Anthony's spectacles fogged up as soon as Kalas got hit by the second book. He shook his head, clicking his tongue in the process in an annoyed manner. "You don't know what telepathy is?? Oh, this is unacceptable." The teacher adjusted his glasses using his middle finger, standing still on the spot.
A few seconds before Kalas attacked him though, the spectacled man started to move away from the spot, as he had read his student's mind, and knowing full well of his slow speed, Anthony is forced to move away before the attack happens. The teacher hopped away from the blade a bit, though some books that floated around him got hit. One of them, by Anthony's command, managed to lowered the blade Kalasis holding. "My dear. Telepathy is a skill to read other's mind. It is either a skill you are gifted with since you were born...or an ability you can unlock by training with me."
Anthony smiled as the floating books around him returned back to their places inside the cabinet, almost ramming through Zephel as the boy's busy doing the paperwork. "Now, I know what to call you." Anthony grinned, stepping close to Kalas, and pointed at Kalas's forehead while loudly announce, "You are now bearing the nick name of......PEPPERMINT STICK!!!"
Kalas charged at this guy who was talking about something with the word telepathy in it, at least thats what Kalas thought since he didn`t pay attention. He just wants to finish this childish play.
"What ?!" With a pretty confused face Kalas had to watch how a book blocked his hit and then this teacher was talking again. "Learn it, eh? Of course I can learn it. But only if you finally TEACH me HOW! And next to that, what the hell has this to do with DREAM RECALLING?!"
Not sure if he was going to answer Anthony came a bit closer and the books returned to its rightful places again. Then suddenly Kalas got tipped on his forehead and heard the nickname that the teacher anounced. The result of it was that Kalas jaw dropped and his sword fell out of his hand hitting the ground with a metallic sound.
"You.... lost it... completly" he said calm and totally beaten by that randomness of Anthony.
Zephel moved his head to the side as one of the returning books almost slammed him in the face. The young man stood up from the chair, yelling, "Hey!!! What the hell was that?!" Zeph's anger only drains down when Kalas was hit with that shame shock that Zeph himself used to have when he first met Anthony.
Rolling his eyes, he stepped to the center of the class in between the teacher and this new student and glared at the oldest of the trio. "Anthony, I swear, if you intend you annoy the hell out of this guy..." His words trailed off, too irritated to finish and just simply took a deep calm breath...and let it out slowly.
He turned to Kalas, his eyes half-closed. "If you ever feel you're going insane, speak to me immediately and I'll re-assemble your mind for you. This nutcase has a nasty habit of doing that often, so if you can't find me, go locate this other teacher called Evan, alright?"
Zeph was never the type to generally care about the other beings in this school, but since this is related to this sickhead Anthony, it became one of his priorities to get as many innocents away from that psycho. So he looked at Kalas with that blood red eyes, "And by any means, if you can kill him, I'll invite you to the buffet party I shall manage at his gravesite."
Kalas listened to Zephel`s words carefully but wasn`t really sure what exactly he was talking about. 'Re-assemble my mind, what the hell? Ah well... this weird teacher won`t get me anyway.' he elaborated in his thoughts.
"Thanks" he said even though he didn`t mean it. But since he didn`t know what else to reply this was the only way to appreciate his help.
Kalas eye twitched as her heard Zephels offer and some certain ideas on how he can accomplish that task flashed through his head. "I`ll keep that in mind" he said with an evil grin while piercing Anthony with his eyes.
Anthony clicked his tongue while patting Zeph's head, "Now, now, gum drop. This is peppermint stick's lesson. You shouldn't intrude us." With a smirk, the teacher suddenly stepped back, quickly removed his glasses then shot Zeph something that's close to a glare...suddenly making the boy froze like statue.
"There." Anthony puts back his spectacles on and smiled at Kalas. "Back to training, peppermint stick?"
Zeph's breath stopped short. His eyes wide, and his muscles tightened. All was caused by a glare. 'Wh...What is this?!' He thought, trying to send it to Anthony, but to no avail, since the teacher didn't even take a second look at him, and merely just float him to the far end of the class, frozen like that.
Kalas looked at Zephel and totally didn`t understood what was wrong. But why should he care ? He turned around after he sighed "Geez, your weird" to the statue and faced Anthony now.
He stepped in front of him "Two things!" he demanded with showing two fingers of his right hand. "Firstly" he began shwoing one finger now "Finally get a teaching attitude and tell me what to do... " Adding a finger "and secondly....if you ever call me that name again I swear I will..." even though he didn`t finish the sentence with some mortal curse he still had a dangerous glare in his eyes.
Anthony chuckled at the two conditions the student stated, then shifted his weight to his other foot, his palms touching his elbows. "Alright, let's see here..." He tapped a finger to his chin, thinking. "For your first condition...I deeply regret to say that I am absolutely undependable into normal teaching methods.....but I suppose I could try..." He nodded, placing that suggestion into his memory.
"Though, about your second condition..." The teacher grinned wide, "I can't do that. Plus, it fits you so much~!" Anthony clapped his hands in glee, now seeming like a school girl getting her first credit card. "Now then, peppermint stick, which time-sensitive dream would you like to begin recalling? Recent or ancient?"
Kalas picks up his sword with a self-satisfied grin as he heard how Anthony tried to explain his teaching attitude and added after finishing that he could give it a try.
'Wow, I didn`t know that its that easy to make him doing what I want...' Kalas said with a smirk as he checked if his swords got any damage from falling on the stone ground.
