Chapter 1 "Waking up in Vegas"
It was an ordinary day at work for Iku when she sat down at her desk. Her life has been a complete bore as of late. No relationships, no drama, just the way she liked it. The only thing was she had her room mate, Ayame, who was quite the noisemaker she would say. To her that was considered a peaceful life. She sat down at her desk starting up her computer sipping her coffee. Boy did Iku enjoy her morning coffee. If there wernt coffee, Iku wouldn't be able to wake up in the day. Yes, she's always been attracted to staying up late, even though her work requires her to wake up early. Plus with her room mate always creating a fuss in the middle of the night who could sleep anyways? Suddenly Iku's morning thoughts were interrupted by her boss coming up to her. Her boss was a nice person but had a wired way of running thing.
"Working hard as ever i see" Said the lady. Iku just nodded because she was still waking up.
"Well, I have a new assignment for you" She continued
Iku turned to her blankly. A new assignment? She always had the craziest idea's so when she had new assignments. They never really in the normal category. "And what could that be" She replied.
"We have a new employee, who should be coming here in a few minutes, I want you to train him"
Iku sweat dropped. She hired another guy. Which spelled trouble, because 1. Men are impossible to teach, 2. Every guy she picked seemed to be eye candy for her. She never knew it, but she was always caught starring down the guys she hired. "Sounds easy enough" she replied.
"Good, He suppose to report to room 12, so why don't you wait for him there"
Iku nodded. Hopefully she's learned her lesson and hired a guy that ACTUALLY WANTS to work here and is willing to learn. Iku knew one thing, She wasn't about to go easy on the guy. Iku grabbed her folder and headed to wards room 12. She really wasn't up to training any one today. She actually wanted her normal schedule today. But oh well, No one else can seem to train anyone. As she entered the room she noticed a man. He had brown hair and brown eyes, he was sitting on the desk waiting for someone. Iku raised his eyebrows, 'this is the guy she hired?' she thought to herself.
The man stood up straight walking to wards Iku. He had a smirk on his face, Iku could tell he was one of those types of men. Though she had to admit he was good looking, but for some reason she had a bad feeling about this guy. and those bad feelings were usually true.
"hi, My name is Tyr Ryujin" he smirked. The next thing she knew Tyr had reached down and kissed her hand. For a second she was confused, and she could feel the blood rushing to wards her checks. Thats when she snatched back her hand.
"Iku" she said as she then took the paperwork to wards the desk. "And we'll have none of that, this is a business" She grumbled slamming the paper work on her desk. She already knew from that moment that this was going to be a LONG day. She then let out a sigh preparing herself.
"Tyr was it?" She asked pulling out a few pieces of paper that he needed to sign. Just as she turned to wards him he was starring intently. She paused for a second raising an eyebrow at him.
"You've got the most beautiful eyes I've ever seen" he said. she blushed for a second. Did he just say what she thought he just said? Quickly snapping out of it she then slammed the papers on the desk.
"Getting back to work" she growled "Sign here, here and here" she said pointing out the spots where he needed to sign.
"If you wanted my number, all you had to do was ask" she said playfully. For some reason he got kick out of flirting with her. It wasn't a lie either, She really had some killer eyes, None like he'd seen before.
"Mr. Tyr, can we PLEASE get focused here" she said a bit flustered. Yep, he was just like EVERY other guy she had to train before. Annoyingly Flirtatious...
"Ooh, I like it when you say my name like that" He said leaning over the desk whispering into her ear. That's it, Now he's done it. Iku pushed him away from her. Only 5 minutes and he's already acting like a hormonal dog in heat! Lets just say, He invaded her space. If she was the manager here she would fire him right here right now. But she couldn't, She didn't have that kinda power around here. Though it didn't seem like that shove didn't do much because He seemed to be coming back for more
"You're a feisty one, I like it" he chuckled. Thats when she grabbed the collar of his shirt. Glaring into his eyes, even though they were somewhat calm and gentle. She KNEW that he was devious and scheming ever single second.
"Listen you, You if you don't stop this non-" Iku was suddenly cut off by the fact that he had just kissed her.... and he continued to do so. First Iku felt as if she wasn't there. As though the world just seemed to disappeared... She had never felt that way before, so naturally, she invited the feeling and started to kiss back. But it didn't take long for her to snap out of it with a rage. She then slapped him off of her, oh if looks could kill he'd be dead by now. Iku couldn't stand another moment with him. That's when the manager decided to pop in and check up on things. Only to notice that Iku was furious.
"Iku!" yelled the manager interrupting whatever had happened. Iku suddenly snapped out of it. Great, now she's here, Iku knew she was going to yell at Iku for this guy was the flirty one, and she was one to be sweep ed off her feet easily. Iku unclenched her fist.
"You are dismissed for the day, You need to cool off, Go home and relax"
Iku sighed but she had no choice. Had she come any later, Iku would've killed him. She stormed out the room. Angry as can be. grabbed her coffee and her suitcase and left as ordered. As she was walking towards her car she cursed Tyr under her breath. It was only a few minutes later that Iku had walked into the door. 'Maybe I over reacted' She thought to herself. Iku knew she had a hate to wards men, she despised them, but that is there faults for being such jerks back and school. Iku wasn't gay, she knew that for a fact. She just preferred living without men. She sat down on the couch letting out a sigh, only to be bombarded by her room mate, Ayame.
