[Kieru]

"Well would you rather be on your feet than in my arms?" He asked in almost a sort of playful way as he still grinned at her.

[Zephel]

"Eh?" obviously, that made her face flushing red as she tries to avoid his eyes by going into her 'obtuse mode' yet again, "I....er....it's full moon! Yeah, its a full moon night! Aren't you supposed to go all ruby-eyed? I didn't even know what's wrong with you that time, so uh...should I avoid you or something?"[/color]

[Kieru]

"Do you want my eyes to turn red?" Kaekeru asked almost playfully, grinning as he leaned a bit closer to her.

[Zephel]

Okay, her 'obtuse mode' didn't work. In fact, it made things worst...at least, for her. She could feel her heartbeat thumping fast as Kaekeru leaned closer, "You can control it? W-well....you haven't told me what happened if it does..."

Her mind was screaming at her on how wrong that sounded coming out from her mouth, "I mean!! I-is it bad...?" 'Of COURSE it isn't bad, dummy! Why would he go all red-eyed at you if its bad??'

Right after that, Syani notices that grin on his lips, '.....Okay, that grin wasn't so convincing its safe... Good luck, dood.' The half-vampire gulped, hoping Kaekeru didn't hear the catfight between her and her mind, "I'm...almost afraid to ask...but...what happens when it does...?"

[Kieru]

Kaekeru still grinned at her as he leaned in closer to her ear. "I begin to lose control." He whispered, watching tenderly into her eyes. "I figured you wouldn't want that to happen. That's why I hold it back." He said, smiling gently at her.

[Zephel]

"Loose control?" her blush dissapeared, staring at Kaekeru with her eyes wide, "Loose control on what? 'Eating'...? ...Oh man, I caught you on a bad time that day, huh? ...Ah, stupid me, tonight's the same night!"

Syani tried to get off of his arms, but well, she can't really do that with Kaekeru leaning so close to her, "I'm really truly gateful you hold it back, I didn't know! I'm so sorry you have to force yourself to do so, Kae-kun! I'll leave immediately if you think it's not safe enough--"

She paused, stopping her words immediately. She remembered that Kaekeru's eyes turned red when he kissed her the first time, so it musn't be losing control on 'eating'...

"What...exactly DID you loose control on?"

[Kieru]

Kaekeru still watched her, smiling gently into her eyes. "It could mean losing control on anything. I don't want you to have to fear me at any time. You don't have to be afraid, because I wont let anything happen." Kaekeru said carefully to her, placing a kiss on her forehead. "I love you too much to allow that."

[Zephel]

"Losing control...on anything...?" Syani stared at Kaekeru in shock, 'So THAT'S why I'm so afraid of him... Dammit, this sixth-sense spell is creepily accurate.'

Receiving a kiss on the forehead again, and hearing his last sets of words, the half-vampire is only able to just gaze up in his eyes for a while...before slowly said, "Kaekeru...I know you're strong, but everybody has a limit... Sooner or later, you're going to loose control at some point, you can't hold it forever..."

With an encouraging smile, Syani lifted her hand and stroked his face lightly, "Like the first night I met you. You said you don't smile, and now look at you, you're smiling your way into my heart. So..."

Locking her arms around his neck, Syani pulled herself up and whispered quietly into his ear, "I love you as you are - as your charming, polite, creepily mushy self - and my feelings towards you are not going to change no matter how much you loose control."

[Kieru]

Kaekeru smiled and held Syani close to him. "I thank you, my dear..." He said quietly into her ear before placing another gentle kiss on her lips.

[Zephel]

After her rather mushy speech, Syani's smile dropped a bit as Kaekeru held her close. She didn't know if she wanted him to or not. She didn't even know if she's still afraid of him, afraid to get close, afraid to love...

There are so many things she has to consider; their future, her half-blood state, her anti-mushy reputation, Kaekeru's red-eyes issue, his clan's dignity being shattered, what the other vampires might think...

But as Kaekeru kissed her, everything on her mind dropped. In reflex her muscles tightened, so she figured her body is still not used to it...but her promise to Kaekeru on being stronger hold her together from falling apart. Slowly, the half-vampire closed her eyes and try to muster up all her numbing strength to kiss him back, still having her hands around his neck.

Right then and there, Syani realized something. All this time, she was so afraid before because she's too worried about the things she has to consider till she forgot one most important thing - her feelings.

'You care so much for me, now I'm used to it. You've come so near to me, now I can't detach from it. You've touched me the way you do, now I can't get over it. You've made me fall for you, now I can't fall out of it...'

[Kieru]

Kaekeru smiled slightly into the kiss, pulling away merely a few inches a moment later, smiling caringly down at her. "I love you... My dear... beautiful Syani." He said quietly to her in a tender, loving tone of voice.

[Zephel]

Syani merely got lost in his eyes...and his smile...and his kiss, everything basically. A part of herself wants to just slap herself for getting involved in such a mushy picture. And then, just as fate descended, like a feather slowly landing on the soil, the half-vampire finally remembered why she's not into mushiness in the first place...

"Uh...Kae-kun, I need to be on my feet now, thank you," with a rather guilty smile, her request sounded more like a plead, truthfully. Her eyes also darted away from his face, her whole complexion paled under the moonlight.

"I'm...not supposed to be here."
