Billy slowly entered into his mystical animals class, noticing he was the first one in there. He carried little Mandy in his arm, having left his scythe back in his room and took a seat near the front by the window, watching outside.
Mandy sat on his desk in front of him, remaining mostly quiet besides a few small noises here and there. One of the main reasons Billy took this class was in hope of finding out more about Mandy's species and how to take care of it. He wasn't even aware of it's name yet.
He had only carried Mandy around with him a short while, but she was already attached to him as though he was her mother and never really left his side.

It's been a while since Zeph entered the Mystical Animals class. With a blue fire-lizard in his arms, sleeping peacefully, the element-wielder took a step in class. For some reasons, he always arrives first in class, maybe punctuality is one of his main traits...
But as soon as he noticed this small child present in the class, he thought the kid might be the class teacher's little boy. Well...he thought that kid's a boy...but as soon as he saw there are no eyes exist in the child's eye-sockets, Zeph stopped dead, right across the table in front of Billy.
Blinking at the tuffs of brown hair coming out from his black cloak, the silver-haired can't help but to stare at him, wondering what the hell is he. It takes a moment for him to notice the creature on the child's table...again, staring skeptically, now towards Mandy.
Noticing he must've appear rather rude, Zeph quickly greeted with his faint voice, "Hello..."

Noticing, after a bit, that someone was staring at him, Billy stared right back at the boy with white hair, a bit confused, only speaking after greeted with a hello. "Hi." Billy said "You're in this class too I suppose? I'm Billy.... This is my friend Mandy. Who're you?" He said almost a bit quietly and slowly but still loud enough to be heard.
He had a sort of appearance on his skull face of a sad child who grew up never having friends. A reaper who refuses to reap whenever he can help it IS an outcast, after all. Reapers aren't suppose to be kind to creatures and humans, but Billy always questioned why and always hated that rule. He was too kind for a reaper and that's why he was always an outcast. In turn, his social skills weren't all that great especially when he might want them to be better when meeting new people. He'd had some rather awkward moments.

Sighing at this sad-faced boy, Zeph pulls up a chair and sat across his table, placing his sleeping blue fire-lizard on top of Billy's table slowly.
"Hi, Billy. I'm Zephel...and this is Ryo," he said almost gently to the boy, smiling slightly, "And don't worry. You're not the only one with social problems. I'm on the same boat."

"It's nice to meet you..." Billy said in the same way without any change in his face. He was happy, but he knew no way of showing it.
Little Mandy crawled over towards the little fire lizard, a curious look on her face as she lay down next to it and gently poked it a couple times.

Still staring at the boy, Zeph wondered if Billy is the youngest student in here, "I'm sorry I'm asking you this out of the sudden, Billy...but what are you?"
Ryo twitched a bit before curling his tail around its sleeping form after Mandy poked it. The fire-lizard's small movement attracted Zeph's attention, which made him stare at Mandy now, "And what is that?"

"I'm a reaper...." Billy said a bit quietly in his same small way. "Mandy is my friend.... I guess I took this class hoping to find what exactly...."
Mandy looked at the lizard still before rolling on her back and rolling from side to side like that, closing her eyes.

Nodding, Zeph replied, "I see. ...But the teachers are always late here, it's almost like a tradition. Maybe I can help you to look up about Mandy..."
Standing up, Zeph walked towards a rack of books at the side of the class, taking out one huge book and placing it on a table beside Billy's. Merely opening it takes the whole table space. Slowly, Zeph opened the pages, one by one, to search for any creature that looks similar to Mandy...

"Umm.... I could look faster...." Billy said a bit quietly, not wanting to push Zephel out of the way, merely requesting he let Billy try looking since he had a spell that can search the whole book in a matter of seconds.

Nodding at the reaper, Zeph motioned his hand to let Billy take a look at the humongous book. Zeph realized he's being overly nice to Billy, maybe its the fact because he's so timid and shy.

Billy moved over towards the book, placing his hands flat on it and closing his eyes, picturing Mandy's appearance while a sort of eye quickly shot through every page of the book. Billy moved his hands as a small burst of green smoke poofed open a page with a picture of a creature with uncanny resemblance to Mandy.
"Greul...." Billy said a bit quietly. "A young Greul is said bring good luck to anyone who shows them kindness, seeing them as their parent of sorts. They mostly like to eat bugs, but will usually eat anything their 'parent' gives to them. In short, Greuls tend to be loveable and friendly creatures so long as they don't feel like they or their 'parent' are being threatened in some way. These creatures are about as rare as they are kind. There are only so few born into the world every generation and barely three quarters of those Greuls ever find a mate. A female Greul becomes her child's first meal. Male Greuls tend to live for about thirty years and female Greuls about twenty-five if they never give birth. Greul's rarely grow much larger than the size of one human adult's head and a human child's head."
Billy looked over at Mandy a bit silently as he finished reading.

Zeph looked over to Mandy too as Billy finished reading the page, "Well, well. Very lucky of you to find a rare species as your 'child', Billy..."
He walked over to Billy's table and patted Ryo's little head to awake him. When it does, it yawned and purred, until finally gets up, stretching itself. Only after it saw Mandy there, it squawked in shock and jumped off the table in surprise...
Zeph chuckled at the sight after he caught Ryo from falling off, "Ryo, this is Mandy, a Greul. Say 'hi' to it."
Putting his fire-lizard back on the table, Ryo circled around Mandy carefully, eyeing it sharply.

Mandy was still laying on her back with her eyes closed, rocking from side to side as that's how she would always sleep.
Billy just remained there, watching the two creatures on the table, thinking over what he read about Greuls in the book just now. 'She'll die within 23 years?' He thought a bit sadly to himself, as a reaper's life is pretty much never ending compared to those 25 years a Greul has.

Suddenly hearing a new voice in his head, Zeph quickly guessed he read somebody's thoughts again.
He puts an arm on top of Billy's head, just over his dark hood, "Don't worry. At least you know it's a female. So, she can reproduce, right? ...Though she might die withing the wrath of her child..."
This is pretty much why he wasn't into socializing. He might hurt somebody's feelings with his sarcastic remarks...

"But it wouldn't be Mandy...." The young reaper said quietly, almost a bit sadly. "Even then, there's only so many Greuls so it'll probably be very hard to find a male anyway...."
