Hey, so I noticed either I am technologically impaired (which I don't deny to being at times...) but the book section somehow got erased. Either way, nevermind about that, but if anyone likes or enjoys reading I was wondering if you would recommend any good novels out there, besides of the obvious "Harry potter", LOTR, Chronicles of Narnia, Series of Unfortunate Events?
I think my favourite book as of yet (and it's been 2 years since I first read it), it's called "Heaven Eyes" By: David Almond. It's an awesome story about orphaned teenagers who live in this prison-like orphan house in Britain, and one day a couple of them run away to explore the black black middens, a place where mud, clay and oil unite and hidden within the rubble of old factories lives a girl with webbed fingers and her grandfather that dies. Along the way they dig up a dead body preserved by the layers of dirt, they find out about the girl with the webbed fingers' family history and some even get reunited with the very parents that abandoned them at birth. An awesome novel that may have you crying or feeling sympathetic for the characters of the book. That's all I gotta say, so check it out! ^_^

Where the characters thrive for their love eventhough they're almost at the brink of their lives. just read it...

Awesome suggestions! Thanks dudes and dudettes. I have heard of both books, both Eragon, which I believe is part of an entire series and ties into dragon fanaticy? Haha and The Notebook- Gawd that is a tear jerker! Very beautiful and imagery-based indeed. Have you seen the movie based on the book? I must say amnesia is one of the worst old-age symptoms one can ever experience, that and the people that wished you could remember your past involving them. Either way, haha I'm definitely gonna check out those books a.s.a.p.

I would recommend Eragon and Eldest...I really like those books. I think that where I got Tyr's background I also took him from the Pern Series by Anne McCaffrey...those are great books too. My sister reads Tamora Pierce's books. I think they're about Females knights and such. I'm reading one now and it's pretty good!

I think that eragon and eldest are absolutley awesome books that should win some sort of reward. I also recemmend reading the entire Harry Potter series. The first four books might be a bit too boring, but once you get into books number 5 and 6, you will be so interested because they explain about harry's past, present, and future. It also goes int a lot more detail about other charcters

Well I think that the fourth harry potter book is the best. The fith one is too boring and the sixth..well. Alot about Herminoe and Ron. Alot of talking, although it is still good.

Well the quartets from Tamora Pierce are quite good. She is more of feminist writer, not that I'm complaining I really like her books, and I know you'll like them.
Look for: Song of the Lioness quartet The Immortals quartet Protector of the Small quartet

maybe it might get into Ron and Hermionne too much but from the middle on, you start to get the details and all that kind of stuff.

Tamora Pierce? I have never heard of her- I'll google it, thanks Tyr. As for the Harry Potter series, haha I found book 2 and 4 to be the best. The fifth one is a bit boring because of Umbridge's character, but nonetheless I agree Kankarou it does reveal a lot more about Harry's character.
I know this isn't really considered a "book" but more like a series or collection of illustrations and funny quotations. The Calvin and Hobbes series- any book is pretty decent schtuff, especially on a boring day- you just snuggle up and read... no effort at all because all you read are short sentences.
Poll: Who is better? a.) Calvin b.) Hobbes c.) Susie d.) Miss. Wormwood
