guys to beat the crap out of them, since it's none of his business. Instead, he puts his sword back in his sheath and watches how the girl reacts from afar. If its gone out of the line, then he'll step in...

[Maki]

Maki still just watched out to the sea, thinking over things she'd read recently and deciding how much longer she'd wait before going into the water.

[Zephel]

The dudes from before approached around Maki, blocking the sun from reaching her, "Hey there, sexy. Wanna come over to my house?"

One of them kneels in front of the sitting Maki, grinning in a twisted way, "So...babe, could I oil your back? ...Or maybe here, and here...and here..." then started to stroke her face, then her jawline, then her neck...

Witnessing that, Zeph twitched. He marched towards to where the girl is before the dude got any lower, and surprised to see it's Maki, the girl from Telekinesis and Telepathy class. Battling with his mind to either save her or save himself from her seeing him like this, Zeph clutched a fist...

"Sorry men,"

He chose the first one.

Unexpectedly, he moved beside Maki, forces himself to sit beside her and puts one arm around her shoulders, "She's taken. So scat." And with that, the dudes cussed and leaves the two, muttering inaudible words...

After they're gone, Zeph quickly lets go of Maki, disgusted of what he just said. Why, if Mr. Reinhardt, his teacher, saw him like this, he'd be clapping with joy and release drop of proud tears... Imagining that, Zeph scowled, unconciously twitching his eyebrow...

[Maki]

Maki looked over at Zephel after the two left and he removed his arm, a blank look still on her face. "You didn't have to do that." She said plainly, though not meaning it in an ungrateful way, figuring he'd felt awkward having done that. 'But I suppose it would be rude not to at least say thank you." She said as she looked toward the ocean again before standing up and beginning to walk toward the water.

She stopped at the edge of her towel and looked back at him. "So as not to seem rude, since this whole me being sent here was meant to become more social, I shall say thank you, Zephel." She said blankly still, pausing for a moment before turning and continuing to walk towards the ocean.

[Zephel]

Truthfully, Zeph was kind of surprised to hear Maki talking to him using more than two words, 'Maybe its because she doesn't have a book with her now.'

Blinking at what she said, Zeph just eyed her sharply as she stood up and looked back at him, saying her thanks, "You're...welcome..." Zeph's more interested with her reason to this school rather than her thanks, actually.

"Wait," Zeph stood up and catches Maki up, walking beside her to the ocean, "You mean you just enroll here to be more social? What kind of reason was that?? You can't change yourself unless you really want to."

[Maki]

"It wasn't my idea." Maki said plainly as she continued to walk towards the water, stepping in slowly, finding it somewhat chilly.

[Zephel]

"So you're forced to and you didn't even fight back?" he dryly asked, seeming sarcastic, "Or do you really want to change?"

Noticing he's asking a lot, Zeph shuts up and decided to just get on with his training, drawing out his elemental sword out from behind him and about to walk towards the ocean, but not until Maki answers.

[Maki]

Maki paused and turned to look at him again, almost showing a slight hint of sadness in her eyes, maybe nothing even noticeable or maybe even nothing at all, possibly an illusion on her blank face in the sun. "I did fight back." She said plainly.

"I was practically kicked out to come here against my wishes because they figured I spent too much time in my laboratory and library than I did actually speaking with people." She turned away again, looking out to the ocean. "I was fine with how things were..." She finished almost a bit quietly in her blank tone before walking a bit more, slowly submerging her whole body into the water.

[Zephel]

Zephel was surprised to notice that slight glint of sadness in Maki's face, something he kind of expected from a distant person, 'I thought so.'

When Maki turned away, explaining, Zeph listened intently, still having his sword in his grip, "...And what is so important about socializing that they just kicked you out?" he managed to ask before she walks a bit in the water. Zeph follows her, at the same time asking himself why the hell is he doing so.

[Maki]

"Probably because my race is a dying one. They don't want their only daughter to end up dying before bearing more." She said blankly as she then went underwater, swimming out a moment before turning into the appearance of a mermaid, half fish - half human and bringing her head back out, looking at Zephel, splashing her new fin about a bit.

[Zephel]

That answer totally hit Zeph somewhere in his cold shell. He just stared at her as she went underwater, "...Okay, that was worst than I thought..."

When he saw Maki a few meters far splashing in the water, his eyes shot wide as he wtnessed that there's a fin on Maki, "What the?" Thinking Leirpin is a mermaid type, he puts back his sword and wears his goggles, then just leaped towards the water and dived down, again, no idea why he's doing this.

He swims towards Maki, holding his breath longer than he thought, then popped his head up to breath, looking around for the blonde...

[Maki]

Maki watched as he swam towards her, remaining as she was, her fin splashing about a bit still.

[Zephel]

After he saw her, Zeph quickly asks, "Sorry to ruin your swimming pattern or whatever but.... Just what are you?? I mean...what does your species do??"

Truth to be told, Zeph never swims. Well, at least he didn't know if he could since he's still in memory-loss. So naturally, he didn't know how to. He just floats there, trying to keep his head on the water's surface... Why, if anything pulled him down, he'd be flailing like a cat drowning...
