Kimiko whimpered as Hikaru led her, her eyes shut tight as water leaked slowly out, her body trembling a frightful amount. As she was lifted, Kimiko let out a shriek, her eyes still shut tight as if reliving something painful behind her eyelids. Her body moved around as if trying to get herself from Zephel's arms, moaning and mumbling incoherent words as her face became stained with tears.

Noticing that Kimiko won't let herself being lifted, Zephel puts her down beside Hikaru, turns his back against her and squatted down. After Kimiko falls his back, Zeph took hold of her legs and starts carrying her on his back, "Go find him!"
And with that, Hikaru started sprinting towards wherever his feet his taking him. Truthfully, the boy's a bit jealous, seeing his brother and Kimiko like that, but the thought of Kimiko acting so abnormally like that made him worried...
He shook his head after a while, focusing on finding a man with foggy spectacles, "C'mon, luck, don't bring me down now...."
As Zeph tried to walk with Kimiko on him, something glowing suddenly falls on the floor. Blinking, the silver-haired took a closer look at it, "A...glowing clover?"

Kimiko still trembled rather violently, though she seemed almost a bit calmer, not struggling to get off his back, though the incoherent mumbles and tears and shut eyes remained the same. "M....Mama...." She uttered within her incoherent mumbles and moans, whimpering.

"Mama?" was the only word Zeph could make out through all the mumbling Kimiko had said. Staring at the glowing clover under him, the silver-haired blinked at it for a while. He then turned to look up, seeing Hikaru sprinting away fast from them. After cracking his brain to figure out what the fate is trying to reveal to him, he closed his eyes tight and slowly set Kimiko down, then calls, "Hikaru!!!"
Stopping his tracks and turning around, Hikaru noticed his brother is planning something. Accelerating his way towards the two, the redhead then kneeled beside Kimiko, who's laying on the floor moaning, "Nii-san, are you... But...you don't even know how to...!"
"There's no time to search for the teacher. ...I have to at least try," moving his way around Kimiko and now kneels right on top of her head, he handed Hikaru the glowing clover, "Hold her hand, and never let go."
Closing his eyes, he did the same thing the teacher did. Leaning on top of her head, he touched his forehead on her forehead and focused his mind into entering her memories...
"Come on, Kimiko... Let me in..."

Kimiko's body still trembled, muttering and moaning incoherent words. Inside her mind was a rather young Kimiko of about nine and a half, trembling and whimpering as he mother led her into her room in the dark and hid her under a sort of bed and went off to fight.
Kimiko whimpered still, mumbling 'mama' under her breath, hoping she'll come back safely. What she saw enter the room next, however, make her words get caught in her throat as she saw a pair of rather rugged looking legs walking in with a thick sword, blood dripping down off of it as the man walked around her room then left to look some more.
Kimiko, still whimpering, climbed out from under her bed and opened her window, jumping down and beginning to run, run as fast as she could on all fours with tears streaming down her face. She was stopped when a person stood in her way, the same one with the thick sword before, a rather ugly man with a sickeningly twisted grin.
Kimiko backed away a bit slowly as he approached her before she quickly then turned and broke into a run as fast as her legs could carry her, running deep into the woods and hiding, lying atop the trees in branches hidden behind the leaves.
When she had lost the man, Kimiko broke down into tears, leaning against the trunk of the tree and just crying, trying to grip into the tree with her claws, muttering and whimpering words of hate and disgust for the man who'd just killed her parents.
"Mama..." Kimiko uttered aloud rather quietly again inbetween her mumbles and moans of incoherent words, tears streaming down her face still as she remained in that state of woods, flashing back constantly to the man with the bloody sword.

Breaking apart from her forehead, Zeph fell backwards, supporting his body with his left elbow while clutching his head with his right hand, groaning a bit at the flashbacks he saw from the cat-girl's head...
"What was that?!"
"What was what?!! What happened?! Are you okay?!" rushing towards his brother, Hikaru's palms starts glowing as he readied himself to heal, until Zeph motioned for him to stop...
The light on his palms receeded as Hikaru lowered down his arms, then looked towards Kimiko, "...It's not an injury that I can heal, is it...?"[/font]
Zeph catches his breath, staring at Hikaru for a moment before turning his attention to Kimiko...
'Kimiko. ...Kimiko! ...Can you hear my voice?!'

Kimiko's body seemed to calm only slightly though still trembling and whimpering. 'Who.... Who's there?" The young Kimiko called from the tree in a frightened tone, hearing a voice that seemed somewhat familiar yet no one she had known, like a faraway dream. A voice she somehow knew she trusted.

