A Little Tai Chi in the Garden of Dreams

[Evan]

Evan had been up since before sunrise reading and planning lessons for his classes, finally getting tired of it around dusk. He headed out to a rather calming place to exercise his body after a long day of working information through his mind.

He found his way to the center of the beautiful Garden of Dreams, standing underneath a rather uniquely shaped tree for a moment as he looked around and took in a deep breath.

Evan closed his eyes and exhaled as he moved his right foot slightly forward then off to the side, pulling up his hands flat in front of his face, moving his right arm out with his right leg and pulling his left arm a bit to his left as he swiveled around, drawing a wide circle in the dirt with his right foot.

He slowly stood straight, closing his eyes again and taking in another breath as he lifted his arms, letting out his breath as he pressed them down the center of his body.

He slowly began to move his right arm and leg out again, moving his body somewhat low to the ground, shifting his weight, then standing back up and reversing the movement. He continued other slow, deliberate movements, almost appearing to be dancing slowly, not once stepping outside of his circle.

[Sven]

"...I would appreciate it if you would stop stalking me now." Toph paused as she turned around, facing only a tree behind. Sensing her prowler still won't come out, she heaved an annoyed sigh. "Seriously mister, leave me alone, I'm not in the mood to kick butt right now."

Stomping away from the tree, the black-haired girl stomps her way further inside the Garden of Dreams, fully pissed at the man's that's been following her for the past 2 hours. Heck, she was pissed in the first place because of this annoying stalker. She can't exactly see that person, but she could feel him and his steps through the earth, her bare feet being her main pair of detectors.

"Dammit, I said, GET OUT OF THERE!!!" Exactly two hours is the maximum limit Toph's patience usually snapped, and with a powerful stomp of her foot to the ground, a large piece of the earth shoots up right behind the tree, and catapulting whoever's stalking her right to the sky.

"Waaaa~!!" Anthony spins in the sky as he fell his way right on the center of the Garden of Dreams...and during his flight, the stalker detected someone OTHER than the girl in the garden. "EVIEKINS~~!!!!" Opening up his arms, he then flew his way right onto Evan with a grin.

[Evan]

Hearing a rather loud disturbance then a quite familiar and obnoxious voice, Evan didn't even have to open his eyes to know that Anthony was flying directly at him. Without breaking from his calm movements, Evan swiveled out of his circle and out of the way. After hearing the thud of his fellow teacher falling against the ground, Evan stood tall and opened his eyes, letting out a breath of air.

"What are you up to now, Anthony?" He said in his usual serious and strong tone, though a slight calm evident in his voice and on his features, the effects of his Tai Chi meditation.

[Sven]

"Ooof!!" Landing on the ground with a loud smack, the spectacled teacher then quickly sat up, adjusting his glasses. "Eviekins, Eviekins~! I saw this girl just now, and she's SOO tiny, like THIS tiny!" Anthony excitedly said as he positioned his hand to about the height of his own head when sitting down, "And she I thought it was unsafe of her to be walking alone like that, so I followed her. But then, you know what, this rock suddenly shoots up from the ground, and--!!"

Anthony's story-telling moment got cuts off when the sand suddenly swallowed him, leaving only his head out and hardened by itself. His glasses fell by the sudden inertia as the man blinked. "Eh??"

"I AM NOT THAT SMALL!!!" A squeaky yell could be heard as an apparently tiny girl in green makes her appearance. Her black bangs almost completely covered her face, but it definitely covered her eyes. She then readies with a stance, considering if the other man is the weirdo's ally, then that means he must be a weirdo too. "What are you looking at?!" She screamed, pissed than ever before.

[Evan]

Evan looked directly at the girl and let out a small breath of air, still standing perfectly straight. "Please, calm down. My name is Mr. Archen, I am a teacher here as well as this disgrace of a teacher, Mr. Reinhardt, who has been following you. On behalf of his idiocy, I apologize." Evan said in a calm but strong voice, watching carefully for this girl's reaction.

"What is your name?" He asked almost immediately after, then waited silently for her answer.

[Sven]

The hair that covers her face pretty much obstructs anyone to read her facial expression. But as she lowers down her hands and placed it on her hips, though rather calmly actually, successfully revealing she just heard what she needs to hear; an apology.

"The name's Toph. Toph Bei Fong."

"Ohhhh!!!! What a cute little name~!!"

