Syani blankly stared at Kaekeru, her head tilted a bit, when the vampire explained the things she just thought about. Strange, she didn't said it out loud, did she? That's when she remembered he's telepathic. "That's not fair. No mind-reading." Slightly pouting, she frowned at him, "...But thank you anyway. That eases my mind."
Then, when he said those mushy set of words again, cupping the side of her face and brushing back her hair like that, Syani stared at him with a brow raised, "You're waiting for me to say 'I love you too', aren't you? Well then, excuse me for not being a romantic person and always says things that can ruin sappy moments, BUUT...I love you too, Kaekeru. Just so you know."
When he moved in closer, Syani's spine automatically straightens in alarm as her face grows red. A few popping sounds could be heard, no doubt her telekinesis going wild again. Fortunately, Kaekeru paused mid-way, almost like letting her decide what she wanted to do. The half-vampire smiled at this, almost chuckling at his thoughtfulness. 'Ah well...I owed him anyway.'
Closing her eyes, she leans close and let her lips met his.

Kaekeru smiled somewhat to himself, fully happy with her response and, holding her close still, kissed her tenderly in return for a minute before carefully moving merely a couple inches away and smiling at her. His lips were closed in his smile and his eyes held some sort of deep joy along with a hint of sorrow behind it as he stared into hers. He closed his eyes after a moment and lowered his head again, still holding her close to him, carefully.
His body felt somewhat exhausted, for a number of reasons. Having been out in the sun for so long, even though he was under his cloak, the two interactions with people he didn't like, just releasing himself in this way to Syani right now, and not having fed for a few weeks. All this was beginning to take it's toll on him and he just sat there, his arms loosening their grip of Syani though still holding, his head still hanging with closed eyes though awake. He let out a soft sigh.

'Crap, crap, crap...mushy, mushy, mushy...' her second voice chanted as soon as Kaekeru moved away from the kiss. She never got used to that churning stomach feeling Kaekeru always managed to deliver, even with just a glance. Thank goodness she's sitting or she would've fall off now as the numbness had started yet again. But, as she returns Kaekeru's smile with her own and her eyes caught his...she noticed there's something amiss in his eyes...but he had already closed his eyes before she could make sure what exactly did she just detected.
That matter got shrugged off easily when Syani felt his grip loosening, "...Kaekeru?" she called, eyebrows creased, "Are...are you unwell?" Worry lingered in her voice as she put a hand on his forehead, "You're looking a bit pale..." Then out of pure concern moved back a bit to lean down and place her head on his chest, her ear near his heart. Usually, this action would strike her as mushy, but given the circumstances, the thought didn't even crossed her mind. "Oh no, your heart rate's decreasing..." she uttered.
"Right, then," she announced as soon as she sat back up, "I'm sick of being the damsel in distress today. I'm helping YOU out this time. But first..." she reached for her toes with both her hands and chanted something under her breath. A very slight glow could be seen emitting from inside her boots, then she let's go of her feet. Turning back to the vampire, she smiled, "Okay, my toes aren't blue anymore. Now, your turn. Tell me what"s wrong and I'll try to help."

Kaekeru grinned slightly, forcing his head up to smile at her, eyes not fully open. "Just a bit tired, dear..." He said softly as he brushed a hand along her cheek. "I'll be fine. Don't worry about me." He still smiled faintly at her, staring intently into her face almost as if memorizing it.
A moment later, as the sun was setting, Kaekeru's eyes grew wide, flashing red for a moment. He quickly released his arms from around Syani and covered his face, pushing his head back against the tree. His breath quickened as he tried to ignore the tempting smell of her blood. "Go back to the school." He muttered under his breath, trying not to sound agitated. He only wanted to keep her protected, that included from his suddenly ravaging thirst.

Syani gasped as Kaekeru acted so strangely, asking her to go back to the school. She dragged herself backwards as she stared at him worriedly, then slowly stood up to her feet. His sudden distant behavior reminded her the time back at the corridor near the Potions and Charms class. The sight of her blood made him ran off immediately...maybe this is the same thing...
"Kaekeru..." she whispered, barely audible. She thought hard and fast, calculating every possibility of every choices she could pick, ranging from escaping...to being dead. Her stare to the strugling vampire didn't help her being rational at all, as she slowly steps nearer to him. She's afraid...but she's not leaving him alone.
"...What happens...if I offer you my blood?"