Zeph nodded to himself, finding that finally his telepathy is good for something... Taking a deep inhale, he then focuses all his mind towards Kimiko while closing his eyes.
'Don't worry...calm down. It's Zephel, and I'm here to help you.'
He can only managed to see a vague version of Kimiko's past, due to his lack of mastery in telepathy, but he's trying his best to reach her, 'Okay, Kimiko, listen to me. ...Can you try reaching the leaf beside you with your left hand?'
Hikaru stayed silent beside the whimpering Kimiko, eyeing his brother concentrating. The redhead sighed for a while, twiddling the glowing clover around and around with his left hand, hoping he can help in some way...
"Kimiko-chan..."

'Wh.....Who....? But.... If I move, he'll see me..... Please don't hurt me..... Mama........' Kimiko's young inner voice whimpered, remaining still and just whimpering, crying silently for her Mama who'd just been slain.

"Augh..." Zeph opened his eyes just to roll them. He particularly dislikes children; their insecurity, their whining, their annoyingly simple black and white version of life... He doesn't hate them, just...can't tolerate them for long. After getting a hand running over his silver tresses, he turned to his brother.
Seeing how helpless and concerned Hikaru is, the element wielder closed his eyes with yet another depressing sigh. Getting back on his knees and slowly places his forehead on Kimiko's, he tries yet again to contact her past self, 'Your mama can't help you now, Kimiko. Now, please, for her sake, listen, I'm trying to help you. Firstly, you're going to be fine. You're going to be a bubbling bumblebee years after this, living happily with your life and annoying the hell out of me. So don't worry...you'll live through. I don't know how, but you will. Secondly...'
There was a pause from Zeph, as slight hesitation clouded over him. But after a moment, he continued with the most gentlest tone he could offer, 'Secondly, just walk forward. ...Carry your painful memory with you, it will make you strong. Soon, you'll find the light that will always be beside you...helping you.'

Kimiko's body shook and shivered a moment longer before calming slightly as her mind slowly faded into darkness and she lay completely unconscious. No thoughts. No movements of her body. Just still and serene.

Zephel opened his eyes, then pushes himself off from touching Kimiko's forehead and sat back with a sigh. He didn't really know if his words helped the girl or not, since he was told being a counselor is the least he could expect appearing in his profession list. Hikaru's the one that's good in words...not Zeph. Zeph is never good in moral support, he's good in only destroying it, actually.
"Damn, I hope I said it right..."
Hikaru's eyes widen as he stared at Kimiko's motionless body, no shivering, no quivering, no moaning...just surprisingly looked tranquil. He holds her left hand gently after keeping the glowing clover he gave her safe in his pocket, "Nii-san, I don't know what you did..." Hikaru shot Zeph the most appreciative glint ever in his eyes, "But thank you SO MUCH..."
Words don't affect Zeph. Words rarely affect the main element-wielder. But that look in his brother's eyes surprised Zeph... To hide that rather embarassing shock, Zeph looks away from him and clears his throat awkwardly, "I think we should get Kimiko to a clinic or something."
"No. I think it's better to get her back to her dorm and just let her sleep."
The silver-haired was startled a bit by Hikaru's sudden suggestion. Hikaru...just spoke his mind. Just said 'no' to him. Just shared his idea to him. That has never happened before...ever. 'He's growing... He gained so much strength and courage...by just needing to help her...' Zeph took a moment to compose himself before finally turns to look at Hikaru...
His shock was tested yet again. With his own eyes, Zeph witnessed himself how Hikaru, his once immature little brother, slides his hands under Kimiko and lifts her unconscious body cradled in his arms without any difficulty. Zeph could never imagine where the hell that little kid got all that strength from to haul 30 or so kilograms up in his skinny arms. Last time he checked, Hikari can't even break a biscuit to half...
He eyed the redhead in front of him, worried he might accidentally dropped Kimiko at any moment. But, Zeph can't even find a quivering limb on Hikaru. The young boy looks so different now when holding Kimiko...so strong, so protective...so reliable. Never in his life had he seen Hikaru's eyes so resolute like that as the boy stared at Kimiko's sleeping form. But the thing that shocked Zeph the most is the words Hikaru chose to say to him, the absolute proof he stopped clinging to his older brother...
"No, it's okay, nii-san. I can do this alone. You just enjoy the rest of the night, okay? ...I really want to help her on my own now."