"SHUT UP!!!" The tiny girl makes herself known that her temper isn't something to be messed with, even by the most littlest thing. That, and the stomp of her foot had successfully sent Anthony shooting out of the ground...and land on the tree a few feet nearby. "It is NOT CUTE!"

"YAAAAA~!!!" Boof!! Snap! Crack! BAM!!

And an upside-down Anthony fell from the branches of the tree with a loud whack, slowly curling himself into a ball for a while to recover from the pain and stood up dizzily. His hand staggered on the tree as his support. "Truly, Eviekins... It's very rare to see a child like this having so much power. No wonder I'm attracted to her."

Toph huffed, crossing her arms on her flat chest. She takes that as a compliment, at least. All that while, she kept her head low, letting her bangs covering her face...

"Anyway, mister...Arc...something." Toph said, not really care to remember the man's name. "Is it daylight or night time now..?" She asked with a slow, rather embarrassed tone, focusing only to this one teacher instead of that other weird one.

[Evan]

Evan watched silently as the girl tossed Anthony into the tree then turned his attention back to the female student, seeming to ignore Anthony's comment.

"Archen." He finished for her. "It is almost nighttime now, miss Fong. The sun is nearly set." He answered, still in his strong tone, though calm still and almost trying to be a bit extra polite to the female student that his idiotic coworker had offended. He stood straight and still as his eyes remained on the girl, only glancing to Anthony once or twice to make sure he didn't do anything more to further annoy her.

[Sven]

"Right, right, Mr. Archen." Toph waved a hand, seeming to shrug it off, when in truth that's just her shell trying to look like she doesn't care. "And don't call me Fong, it's embarrassing. Just T--" But was cut off by the idiot that, to Toph, was just trying hard to get attention.

"OHH!!! I know what you to call you!! Raising a hand high in the air, Anthony then swooshed a finger to point right at Toph, his extended arm just above Evan's right shoulder. "Since you're so tiny and popped when you're angry...you are OFFICIALLY known as......POPCORN!!!"

"..." Raising up both her hands almost like praying, only that her arms are wide apart, then slides her right leg to the front. Actually, this stance was taken from an ancient Chinese defense art, so Toph's stance is strangely similar to a praying mantis now.

"Ohhh~!! She's going kung-fu!! That's so adorable!!" Anthony clapped behind Evan, peeking out from his colleague's shoulder to watch, expecting himself to be thrown out of the ground again by a rocketing boulder, but then...

"You know what? You're not even worth it. I'm too tired for this..." Lowering down her arms, the little girl then turned around and walks off to the direction where the dormitories are.

And her action thoroughly disappoint the spectacled man. To the point of pouting, and going to the extreme apparently, as he levitated the poor girl up from the ground and patted Evan by the shoulder. "Ne, ne~! Let's--" But his sentence was cut off by a shrill cry, loud enough to echo the Garden of Dreams.

A shrill that came from Toph. "Aaaaah!!! Let me down, LET ME DOWN!!!" She screamed as she struggled in the air to find a solid ground she could step on. Basically, being blind and all, she NEEDS her feet to touch the ground to be able to SEE...well, feel, at least. But it's almost like seeing. ...With her feet.

So now that she's temporarily stripped off her 'sight', Toph displayed much more anger, but that was branched off from fear, which has now became apparent the more she yelled. "PUT. ME. DOWN! NOW!!" The girl in green attempted to point at her oppressor...only that she pointed at a solid piece of rock...

Eyeing the floating girl, Anthony silently observed her from behind Evan's shoulder, blinking wildly...and then, it finally hits him. "Say...Eviekins... I'm just assuming this but.... Is the popcorn blind...?"

[Evan]

Evan took in a deep breath, turning his head to look annoyedly at Anthony. "I suppose that has become apparent." He said in his strong but still somewhat calm voice before turning away from Anthony and walking over to the girl, taking hold of her and pulling her back down to place her feet on the ground.

"Now stop levitating the students, Anthony." Evan spoke, looking at Anthony again as he let go of Toph and took a couple steps away to give her space.

[Sven]

Toph gasped as she felt a hand took hold of her and pulled her down, something she totally will owe that person for life...but before that...

"AGH!!! I am so KILLING YOU!!!" Quickly readied with her mantis stance, Toph slides her right foot to the front, stomp it strongly on the ground as a piece of sharp cone-like boulder shoots up from the ground where Anthony stood.

