(This chapter is shorter than the last. Sorry about that. I'll try to make the next one longer though)
It had been two days since the two were in the forest. 'Two very long miserable days. If I have to spend one more second with her I'll, I-' she was cut off by Serenity. "Hey do you think that we will..." the girl continued as Kaouru wasn't listening, she was stuck in her own thoughts. "Hey...Kaoruuuu." the girl pestered "What?" Kaoru replied annoyed. "Well do you think we will get out of this forest soon?" "No. We are going deeper and that's how it should be... and don't call me by my name." she walked with her eyes shut "Then by what then?" Kaoru looked to her right while Serenity was on her left looking straight at her with a blank expression on her face "Just.. something else. Call me... Tanaka
" "Tanaka?" It was her name. It was the one her human mother gave her when she was sent to earth. It wasn't her real mother- of course not, but who would know otherwise right? It didn't matter anyway but she was stupid enough to slip her tounge and give her actual name in the first place. 'Hopefully this one can't read or doesn't like to. If she finds out I'm dead...'
"So Tanaka... why do we want to go deeper into the forest?"
Kaoru just ignored her. There was no reason good enough, not even the truth. Like she would tell her anyway. The information at what lies somewhere in that forest is disclosed to most people and shouldn't even be known to the people that inhabit this planet. It's not for them to know. If they obtained this information then surley another war would break out.
"Tanaka! Answer me! Why are we going deeper into the forest?" Her face was expressionless. "Because we are thats why." "Hey thats no reason" Serenity whined "It's reason enough. Now if you don't stop asking questions I am going to knock you out, pour honey all over you, tie you to a tree and let the bears have a feast of there own." Tanaka always seemed to be calm and rational, but there were certain things about certain people that bugged her. Serenity was one of them. They continued walking onward to their destination without speaking to each other. The forest had grown dark and merky in mere seconds- even though it wasn't night; it was noon. Everywhere one could look there was water. It had appeared that they arrived in a swampland. Tanaka looked down wherever she stepped as to not mess up her newly aquired clothing but of course something had to mess that up hadn't it. Serenity jumped into one of the slimy puddles and splashed Tanaka. She looked up at her compainion and scowled "YOU ARE SO DEA-" The reason why she couldn't finish threatining her compainion is because she felt her body sinking. As luck would have it when she looked at Serenity she was too shorter. "TANAKA HELP! HELP!" She yelled "If I can't help myself..." she squirrmed hoping to be set free "...what makes you think I can help you" Nothing was heard. She looked up to see if she was still there but only saw air bubbles in the ooze. "Just great" Being quite taller than Serenity it takes longer for her to sink. 'Whats the point?' she stopped struggling and just let it take her in, not knowing if it lead to her death.
Awoken from a terrible screech Tanaka quckly stood up from where she layed, but where she layed wasn't a place. It was completly black and isolated with no walls but just vast black space. 'Where the hell am I?' she asked herself although she could hear it echo as if she had accually said it, when in reality she thought it. "Welcome Tanaka. How do you like it here?" A meanacing voice from the vast darkness appeared. It was a guy with strang clothing that she wasn't use to. It seemed that he had no eyes, black hair and a blood red cape as well as spiked boots. "Who the f*** are you and where the h*** am I?"
Else where a peacully sleeping Serenity layed unconventually back at the forest. A fox had come and saw her. It walked slowly up to her and started licking her on the face. She slowly opened her eyes and quickly sat up after seeing the fox. "Aha! What a cute looking fox!!" She addmitted to herself with a big smile and picked up to hug it then cuddled it. "Your so cute..." she almost suffecated it "I think I'll call you Kishie!" The fox then found an opening out of her unbearing cuddles and jumped away from her grasp. She opened her hand and looked at it sadly "Hey wait don't go!!" she yelled for it, but it swift ran away. Serenity now had a pouty face on "Oooo.... Why does everyone I meet run awayfrom me?" she asked hersellf then got an idea "Wait a sec! That hadn't happened until that arrogant woman came threw these woods! It not my fault!" she concered herself with a big smile "she gave me the bad luck!" She then looked around and noticed that she wasn't around. "Tanaka!? Tanaka?!! Where are you?"
"Now, now. Is that anyway to greet your destroyer." He smirked. "Just answer my d*** question." He looked at her with pure malice. A small light from the tip of his finger was emitted. "Heh. Thats much better." he held the small flickering flame near his face. Tanaka was mortified but didn't show it. 'He has no eyes... what is he?' "I am Mintaka, and you my dear... are where you ussually are." Tanaka couldn't help but wear a confused expression at Mintaka's remark. "What do you mean?" she asked him in a indifferent tone. "I'm where I ussually am, am I? If your gonna talk then make some godd*** sense" He couldn't help but grin and chuckle at her response " You... are in you."
