Plucking another strawberry out of a vine, Syani slowly puts it in her mouth while reading the very last paragraph of the massive book she managed stole from the library, World War II. She had always been fascinated about history, whether it be about magic, vampires or humans...
With her lips red like blood, the half-vampire closed that thick book with a loud thump. She had been sitting in the middle of the strawberry field for quite a while, enjoying free snacks while reading that stolen book of her on the mass of red, pink and green all around.
Leaning herself with her arms bearing her weight behind her, Syani lift her head up and stared at the vast blue of sky above. Her gaze seemed to be almost emotionless as she watched the clouds go by. The strawberries that grows around her has long gone, symbolizing she must've been reading that book for hours.
She wasn't interested in wars very much, but that does count for knowledge about her adored species; the humans. She can't believe they used their intelligence on such a stupid reason; war. But she guessed it's almost like a necessity for their lives, since they believed peace and harmony will bloom through all the killing...
With all that violence and loathe clouded her mind, the raven-haired lass tries to search for the logic if another war was meant to happen to the world...
"If World War III is fought with atomic weapons... then World War IV will be fought with sticks. ...Dang, the two most comment elements in the world ARE hydrogen and stupidity!"
Finally, she lets her arm loose and falls on the field, her eyes still gazing at the sky, "...So much blood loss...on such stupidity. ...I wonder if I can still remember how blood tasted like..."

Kaekeru walked around, stopping as he noticed someone familiar in the strawberry fields. A somewhat interested look flashed in his eyes as he entered, walking over to Syani. He stood above her, looking down and said "Good afternoon, Lady Syani." before squatting next to her.
He reached his hand towards her lips to give a small wipe at what the strawberries had left around her lips. "When did you last taste it, my dear?" He asked in his usual polite tone as he licked from his fingers what he wiped off her lips.

Staring blankly at the sky, Syani's surprised to see somebody towers over her. She can't see who it is, since the sun sort of shines behind him....until she heard his voice.
Instantly, a few meters away from the two vampires, a small patch of strawberries exploded.
"G-good afternoon, Kae-kun!" obviously, she's loosing the battle...again. And the battle didn't even started yet! Noticing her emotions going out of control all over again, the raven-haired takes a deep breath to calm her mind...and just as she's doing so, the male vampire then squatted down beside her, wiping her lips and...licking on what seems to be the remaining strawberries that was on her mouth...
As expected, another thing blows up. Whenever he's near, Syani can't seem to stop exploding things to pieces, so she quickly sat up and silently focusing to answer his question instead.
"I...can't remember. ...I think it's before I hit my puber-- I mean, when I turned... 'mature'. Seriously though, I can't remember. ...I can't even remember what does it tasted like."[/color]

"Would you like a taste?" Kaekeru asked in his same polite tone as he placed a couple fingers under his chin to make sure she looked towards him.

Blinking, Syani has her eyebrows wrinkled, confused on what he meant.

"Of blood, my dear." He said, leaving his fingers as they were under her chin, a somewhat playful yet serious look on his face and in his eyes.

'Oh congrats Syani, you finally made him stop calling you a lady! Now he starts new hobby by calling you a wonderful 'MY DEAR' instead! Way to go, you dim-witted obtuse...way to go...'
It's not just Kaekeru, even her own thoughts seemed to enjoy teasing her.
Truth to be told, if Kaekeru wasn't her friend, Syani would've slapped him-- no, punched him right there on the nose for touching her like that. Maybe even smacking that World War II book square on his head. She's very sensitive when people touched her...especially a dude, a vampire to make it worst.
"A taste of...blood?" trying her best to ignore his fingers under her chin, Syani said almost quietly at him, like a whisper.
With her fingers scrunching the strawberry vines to avoid any emotions slipping out, the half-vampire then slowly backs away her head from him, resulting her whole upper body sloping to the back, her elbows on the soil, supporting herself from falling.
"Kae-kun, you don't know me when I drink blood. People said they can't recognize me when I do. They say it's almost like...I'm a full heartless vampire..."

Kaekeru's eyes held a somewhat coldness in them while a slight grin played on his lips and in his eyes as well. Kaekeru let his hand down as he still looked at her. "I grew up around thousands of blood thirsty vampires, Lady Syani. It would never bother me very much."
He sat back a bit and just watched her, sitting similarly to her.

Relieved he's backing off, Syani loosened her strength to support herself up and just let her body falls to the soft soil, staring at the sky again.
"I'm...sorry, if I hurt your feelings. ...It's just that...I really don't want people to die because of me anymore. You're different...'cause you're strong. It's hard for me to accept it, 'cause I'm dead weak. PLUS, I'm scared if everybody won't talk to me ever again..."
'...Especially you, I guess...'
She grabbed a handful of strawberry vines while lying on the ground, then tossed it over to Kaekeru, "And stop calling me a LADY!"[/color]

Kaekeru grinned slightly at her again. "I would never stop talking to you, my Dear, Lady Syani...." He said, hoping for an interesting reaction at the use of both together.

It takes a while for Syani to get his sentence to be absorbed inside her head, but when it does, she could feel her eye sockets tightening and her gut feeling funny...
BOOM! Another explosion occured a ways away.
Sitting up with a start, her shocked expression must be priceless to see; her widened eyes, her mouth shaping a perfect 'O' and her face fluhing red, obviously in embarassment...
"WH--?!! Did you just--? GAAAAAA!!!" quickly covering her face with her palms, another patch of strawberries exploded. She wanted to just reach for her transporting vial and just dissapear out of there...but that would mean running away from her fear again...
Letting herself fall off on the ground again, still having her palms covering her face, she spoke with her voice muffled under her hands, "...You've read my mind long LONG before I noticed, huh? .....Man, this is BY FAR the biggest embarassment I have ever experienced."
Letting her face go, she can see the blue sky again and feel the breeze of the wind blowing on her face, "...Bite me and drain all my blood out. Just kill me now..." She didn't even bother to retort back at him like she usually does about him calling her name formally, as she's too embarassed. Her face must've been so red that it might be similiar to the strawberries.

Kaekeru moved towards her, an amused look on his face as he went right up next to her, his lips near Syani's ear. "You know.... A vampire drinking of another vampire's blood will make that person have a very strong feeling for the person who drank, so long as they were left alive... And if I drank from you, Lady Syani, I certainly would not kill you..." He said in a quiet, low voice. Still somewhat in his polite tone as everything he says sounds polite in a way, but almost with somewhat of a darker hidden tone.
He eyes looked over to Syani's as he kept himself close a minute longer to see what she would do.

Well, simply said, the explosions can't stop occuring around them. A few booms to the left, a few booms to the right...
Gulping, Syani tried to find her voice to reply to him, "...Y-yes. I already read about that before.....though I was never really sure if it was true."
She intended to make her reply sounded more realistic...but it ended up sounded like she was flirting... Closing her eyes tight, she wanted to bite her tongue. She can feel her face flushing red at both her reply and the close distance between them.
She wanted to escape that time...but how is that even possible while lying down on the ground like that? Noticing she's out of balance...again, the half-vampire took a deep breath and exhale slowly, never opening her eyes. She could hear the booming finally stops, so she smiled to herself...
'Okay...everything is under control....I hope....'

'Is it?' Kaekeru responded to her telepathically after reading her thoughts, looking over to her closed eyes with an amused look in his and almost a slight grin on his face, still very close to her.

Still closing her eyes, her eyebrows twitched after hearing Kaekeru's voice in her mind.
'Of course! You're already so close to me physically, now get off of my mind! ...MAN, I gotta learn a blocking spell after this...'