"Iku! what are you doing home so early!"
"Bad day at work" she replied
"Oh? what happened"
"I'd rather not get into it"
"You know what you need?"
"What?"
"You need a vacation! Lets go to Vegas!"
"Why Vegas?"
"Because I'm 21 and I always wanted to go!"
"Fine Vegas it is" Iku sighed in defeat. There was no fighting Ayame once she had made up her mind. Plus with the day that Iku had, she didn't really feel like arguing with her.
"HOORAY!" yelled Ayame in excitement."Lets leave tom marrow!"
Iku just nodded her head. "Fine, but right now I feel like taking a nap"
And thats what She did. Iku stood up and walked to wards her room. She then landed on her bed. She really wished she could control her temper but cant really change the past now could she. It wasn't long until she was fast asleep. Guess Coffee didn't help her this time.

It was about 6pm when they arrived in Vegas. It took them all freaking day to get here. Who's bright idea was it to come here. Iku was a little annoyed and just wanted to go to the nearest bar. How would you feel if you were driving for hours stuck in a car with AYAME of all people. Jeez its no wonder she was single. She was gorgeous, but just way too hyper!
"OOOOOOOO" She said looking at all the different colored buildings. As the finally found a hotel room that was in their price range. Wasn't the best place, but it wasn't just a love shack either. Iku was glad that she could finally stretch and relax a bit. Though the thought of that guy just put her in a bad mood. As she laid there on the bed, starring at the ceiling, lost in though, she sighed.
"I'm going for a walk I'll be back in a few" Iku said as she stood up and walked out the door. Ayame didn't even have a chance to say a word because by the time she opened her mouth Iku was out the door.
'huh, I wonder if she's ok?' she thought to herself.
Iku wasn't ok, she almost lost her job because of that jerk! Iku was so lost in thought that She wasn't paying attention to where she was going. Thats when she bumped into someone.
"Oh my gosh, I'm sorry i wasn't paying atten..... oh its you!!!" she yelled realizing it was HIM!
Tyr stood up, brushing himself off. "Well, fancy meeting you here"
"WHY ARE YOU FOLLOWING ME!!!"
"Me? follow you? How do i know it wasn't you who followed me?"
"BECAUSE I HAVE NO INTEREST IN YOU!!"
"Oh thats not what I remember when I kissed you, As I recall you kissed back"
Iku froze, speachless.... She had no come back for that. She did kiss back yes
"thats.... uh....." Her checks turning red. "STAY AWAY FROM ME!" she yelled having no response. Iku was about to storm off again when Tyr had grabbed her hand.
"Now why would i do that, when you haven't answered me? I'm right huh?" He whispered in her ear. She really was the interesting type. He loved messing with her. She always over reacted, she was a ... challenge. And it turned him on. He couldn't help but flirt with her.
Iku pushed him away once more. "No your not right! You tricked me! Now just leave me be!" She yelled storming off.
'Ugh can you believe that guy!' she yelled in her head. It wasn't long before she ended up in a bar. Trying to relax, and drink him away!
"men" she grumbled to herself. She was guzzling down a beer. Ahhh A nice cold beer was good at this moment. Ordering one after another, It wasn't long before she was starting to loosen up. Or in other words, she was starting to get a bit tipsy. But that didn't stop her, she continued guzzling her beer. Hey, its Vegas right? Why not? Alcohol was the answer to stress relief. Or to Iku it was. Suddenly she felt the need to get up, but she was so tipsy that she couldn't even stand up strait. Thats when she fell into a stranger's arms. Guess who!
Yep, it was Tyr of all people. Iku just giggled, She wasn't there at all.
"Well hello there" Tyr smirked as he looked down to the giggling lady. "Mind having a drink with me?"
Iku only giggled pulling him in close, "You sure can" said the purely drunk Iku. Well this was a certain turn of events. Who knew that Iku would willingly INVITE him to drink with her. But then again she was drunk. Tyr then led Iku back to the bar and they drank the night away......
The next day......
Iku woke up with a throbbing headache. As she opened her eyes she was quickly blinded by the light. She then sat up as she went to close the curtain when she quickly noticed that she was .... naked? Iku's eye's widened as she then quickly pulled the blanket covering her chest. Thats when she quickly noticed that she wasn't alone in the bed, and that she was sleeping with none other than.... Tyr....
"EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEPPPPPPPPPPPPPP" she screamed as loud as she could, ripping the sheets on the bed, standing up. Iku who was in a frantic. It wasn't long before she noticed there was a ring on her finger. Not just any finger... but her marriage finger..... She let out another frantic yell. Waking Tyr up...
"What the hell woman!" he said sitting up with a throbbing headache.
"WHAT HAPPENED LAST NIGHT?!?!?!?!" Iku didnt care that he may have a headache. Hell she had a headache. A really bad one at that... but that didn't stop her. 1. She was laying naked in bed with a guy she totally despises. and 2 theres a ring around her fingers... and that small fact seems to scare her.
