Name: Kaekeru Meigara

Age: Appears 18 (actually 295)
Class/Occupation: Warrior/hunter/Head of Clan
Background: Kaekeru was born into a respected pureblood vampire family about 300 years ago. He was brought up with strict rulings and teachings. His father has taught him strength and spells, his mother taught him how to respect women and to take care of his home when he left on his own. He admired both of his parents, no matter how strict or cruel they may have been at times, and did all he could to make them proud. Several years after he had left off on his own, he had gotten word of his family being attacked and murdered. He couldn't believe that his strong family could've fallen in battle. therefore, Kaekeru decided to go and investigate. He searched all over his childhood home for any sign of his family. Eventually finding his parents dead on the floor in the sitting room, staked through their hearts. Kaekeru's eyes widened as he quickly fled from the place, getting as far away as he could and beginning his travels to search for a home far away from that country. He wore his hood and cloak everyday, taking his hood down only at night. He barely slept except for a few times during the day when he had managed to find a dark place to curl up for a few hours. Eventually he had come across DD and decided it might be an interesting place to stay for a while.
Personality: Kaekeru is quiet and reserved. He usually has a rather mysterious appearance and will never or rarely approach someone. However, Kaekeru would never just ignore someone unless they had given him reason to. He will usually answer anyone's questions, but would never just come out and say anything unless asked or spoken to first. During the daylight, he will wear a white hood over his head along with his white cloak to protect his skin from the sun. It wouldn't kill him if it were exposed, but it would definately hurt like hell and eventually begin to burn. Kaekeru has a lot of sad memories so will often be seen on his own with a somewhat far off look in his eyes. He rarely smiles. Kaekeru, although almost seemingly cold most of the time, would rarely deny the request of a lady. He would try to be a gentlemen to almost any woman he meets. Although he may seem charming and polite to women, there is a darker side that might seep out on full moons or when he's starving for blood where he may end up trying to seduce the closest woman to him.
Weapon(s)/ Abilities: Kaekeru uses mostly magical abilities but has a sort of staff he can summon if needed that can take on many different weapon forms to fit the situation. There are many things he is able to do such as reading minds as he pleases or unlocking doors with his thoughts. Although his powers stretch all the way from mundane tasks to heavy energy blasts, he'll rarely use any of them unless he simply feels like using them or they are needed.
Strengths: Kaekeru has incredible mental control and, even if he were pissed off or deeply saddened, he would not allow it to show. He is not really easily disturbed by anything, really. Kaekeru has a mass of physical strength, speed and stamina that he usually keeps hidden.
Weaknesses: Falling in love and sunlight are Kaekeru's biggest weaknesses. Whenever Kaekeru feels something similar to that of love for a woman, he'll often have a harder time keeping his lustful darker self under control. If Kaekeru's skin is exposed to sunlight for more than a few minutes, he becomes weakened and will soon begin to feel a burning sensation all over. Kaekeru is also significantly weaker when he hasn't fed for a while.

Underneath his cloak, Kaekeru always wears his family's blood stone. Kind of like a family crest, it symbolizes what family he is from and would be recognized by other vampire families as to which family he belongs to. The blood stone is only worn by the head of the family and since Kaekeru's father, who was the head of his family, was killed, Kaekeru now wears it.
