Background:was a SOLDIER 1st Class from Gongs, under his superior officer Angela whom Zack obtained the Buster Sword from. Though laid back and a flirt, Zack follows a moral code of loyalty to his friends strives to protect people above all else and fighting those who have respect for life. While stationed in Mid gar, he meets and dated ******. Soon after he is sent, along with *****,********* and some other soldiers, to investigate reports of monsters causing disruptions in the vicinity of the Mt. Nobel Mao reactor. After Sephira's massacre of Nobelium's villagers, ***** and Zack are taken prisoner in the basement of the Shina Mansion and used as test subjects for Hook's Sephira "Clone" Project, an experiment designed to test Hook's Jenova Reunion Theory by injecting subjects with Jenova cells..However, after four years, Zack breaks out of his confinement and carries the incapacitated ***** with him during their escape. Zack's ability to escape from his imprisonment is due to the fact that he being an individual full of self-confidence, and, as a result, a strong will was unencumbered by the potentially negative side-effects of mako and had handled the treatment before when being infused with mako as part of the procedure to become a member of SOLDIER. He gives ***** some of his clothes and gets them transport to Midgar, where he hopes to become a mercenary. However, before arriving in Midgar, they are ambushed by Shinra soldiers and was almost killed but then ended up running for a couple yeas and now is here and wishes to stop running so he can settle down and live his life again...
