Race: Half-vampire, half-human [possible hybrid?]
Age: In her half-human state, she looks about 17 to 18 years old. (She lost count of her vampire years)
Class/Occupation: Mage / Sorceress
Background: Syani was found at the doorstep of her parents' most trusted friends, and she was raised as a normal baby. Though, when Syani reached her age when she can walk and talk, she was abducted by a woman to be placed as a new member of the large clan of female vampires. The clan is known as the worst group of vampires, as they have no respect for family, teamwork and other similar bonds. Some of them are even proud to say they're prostitutes.
But once the horrible clan realized Syani can't turn into a bat, and even deny to drink blood, the child was treated like dirt, and was made as a servant rather than a member. Standing on the lowest rank of vampires, she was constantly being made to clean the blood in their room after some unlucky man fell in their trap and also as a lab-rat for experimenting on why she's so different.
Their experiment eventually succeeds as 5-year-old Syani finally went crazy for blood...but only on particular nights. She can't remember what happened when she went wild on those times, though. Finally, a lone man entered the castle and purifies the whole area, killing the whole clan...except one, who has the blood of a human inside of her, Syani.
She was adopted by this nameless man, who turns out to be a monk, and was taught of the reasons of life. When the monk realizes she becomes a full blood-crazy vampire when full moon came, and even ate the monk's recently adopted son, he decided to block her throat from any blood entering by asking a shaman, who succeed on the task, but only if she will never untie the red cloth around her forehead.
Soon, the monk sent her off to Youkai High, to learn about herself and to attain control of her abilities. During her time there, an angel permanently purifies her from her lust for blood, making her finally gain full control of her own body. She transferred school as she ages and finally ends up here in Diabolic Domain to further her studies of her growing abilities.
Personality: Although Syani had lived with the female vampire clan for years, none of the horrible attitude of the vampires there was rubbed in her. Instead, her personality was based a lot by the friends she had made during her years in Youkai High and Kingdom of Ceires. Syani is like a bouncy, happy-go-lucky, curious child, although she could grasp a more mature trait when the time is right.
On the negative side, she's clueless to a fault and is also can be considered a jinx as whatever she did is bound to have a group of angry mob chasing her. When she is off-balance, she might switch to her childish mode; her way to express that she can't handle the situation head-on.
Basically, Syani possesses this strange charm that made her sweet and insane at the same time.
Weapons: Syani doesn't have any weapons, as her only weapon is her own mind and imagination.
Ability: Her strong affinity to the dark arts made her capable of creating slight illusions and such. She's very talented when it comes into potion-brewing and making charms, since she practices it a lot, thanks to her slow mastery speed.
She had once time-traveled before, though that was a lucky accomplishment, since she can't figure out how to do it again.
Syani is also gifted with the power to move things with her mind, or telekinesis. Though, that ability might prove to be a disadvantage as it reacted with her heart-beats, automatically making things blow up when her heart-beat is out of scale.
Strengths: Mentally, the half-vampire can learn fast, as she has interest in learning. Her creativity is also one of her trump cards, as she has the power to combine different types of potions to create new extraordinary things, and actually make use of it for her own personal gain. Physically, she's flexible and fast, maybe because of the immense running she has to put up to by getting chased a lot.
Weaknesses: Although Syani loves to learn, she is exceptionally slow to master something and it takes double her effort to be as the same mastery level as a normal student would normally study. She's also very sensitive when anybody touched her physically. The half-vampire is also known well for her 'fear' of mushyness, or over-sentimental moments.
