Evan took the scroll casually that was handed to him and read it over swiftly while Hikaru spoke. He was able to listen and read at the same time. It didn't take him long to read and he quickly rolled it up after and looked back up at Hikaru again.
"Interesting." He began, "We can set up extra lessons in your spare time to train." He said casually, now a bit interested in finding out more about this student's special skills that seem to be shadowed by his clumsyness in class.

"Y-yeah, that's what nii-san wants me to do..." The child scratches the back of his head, not really want to train more, but this is to improve his element, and he will do anything to upgrade his special skill. Mainly because he felt unique by it. ...Even if it means confronting one of the people he's honestly scared crapless at.
"Uhm...I'm free anytime actually, M-Mister Archen. I'll just follow your schedule...w-whenever you're free, I'll be waiting, I guess..." Hikaru bowed a bit at his teacher, then pointed out Evan should keep the scroll since Zephel thinks Hikaru will probably forgot where he store it and lose the thing entirely.
"Oh, and if you need anything that I can help with, then please let me know." For once, a genuine smile is formed from the light-wielder, because when it comes into helping, Hikaru would be really glad to assist.

Evan gave a slight nod. "Tomorrow afternoon. 2:30 sharp. Meet me at the backyard of the schoolgrounds." Evan said in his strong voice, looking at Hikaru. "You have a good heart, Hikaru." He added, trying to soften his voice a bit for his timid student, "Don't ever lose that."

Hikaru nodded vigorously, repeating the sentence to remind himself, "Tomorrow, 2:30, backyard. Okay." He was just about to turn around and leave when the teacher suddenly declared something that truly touched him. The redhead gazed back at the teacher in surprise, his mouth opening a slight bit.
"I...I'll try. ...Thank you, Mister Archen." Hikaru bowed a full 90 degrees to his teacher, out of pure respect, and smiled happily. Then, he walks out of the lounge with a wide grin, though not before tripping the wrinkled fabric of the carpet and fumbling his way out, which is rather on-character of him to do so frankly.

Evan let out a single chuckle again at this boy as he left. 'Amusing kid...' He thought, safely placing the scroll in a bag next to him.'I wonder how far he'll be able to go...'
