"Oh and you don't? could have fooled me" He snickered.

"Wasn't it you that said You only live once?" He asked now closing his eyes. It was definitely relaxed at this moment

[Kida]

"Too true, but in this instance I have a worry, a care and a problem all rolled into one. I might have to move on from this place even before I've settled if I don't find anything exciting and fun to do." OR A FUCKING COMIC BOOK SHOP! Kida hoped some god had heard her wailing thoughts and was so troubled they'd just materialize a damn store for her. No such luck.

"I swear to GOD if Hudson dies in the next issue and I don't get it, I'm gonna be so pissed." she muttered to herself.

[Takato]

"Hudson? who's that?" He asked curiously

"Hm, If this was a first date, I'd be jealous" He chuckled

[Kida]

"Hudson is a character in a comic I read called Gargoyles. There was a cliff hanger on the last one and his life was in danger." she clarified, a little miffed by the idea of such a lovable character dying so pointlessly. "No need for jealousy, even if he wasn't in a comic, he's an old guy. Ancient even. But again, I doubt you want me rambling on about that stuff so I'll stop there."

[Takato]

Takato rolled to his side starring at her a bit.

"Well, If theres no need to be jealous, Then by all means, ramble away" He said smiling.

She almost had him interested. I mean, its not everyday that a girl would mention a gargoyle to him. If it was something besides, Hair, make-up and shopping. Takato was all ears.

"By the way, whats a gargoyle?" He asked curiously

[Kida]

Kida felt time stop. She turned her head and stared at him. "You don't know...what...a gargoyle is?" Oh god, heaven no. She felt a full geeky ramble coming on. Kida couldn't stop it, but it wasn't her fault! He asked for it!

"Oh my God! Well first off, you know those carvings of monsters with wings on churches? Those are gargoyles. They're, in general, supposed to be protectors to keep evil out and good safe within even though they looked terrifying. But that's just the general for buildings. In the comic they're real creatures with great strength and agility, but they turn to stone during the day--which is why they appear to be just urban legend now--but they really do have an instinct to defend and protect. Normally they protect castles and humans during the middle ages because it was all about conquer and raids. But Goliath, that's the leader of one of the gargoyles clans, was betrayed by those humans he protected and almost all of his clan was destroyed. Then the Magus, he's like a wizard, got all pissed thinking it was Goliath's fault when he thought the princess had died. So the Magus curse Goliath and what was left of his kind to stay in a stone sleep until their castle moved above the clouds. Thousands of years later a billionaire reads the legend of Goliath in a book the Magus had written, buys the entire castle and puts in on top of his sky scrapper above the clouds and the gargoyles come awake again in modern day Manhattan!" Kida took the first breath of air her lungs had received in...well, however long it had taken her to ramble through that explanation. Which, believe it or not, was the short version.

[Takato]

"Could you breath during that?"Takato starred her wide eyed. He certainly knew what Kida was talking about now.

"Oh, well Thats... Interesting" He said with a sweatdrop.

'Maybe I should add Gargoyles to the list of things I dont want to talk about, especially with her' he thought. Though, It wasn't as bad as the hair, the make-up and the shopping, It still shocked him. It was a plus that Kida was so...unique for sure he had never met a girl like this. Maybe thats what had him interested. She was... Diffrent

[Kida]

Kida blinked, her bright and excited expression quickly crumbling and turning into embarassment that she tried to hide. "Err...uh....sorry. I tend you get...carried away sometimes." Inwardly she sighed. She'd killed her image yet again with her geeky tendencies.

"If that ever happens again, just interrupt me with 'shut up'"

[Takato]

Takato just chuckled at her. It was really funny how she was one minute giving him the lecture of a life time and the next moment she was sinking into a shell like a turtle.

"Why are you embarrassed, I find it... Cute" He said

He found it cute that she had an interest in something that totally wasn't girly. SCORE. Funny thing is now that she just spat out a whole novel's worth of describing gargoyles to him. He felt as if the mood had shifted. For once. He just felt comfortable.

[Kida]

"I'm not embarrassed." she snapped out the lie. Okay, so technically she was, but not for the reasons he probably figured. Usually she tried to wait until she'd known someone for a little while before they found out about her obsession.

At least he had the decency to tell her he thought it was cute, though it wasn't exactly a word she thought described her. Kida looked back up at the clouds, watching the big white cotton balls move at the pace of a snail in the sky. "I don't think 'cute' is something you should expect from me." Save for her incredibly fashionable clothes if she did say so herself.

[Takato]

"Oh? So am i wrong to think that Something unique is cute?" He asked

Takato just rolled back onto his back. He knew, if he didn't move, he was going to fall asleep. And Takato if he knew anything, Girls did not appreciate falling asleep on them. Its not that she was boring him. Hell she was the only thing keeping him awake.

[Kida]

"No, that's your opinion, which you're entitled to. I'm just saying you shouldn't expect it in the future. Unique I may be, but I don't personally think I can be described as 'cute'." In her head cute translated to pink teddy bears, rainbows and big-eyed unicorns.

"Now as I understand it Kitty Cats are supposed to be rather adorable." she said, teasing him.

[Takato]

"Oh?" He said smirking at her "And you don't think this face is cute?" He continued teasing still with that smirk plastered all over his face.

[Kida]

Kida turned, racked her gaze over his face with an expression of concentration on hers. "Mmmm....It's okay." she finally dubbed. Kida tried to keep her laugh inside and looked back at the sky. Again she was just teasing, but she was rather entertained.

"Ok? Just ok? aw c'mon, You know you like it" he said smirking