Kaekeru let out a light chuckle from behind his hands, deep in his throat. "As tempting as that is, I dont intend to take away the half of you that's human unless you want to be turned completely." He said, forcing his speech to be as calm as he could manage to keep it.
"Please... Syani... Go back to the school. It'll be safer there." He said, still trying to stay calm. He breathed deeply through his hands as the moon began to take the sun's place over the horizon. It was full.

Syani blinked in surprise at his answer, now contemplating whether she should thank him or oppose the idea. Her head dropped low at his other sentence...safe, hah, as if that ever happend to her. She have some angry vampire spiritrs from her previous clan jinxing her life, her ever-faithful pack of angry mob chasing her since she was 12, two newly-recruited vampires that joined the 'killing-Syani' parade, and now this...
"...This has gone far enough," the half-vampire spoke persistently, "I want to HELP you, but the only way I could do that is by avoiding you when you're hurt the most... Great, thank you for pointing that out, that makes me feel VERY useful..." Maybe she hit her time of the month for suddenly snapping like that, or she doesn't notice the frighteningly bright full moon up there...or both.
Turning around and stomping off like he wanted her to, Syani's frustrated mood allowed a couple drops of tears leaking from her eyes, which she briskly wipe. Every step she took, is making her anger growing. Thankfully, her mind isn't fully clouded with aggravation. Her clutched fists slowly loosened as she tries to reason her way out of her annoyance. Kaekeru has a pretty solid reason for her to avoid him, and it's not his fault at all. She sighed as she started to feel guilty, slowing down her steps. Then, out of the blue, she remembered her World War book.
Blinking of that sudden remembrance, she turned around to look at tree, now noticing she's a good distance away. She didn't want to leave the book there, afraid if it gets wet by the rain. 'Wait...rain?' She chanced a look above, and sure enough, large deep-grey clouds have filled the sky, thought not enough to block her view of the moon up there... Her creased eyebrows shot up as soon as she noticed its full round shape... "...OH."

Kaekeru let out a small sigh as she walked away, guiltily listening to her thoughts as she fumed angrily at him then reasoned herself into guilt.
He grinned slightly, then looked down at the book she'd left. He picked it up and stood, his fangs out and eyes red. He was going to have to feed before the evening broke into morning. He looked over at Syani, seeing her look in his direction then look up.
Kaekeru swiftly ran over to her, stopping a few feet to the side and held the book out to her. "I love you. Now get going." He said as calmly as he could, glancing at her with his red eyes as he tried to force his starved fangs back inside. He waited for a moment for her to take the book from him, his body fully tensed and ready to speed off to avoid biting her.

Noticing Kaekeru running towards her, Syani wondered if she should run off or ask if he's alright. Her thoughts didn't contribute enough to control her body as she remained still, rooted to the ground, and waited for the vampire to approach her. The first thing she caught sight of when Kaeker comes near her is his bright red eyes. And her stare didn't falter one bit.
She revealed a small smile as he held out the large book to her. Then, she could see her own hands reaching out fro the book, gently took hold of the object but her arms just paused there. Her gaze at the vampire was long and soft, her eyes seeming to have a sort of faded look in them, "Kaekeru...I'm sorry..."
Then, unexpectedly, even to her, Syani stepped closer as she turns the position of her book so it's upright, pushed the book along with herself near Kaekeru till the book touched his chest, lift herself on her toes to deliver the now possibly deadly vampire a swift kiss, then a whisper, "I love you too." After one last look of his flaming red eyes, she dissappeared within sight, smoke replacing her faded form.
'No matter what fate had decided for our paths.'

Kaekeru's body tensed even more as she came closer. He seemed to hold his breath for a moment as she came even closer and kissed him. He longed so much not to be driven mad for blood as he was so he could respond appropriately.
He let out a breath as she disappeared, closing his eyes and calming himself. He glared at the moon with hatred in his eyes then sped off towards the town.
