((Technically, Syani didn't skipped class because she purposely lengthens her time to submit a schedule..... ...but that DOES count for skipping class, I assume. ^^; ))
A pair of golden eyes darted on the millions of every paragraphs, sentences, words and letters present in front of her. The half-vampire had stacked a a quarter of the library's stock of books on the huge table she uses.
With only her fingers and her telekenetic ability, she's able to scan the dozens of opened books, some on top of the other, some with colored pieces of papers as bookmarks, some even got circled with a thick red marker! Being herself, Syani hardly ever cares for rules, anyway...
With her hair tied in a messy bun and her childhood bandanna strapped around her head, the only half-vampire in Diabolic Domain is busy with her project. Since now she knows she's a half vampire, and the other half is believed to be human, she's been dying to know about her past...or her parents to be specific.
And that leads to a question in her head: "I may know half and half of my species...but what if I'm a mixture of something else?!"
Using her ability to sneak into the Students' Secret Data room, which she achieved years ago in Youkai High after so many close captures her official fan club: the angry mob, she had managed to attained each and every student's species...and had written it all on the only available paper she found at that time; a museum pamplet.
With that pamplet secured in her grip, she crossed each student's name after reading up on the available books about their species. She didn't even need a chair as the huge table is full of opened marked books and she constantly ran around the table to read up and take notes.
A pen behind her right ear, a red marker across her teeth and two different brand of mechanical pencils in her left hand, it's obvious the half-human teenager had placed so much effort into answering the earlier question echoing in her head.
Finally, Syani sat down after kicking off the books she stacked on a chair nearby. The pamplet in her right hand is filled with scribbles, and that instantly lights a thought in her head to buy a notebook later. After spitting out the marker and untangling her bunned hair, Syani ran a hand through her raven hair freely.
"Darnit! 60% of the students here are humans...and in that percentage are also half-humans. Others are angels...demons...part animals...robots....some are unknown... MAN, I really should do a table graph on this...."
She slopped the museum pamplet over her face, closing her eyes, "I even got the 'main' students' races printed in my head... Let's see... Iku Lee's a bat demon, Mitsuko's an angel, Thelma Mortousai's unknown but possibly human, Tyr Ryujin's a Shur'tugal...what the heck does it means again, Dragon something.... ...But I can't FIND the headmaster's! Augh..."
Her hands are filled with spots of red marks, her fourth finger[/font] ((I dunno what it's called. ^^; Forgive me)) a little bent after holding the pen and pencils for so long. With a loud sigh, Syani tried to sleep, too tired to lift the pamplet away from her face...
That is...until...
BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!
The half-vampire stood up with a start, the chair knocked backwards. With the pamplet stuck to her face, she quickly removed it and hastily brought out a little palm-sized...thing...on what looked close to a hole-less metal doughnut. Clicking the center piece, the beeping noise stops.
Several hushes could be heard from others, but Syani was completely focused into the object. Then, her eyes slowly widens and her mouth curves into a smile...then to a grin...then to a yell...
"A NEW VAMPIRE JUST ENROLLED!!!!!! AHAH!! HAHA!!!! I'M NOT ALONE AFTER ALL~!!! WHOO~!!!"
It seems that her hex-encrusted device she planted at the school's gate to check the species of new students that attend the domain finally detects the species she's been waiting her whole 300 years for...
The librarian was stomping furiously at the childish half-vampire, and Syani could only smiled reading the name of the just-approved character there, "Kaekeru...Meigara..."
Even after the librarian tapped Syani by the shoulder, the teenager's still has her eyes on her metal doughnut, "...Oh my gosh... a FULL vampire... ...I have gotta meet him one day..."[/font]
((Holy crap, I feel like a novel. XD Massive words and sentences kept appearing in my head when writing this... ...Even during watching Disgaea's game endings in Youtube. XD ANYONE is welcome, please~ ...IF you can put up with her madness., that is ^_^))
