Was she happy? of course she is, She's the happiest she's ever been. No one has ever made her smile as much as he does. No one has made her laugh even if she dosnt show it all the time. Iku has lived her life with no regrets living here. No regrets at all. Its the memories before that haunt her.
"You just don't get it" She said slamming her glass on the table. "Its not a question of am I happy now" Iku stopped. "Forget it" she muttered as she was about to pour her heart out. But it was to the wrong person. Iku's may be happy but the scars are still there on her wounded heart. The scars that make her question if she's doing the right thing or not. By trusting him. Iku trusted him wholeheartedly. It was her brain, that would create illusion's, the "What if's". The only time when she's not scared that anything would go wrong, is when he's there by her side. By you can't stay with the same person all the time and she knew that. She liked her space anyways.
Iku took a deep breath as she got her thoughts together. For some reason alcohol was just not the answer today. For it only had her frustrated. 'Relax, everything is going to be ok' She inwardly told herself

"I don`t get it?" Kalas repeated questioning. "Well, I don`t know how you come to that conclusion but I can see right through it."
By now he fully turned himself to Iku and completly lost his interest in the alcohol. Iku wasn`t aware that angels can also have the ability of mind-reading. So Kalas took a little glimpse in her mind right after her little outburst. She must have felt a smal tickle in her head while he was doing that.
"Thoughts.... can turn the best moment into a complicated net of razor wire.. people will always ask if they did the right thing or not wondering how their life would flow if they had taken another route. Humans need to learn that they can`t have the total control of anything that happened and happens to them."
Kalas made a short pause. Even for an angel that was already a lot of philosophy talk. He played a little with his wings, causing some feather to fall from his right wing. By the time he thought that Iku had enough time to think about his sentences he continued like Iku and he had already known each other for years.
"In my opinion you shouldn`t bother at all. The kiss at the beach shows how you truely feel and that you can endure anything with a guy like him at your side."

Iku sweatdropped, again! someone was reading her mind. How many times do people have to invade her head!! There was no stopping it for ti had already happend. And if he did invade her head, then she wouldn't have to go threw explaining anything at all. He was right, The way he held her. Made her feel secure and safe, the way he kissed her, it was always ever so breath taking. Iku sighed once more. And no matter how many times Kiara had told her the exact same thing, The fear resides. It was something she would have to swallow. Maybe this is exactly what she needed. Someone to read her mind and tell her that everything is going to be ok...
"I guess you're right" She said softly

Kalas gave her a last kind smile before his face expression went totally blank. Then he closed his eyes and reached with his hands for his head "Gaah! Where did these damn headache come from ?" he moaned as he turned to his whiskey again.
"No matter how much you drink it never has the use its supposed to have!" he went on ranting, grabbed his glas again and poured everything down his throat.
"Ahhh, yeeees..." he let out in relief feeling that the headache left as soon as it approached.
And so Kalas completely went back to his normal self again leaving not a single glimpse of the kindness which decorated his face for a little time.

Iku sighed as she took another drink. Slowly sipping the vodka, as it ran its course down her throat. He was right, She just needed to relax. She could trust him to be the man that she needed him to be. No need to be nervous about anything. Iku then looked over at the man next to her. As she was about to thank him, she had noticed that kindness on his face wasn't there. Iku sighed once more turning back to her glass
"One more please" She said to the bartender

Taking a glance at the girl who just ordered something he added "Same for me" and turned away from her probably having no memories left about the conversation they had just moments ago.
