Clover

[Kimiko]

"Wow! Hikaru-nii-san! A four leaf clover!" Eyuki exclaimed, smiling happily at Hikaru.

[Zephel]

"Yeah!! This is the first time I felt so lucky, y'know?? And I'm gonna call the song title I wrote for nii-san's girlfriend--"

DUSSHH!!!

With Zeph's fist on the growing bump on his head, Hikaru acted like there's no pain at all, "--Clover!"

With a vein throbbing at the side of his forehead, Zeph's right eyebrow twitched, obviously annoyed, "Why do you keep on SAYING that?!"

"Because it's true!"

DUSSHH!!

[Kimiko]

"Ani-ue has a girlfriend too? That's wonderful!" Eyuki said, smiling sweetly at them both.

[Zephel]

"I do NOT," Zeph snapped at them both, "We don't have feelings for each other, unlike this nutcase and his clueless girlfriend."

Hikaru's expression fell drastically when his brother mentioned that. He started looking down and reply a rather quiet, "...Y-yeah..."

[Kimiko]

Eyuki looked at Hikaru as he now seemed rather sad. "Hikaru-nii-san... Are you alright?" She asked in a somewhat concerned tone as she placed a hand on his arm.

[Zephel]

Noticing that his sister's concerned, Hikaru quickly lift back his smile and replied cheerfully, "What? ME?? Of COURSE, I am, I'm Hikaru, after all! Hahaha...!"

Zephel stared at his brother, not about to use his telepathy just yet, in case Hikaru wants to talk to him, "...Hikaru, I think you need to speak the truth to your sister."

Hikaru fell silent after hearing Zeph's tone, though his smile is still present, "W-what are you talking about? I never--"

He turned to Eyuki, and seeing her worried look made Hikaru sweatdropped, "Eh... I mean...." Then, out of defeat, he dropped his head low, "Okay, fine, you got me."

[Kimiko]

"Hikaru-nii-san...." Eyuki said quietly, looking concerned at her brother. "What happened?"

[Zephel]

Hikaru sighed at Eyuki, he can never resist her eyes. Putting an arm around Eyuki, he turned her around so they both have their backs facing Zeph, whispering, "Well...Yuki-chan... I have girl-problems, and I'm kinda too embarassed to say it to nii-san..."

"I heard that. ...And for that, I'll leave you two alone now," Zephel leaps off from the edge of the stage and walks far towards the door, exiting the auditorium and leaned on the wall beside the door outside. Truthfully, its very rare of him to show that he's being understanding...but, he thought this one's an exception.

[Kimiko]

Eyuki looked back as Zephel left then looked back over to Hikaru. "Well... What is it, Hikaru-nii-san?" She asked again a bit quietly, trying to be sympathetic even if she couldn't understand what was troubling him.

Kimiko was walking around the campus for no reason in particular, just letting her mind wandering, not paying attention to where she was going.

Her head was partially hanging down, so she didn't notice when she turned the next corner that Zephel was standing nearby outside the auditorium door until she glanced up as she was already almost right next to him.

Kimiko's cheeks went a light shade of pink. "Zephi-kun! H...Hi! What are you doing here?" She asked almost on impulse, trying not to seem like she felt as incredibly awkward as she actually did at that moment.

[Zephel]

Noticing that his brother had left them some very much needed privacy, Hikaru blinked at the floor for a few second. It's been a while since he talked to somebody about hiw own problems...especially to his sister...but he's guessing he needed to talk to somebody before he explodes...

"Um... Yuki-chan... you know Kimiko-chan, right?"

Seeing Kimiko just walked near to him looking so glum like that made Zephel blinked at her a few times, counting the seconds till she noticed him standing there. Though, after she did, Zeph sighed...

"That's a full 30 seconds, took you 29 seconds late than your usual hyper self. A definite bother in your mind...just like Hikaru."

He didn't even bother to answer her question, instead he asked her a question, "Did something happened between you and Hikaru?"

[Kimiko]

"I met her briefly that day when we were all transported to the hotsprings... Why?" Eyuki said and asked in a sweet caring tone.

Kimiko's cheeks went a bright pink as soon as Hikaru's name was mentioned and her eyes shifted down with a look of shame on her face.

"W...Well...... Hi......Hika-chan...... He told me..... That he loved me..... and.... Well I told him I do like him, but..... I also..... think I like.........." Kimiko started, having begun willing to tell Zephel but then suddenly a mass of embarrassment overcame her. Her thoughts finished her sentence after a moment with 'you....'.

[Zephel]

"Well....Yuki-chan....I really like her. I mean, I like her BEYOND anything else! And....I told her about...but she..." Hikaru had his eyes trailing down at his shoes, biting his lower lip in confusion, "...But she sort of likes this...other guy. And this....other guy is somebody I highly respects....so I don't know what to do."[/b][/font]

Zeph blinked curiously at the cat girl when she slowly started to reveal her reason. Leaning with his arms crossed like that, Zeph waited patiently for her to finish her entire sentence...until he heard her last word in her thoughts...

His half-closed bored eyes grew wide and his crossed arms fell. Sure he expected something big is happening, but this is the least of what he expected! The only girl Hikaru happened to like, likes Zeph too?!

Zephel didn't say anything at first, though his expression kind of said everything. Gaining back his calm composure by taking a deep inhale and sighs slowly, Zeph calmly asked Kimiko, "You...are a very weird girl, you know that? ...Now you just dragged me in this ludicrous relationship you two created out of chaos..."

After that rather sarcastic reply, the silver-haired slowly leaned to Kimiko's eye-level, still with that bored look in his eyes, "Kimiko...I think you're confused between 'love' and 'like' here. ...'Like' is when you admired somebody you really look up to, like Hikaru's respect towards me. ...'Love' is when you feel you're the luckiest person in the world to be with somebody truly special in your heart, like Hikaru to you. Do you understand?"

[Kimiko]

"Maybe she just needs time to think. It may have been rather sudden to her? How long have you known her, Hikaru-nii-san?" Eyuki said and asked sweetly still, placing an arm on Hikaru's arm caringly.

Kimiko looked up at Zephel as he leaned to her eye level, still blushing with a slight pout. She lowered her head again as he finished talking. 'No...' She thought, "I guess..." She said a moment later, staring almost sadly at the ground.

[Zephel]

Hikaru tried to recall, "More than a month, I think... But you're right, Yuki-chan. ...Maybe its too sudden for her."

Smiling, Hikaru hugged Kimiko tightly, "Thank you, Yuki-chan. I feel a LOT better now that I talk about it."

With a sigh hearing both her different replies, Zeph places both his hands on Kimiko's shoulder and give a quick kiss at her forehead...

"There. Now, differentiate that feeling with Hikaru's kiss and see the difference."

And with that, he left her, walking inside the auditorium, silently hoping that worked...

[Kimiko]

Eyuki smiled sweetly at Hikaru. "Anytime, nii-san." She said sweetly.

Kimiko looked up at Zephel with an almost saddened look at Zephel after her kissed her forehead, still unsure what to think, standing outside and trying to think as she lowered her head and fell somewhat to her knees, covering her mouth with her hand as her eyes sort of began to water, cheeks only slightly pink now. 'Hika-chan!' Kimiko called somewhat in her head, almost wishing he would appear so she could talk to him, not yet knowing he was in the auditorium Zephel had just entered.

'Hika-chan! I'm sorry!' She called in her head again as her breathing seemed to get a bit heavy with sighs as she tried not to make any sound as she cried a little bit.
