Staring at the infinite dark sky above her, Syani had her gaze quite fixed to the stars. After quite a time locking herself in her room, trying to mug up the Time-Traveling book she managed to stole from the library a few days ago, she figured that the book was too advanced for her to understand without a tutor.....and since this school only offers the basic of time-traveling, which is the Dream Controlling/Recalling and Astrology, Syani decided she would just close that book and start from the beginning...
Now, she's on the rooftop, maybe around midnight, after unsuccessfully asking Kieru to try her dinner. Her roommate wasn't really that talkative, so Syani tried to respect Kieru's need for silence by just leaving her alone for one night, climbing up on the rooftop, with only a pencil and a small new notebook as her companions.
She must've been sitting up there for hours, scribling on what seems to be some sort of poem. Stretching, she just realized that the moon is full tonight, something she was supposed to notice the first thing she got on the roof, but happened to miss when she got her head occupied on the poem she managed to wrote.
In fact, she wasn't any good with poems. It's just that staring at the deep black sky so much made her think so deeply about something, but in this case; someone. Sighing, she reads her poem again, her idle mingle of random words she wrote there travels out of her mouth...
"Don't care so much for me,
I may get used to it.
Don't come so near to me,
I may not be able to detach from it.
Don't touch me the way you do,
I may not be able to get over it.
Don't make me fall for you,
I may not be able to fall out of it."
Her voice sounded faint somehow when she reads that, and its only the first half of her poem. Her heart-beat suddenly throbbed faster, something she noticed but decided to just shrug it off and end her poem...
"Don't give me hope,
I may bring despair.
Don't put so much faith in me,
I may bring doubt.
Don't make me believe that everything is fine,
I may as well end up in a reverie, When in truth I'm walking in a nightmare.
Don't become a part of my future,
I may wind up destroying yours...
...Don't love me,
I may--"
She stopped her words because of the wind blowing strongly at the moment, making her hair dancing with the breeze. Feeling cold, she felt stupid for not bringing up her red cloak, shivering in her pair of purple sleeveless top and skirt.

Kaekeru had spent the earlier bit of night staking out a club downtown where he managed to find someone to feed on after having starved himself since the last fullmoon. He decided to sit up on the roof a bit, stopping just behind the door after opening it slightly as he heard Syani reciting a poem.
Kaekeru watched her as she spoke, noticing her getting a chill from a breeze. ""Please, do not ask me not to, my Dear." Kaekeru began in his polite tone as he entered, untying his cloak and draping it over Syani's shoulders, holding her from behind. "For I cannot stop myself from loving you." He added a bit quieter into her ear.

Syani's eyes widen as she clutched her notebook in shock, wrinkling it in the process. Kaekeru's voice is the least she wanted to hear right after she recited the poem that she wrote about him. In short, total embarassment.
She remembered the charm she created to stop herself from exploding anything, the one she wore around her neck, as a choker. Now that she knows no more atoms can break apart when her emotions are slipping around Kaekeru, she's happy that her charm worked well.
Noticing that recognizable cloak was put around her, she was about to turn around when she felt that familiar warmth embracing her from behind, hearing his reply in her ear...
Syani fell silent for a while, before slowly continuing her poem under her breath, "...Don't...love me... ...I may become afraid of you..."

Kaekeru remained silent a moment, letting Syani go and moving to the side, sitting on the edge to face her. "What is there to be afraid of, my Dear Syani?" He asked almost a bit quietly as he stared into her eyes, fighting any urges that may get out at this time.

Syani stared at him, the moonlight shines brightly above them made it easier for her to see his whole face. With his white hood that constantly shadows over his facial features, it's only NOW that she noticed him looking like some angel from heaven right now.
".....I........ I don't know. .....I think...I'm afraid of what will happen..."

"Of....." Syani finds it hard to mention it now that he asked. She stared at her crumpled poem, trying to search for the right words to answer...
"Of the future.... I'm destroying two futures at the same time when I'm being with you. ...Aren't you scared of that?"

Kaekeru stared at Syani a moment before slowly standing and moving his arms around her, holding her close and looking into her eyes. "I'm not afraid of anything." He said quietly and gently to her before carefully placing a soft kiss to her lips.

Hearing his words widen her eyes, but then she got attacked by a more bigger thing; his kiss. Any skin touch usually freaks her out, but now that he kissed her for the third time, she felt a sudden strange feeling inside her, like everything will be alright...
Her muscles relaxed a bit before she slowly kissed him back, placing her arms around his neck. It took her about a few second before slowly pulling back, her whole body shivering, "...If you're not afraid of anything......I gotta learn not to be afraid of anything too..."

"In your own time..." Kaekeru said quietly, smiling gently down at her. "Slowly, your fears may begin to melt away... Maybe even with my help." He added, wanting to kiss her again, and bringing his face somewhat close, leaving it up to her if she wanted a fourth kiss yet or not.

Syani gazed into Kaekeru's deep eyes, then she felt that feeling again. That weakness inside her. She expected this, so she knows what exactly will happen next, the numbness.
Her arms are still around Kaekeru's neck as he brings his face close, and the half-vampire could feel the warmth of his breath. Pulling out one arm from around Kaekeru, Syani gently places one quivering finger right on his lips, "Don't," she whispered.
Right on time, the numbness is starting inside her. Her legs seems to be the first that went out as she quickly holds her arms around Kaekeru's neck, avoiding herself to fall. Her vision also started blurring as her head kept dropping every time she tried keep it up.
"Those.....love taps you mentioned...are really starting...to get annoying... ...K-Kaekeru, I'm sorry... Tonight is the full moon again... a-and though I can't understand why, I'm really afraid of you on these nights...."
Syani tried to stand on her numb legs, and managed to do just that for a while, balancing her weight with her legs apart, "...But I'm trying to fight that fear..."
Slowly, she placed one shivering hand on Kaekeru's cheek, "...For you."

Kaekeru smiled gently down at Syani. "Many thanks, my Dear...." He said in a quiet and polite tone before reaching down to get a hold of her legs and picked her up so she wouldn't end up collapsing. "You don't have to be afraid." He added, holding her somewhat close as he watched her, that gentle smile still on his face.

Syani breathes through her mouth, her shoulders and chest rise and fall continuosly. Even when being lifted up, she found it very hard to speak through her mouth now, so she closes her eyes and tries to use her telepathy...
'Oh, I shouldn't...? Then, give me one good reason I shouldn't, Mister Meigara. I've lost my receptors THRICE with you, so yeah, I'm pretty much looking up for a great reason why I shouldn't be scared of you.'

Kaekeru chuckled lightly as he heard her thoughts, smiling amusingly at her. "Because, my Dear.... I promise I will never harm you." He said, his smile returning to a gentle and caring smile.

For a while, Syani looked almost like she's sleeping in his arms, until one of her fingers started twitching. Then, she blink open her eyes, seeming confused.
Hearing his answer, she felt a sudden surge inside her. She didn't know what it is, but it definitely stops the uncomfortable feeling she just had. Her receptors started working again as she slowly can feel his touch, and his warmth too.
"...Kae-kun. .....I think you just got my blood flowing inside my veins. My receptors are back...right after you said that."
She felt awkward. Too awkward. She decided to shrug that off to think about it later after getting lost in Kaekeru's warm smile, "Thank you... And...yeaaaah....you can put me down anytime now, Kae-kun."
