DOTA is actually the name of the map in Warcraft III
and it's quite popular through the parts of EUROPE ASIA and at the US..
Getting Started
-In this map you will have to pick a hero of your choice depends on what the server's rule is if it is -ap (all pick) you should be able to pick at any side that you want but if it is -ar (all random) youll have your character automatically the default setting is team select here you cannot pick the hero from the other taverns.
The Hero
-After You had Chosen your hero you may buy his stuff from the shop near by or if you have insufficient gold you may need to fight and eliminate creeps or enemy heroes to gather enough money to buy stuff
The items
- There are 3 kinds of items the usable the stock and the quest items The Usable items are items that has abilties like the eul's scepter of divinity it has an ability to cast 6 typhoon. The stock items are items that has bonus to attributes while you keep them like the sacred relic it adds 60 to damage while you carry it. The quest items are items that has some requirements, it's like a raw that's all.
Build
-There are different builds for every charachter a crystal maiden need inteligence to boost up her damage so in order to strengthen her you need to buy inteligence booster items like the null talisman or Aghanims scepter. It is also important to look at the enemy's status before buying things like for example the crystal maiden's opponent is a strength type that has an ability to take her down in one stab. it is recomended to use vitality booster items so that the crystal maiden is not easily be killed.