While checking Kalas face froze and his sword fell down again as he heard his awful nickname again. "You...." he grunted.
"Doing what I want? Since when I`m so brainless!" he cursed to himself as he picked up his sword again and then faced Anthony.
He opened his mouth to shout at him but the thought that it would be of no use anyway and just ignored what he said. "Well..." he began "The truth why I chose this subject is that I never can remember my dreams. But every human dreams while sleeping. This means, Reinhardt, your job is to help me remembering my dreams. Easy for you, right?"
Anthony chuckled while watching this new student, amused by his repetitious sword-dropping-and-picking action. Seeing how annoyed Kalas is at the nickname made the teacher so elated, gladly satisfied on how perfect the nickname is...so much better than that seraph cyborg one. Oh how he loves defamation.
Anthony's interest flickered the second Kalas mentioned the reason why he even attend this class. "Ahh, I see. Well in that case, of course I'll help." The teacher nodded, then stroke his chin. "But, you see, the problem is, I don't even know if angels could dream, so let me just try to see if I can detect any dream from your mind first, okay?" For once, Anthony seemed like a normal helpful teacher...until he stopped stroking his chin, rests his hands on his hips, and grinned a toothy smile. "Also!!"
The spectacled man suddenly hops in front of Kalas, noticed the sword grabbed tightly on his right hand, then hopped to his left. "Never address me by Reinhardt unless you insert a 'Mister' prefix, mmkay?" And with that, the unexpected teacher kissed Kalas on the cheek, jumped far to the back and laughed. "Or I shall do that over and over to you. And fret not, I'm not afraid to advance another step, so BOO!"
Followed with that 'BOO' outburst, is a frighteningly feminine wink.
"You're just SO darn adorable, peppermint stick~!"
If Zeph could move, he would've wince at that pride-breaking sight. Heck, if he has bleach, he would've scrub his eyes with it as hard as he can...even being blind is not such a bad idea at this moment. If only he could just BLINK...
'Finally the lesson starts' Kalas thought as Anthony spoke about if angels could dream. But then something happened that Kales totally did not expect at all.
Kalas face went blank, and in the next second hate was flaming through his eyes. "YOU!" he outbursts in a creepy yell. Like a bersercer he raised his sword and swung it around in a furious speed.
"What the hell was that for you self-satisfied freak?! Just for the respectless 'Reinhardt'?? Thats the least I can do against your Peppermint bullshit!!"
After finishing screaming he tried to calm himself, because charging at that guy would be of no use. He would probably end up like that silver-haired guy over there who hasn`t been moving at all. And one thing was sure, Zephel wouldn`t do that just for fun since he seemed to hate that teacher too.
"Alright..." Kalas started "check my dreams, but-" raising his sword "do not dare to touch me again... sir" the last word sounded more or less like he had to puke it out.
Anthony was forced to clutch his sides to avoid exploding through his excessive laughter, and avoiding every strike Kalas swung to him in the process. It's like the peppermint said, the teacher's a self-satisfying freak, so his reply to the enraged student is only a calm, "Now, now. You just have to get used to that name, peppermint stick. Because the more you hate it, the closer I'm sticking myself to you."
He flashes that award-winning dork-of-the-year grin to Kalas, just as the boy's calming himself down. Chuckling at the last sentence Kalas made, Anthony waved his hand, almost like shrugging away everything his student just said. "I can't check any dreams without touching, my dear. At least on the forehead. It makes things easier if you sleep too."
A devious smile is formed from the spectacled man's lips. "Of course, I'll be glad to knock you unconcious, if you let me... ...Or would you prefer Zephel do it instead?"
Kalas closed his eyes forcing himself not to outburst 'How is that possible ?.... This guy fills the 'Annoying-meter'.. causes it to explode... and fills it again.. and again....... and again....'
Kalas got interrupted by the sudden request Anthony made. "Yeah, it was sooo obvious that it wouldn`t work without touching..." Kalas grunted silently "but sleeping?!?!" he added screaming.
"You WISH" he said while raising his sword again. "If you attack me I swear that you won`t live long enough to see if you hit me..." Then he tilted his head towards Zephel "And stop using this guy for your nasty plans."
"Why, thank you for your gracious compliment, peppermint stick." Anthony took hold of the hem of his short coat and lifts it as he bows down slightly to Kalas. 'Heard that. Took it as a praise of admiration from you. I appreciate your doubtless respect for me, my dear.' Grinning while telepathically sending that message to the student, the spectacled man winked.
The teacher nodded at Kalas's scream, "Yes, sleeping. It eases the flow of your thoughts, thus giving me the freedom to roam around your mind and find out what you need to know inside that noodle of yours, peppermint stick." He said that rather seriously, his glasses shines as he said that. "But of course, it's ultimately your choice. Either you sleep and I guarantee my assistance will thoroughly be completed FASTLY...or you you're awake and bear that my forehead is against yours for 5 hours minimum, and that doen't guarantees I'll find what you want there, dear."
Anthony then turns around and takes his time strutting his way towards the frozen Zephel, ruffles the poor boy's silver hair, and spins his way around the element-wielder till he faces Kalas, still with his hand atop Zephel's head. "And don't you worry your pretty little head over gum drop here. He's perfectly fine with my 'nasty' plans, as you say. Right, lime gum drop?" Followed by that is a continuous pat on the head to Zeph, automatically releasing Zeph from his frozen state.