"Popcorn, dear, if you keep doing the same trick over and over--" The teacher was left tongue-tied as he witnessed the child pulls her arms back, and with a swift cutting motion, almost like she's cutting a watermelon using her hand, Anthony could see pillars made of rock and dirt wildly shooting in and out of the ground.

And granted his speed can be compared to an injured one-legged tortoise...
"WAAAAA~!!!!"
And towards to his beloved tree yet again.

"STOP making me SO PISSED OFF!" Toph yelled in blind rage...literally. After a heave of sigh to calm herself, the girl then hangs her head down. "...How do you even kept up with him without bursting a nerve??" She said to Evan, referring to how obnoxious Anthony is.

[Evan]

Evan calmly watched the attack on Anthony, his straight face never changing as he looked back at the girl again. "Years and years of experience, Toph. We actually grew up together. He expects reactions, which is why I tend not to give him the satisfaction of any." Evan said calmly as he stood straight and still, keeping an eye on the girl and glancing at Anthony for only a moment.

"He's been a nuisance in all our days together." He said before turning away. "Do you want an escort back to the female dormitories or would you rather go back alone?" Evan asked, a bit concerned that Anthony might just try to follow her all the way to her room.

[Sven]

Toph's eyebrows wrinkled, cannot even believed that someone actually LIVES with this idiot and doesn't suffer insanity. "Are you serious??" She asked back, but feeling his heartbeat through the ground, she guessed the answer is pretty much obvious. "Wow. I wonder what you'd be like if you haven't even met him... You may turn out to be one happy-go-lucky guy." Her theory was then followed up by a short snicker.

Though, when Evan offered to escort her back, Toph misunderstood that thought of concern as an act of sympathy...which she totally despises. "I know I'm blind, but I'm not disabled. I don't need your sympathy." She stated as she walked pass by Evan with a grunt. "I'm fully capable of handling myself."

"WAIT!! I'll walk you home, popcorn~!!! You're so buttered and yummy!!" Anthony suddenly said as he fell back to the ground and amazingly on his feet too, as he ran to Toph's direction. "I'll protect the damsel~!! Come, sidekick!! Let's assist her on her quest to her bed~!!" He said, grabbing Evan on the way.

Toph now attempts on Evan's advice, to not show any reactions, merely clogging her ears with her fingers. "I'm not listening, I'm not listening~" ...Mostly to avoid loosing all her energy before even reaching the dorms.

[Evan]

Evan took hold of Anthony's arm as he was being pulled and stopped suddenly, flipping Anthony over and onto the ground again. "You are not permitted to enter the female dormitories." Evan said coldly to Anthony before stepping over him and walking a bit to Toph's side.

"I did not mean to imply that you would need assistance. I'm certain you're very capable of handling yourself, as you've already shown. I was merely offering, if you wished." He stopped and turned back to face Anthony.

"However, it may be more helpful if I simply remove this buffoon a great distance from you." He paused a moment before looking back at Toph. "Have a good evening, Toph. Since it is getting dark now, be careful. However, there shouldn't be anything dangerous this close to the school buildings." He finished before walking over to Anthony and grabbing the collar of his shirt tightly, lifting him up and flipping him onto his back with ease and beginning to walk away.

[Sven]

Toph removed her fingers as Evan walked by her, and listened, though she doesn't show it. Truthfully, she doesn't like people escorting her, it made her feel confined, which doesn't suits Toph's nature at all. Though, she does like the teacher's idea to get that other weird one as far away from her as possible. "Yeah, you do that, and stop worrying about me. Thanks." She held her hand in a wave without even turning to look at Evan, and dissapears within sight.

"Ne, ne, Eviekins. I think I can't breathe right now." Anthony spoke, his voice sounded rather fine than the supposed choking out-of-breath one. And with that, he raised his arms, took hold of Evan's hand that's holding his shirt collar, and rips his own collar, right at the same time as he catapult himself off of Evan.

Aaaand, here goes his Anthony-gay-mode...

"NOW I can breathe~!" He attacked Evan with a hug from the bag...though he actually looked like a child who had lost his mother and just wants to hug somebody. He wouldn't let the poor man go though, just merely walking with him while hugging.....like a strange mentally-sick bastard he is.

[Evan]

Feeling the collar torn now, Evan let go, walking straight and tall as the obnoxious teacher latched onto him in a clinging hug. Evan moved his arm around, grabbing hold of Anthony's shoulder and pried him off, moving him away to the side.

Without a word, Evan continued walking tall, face and body completely straight and unaffected.
