Kimiko charged out to the grasslands, full of morning energy at 10 in the morning. She ran in circles and multiple shapes, running over a mass of the grassy area before collapsing finally after about an hour of running around between all fours and just two feet.
She lay down on the grass, breathing heavily as she stared at the clouds in the sky... Rather cloudy day, but didn't smell like it would rain today.
Kimiko let her eyes closed as she breathed, slowly beginning to calm down as she fell into a short cat nap.

Equipped with a pen and an ordinary notebook, Hikaru breathed in deeply to smell that fresh grassy scent. He was planning to go to the cliff, or the forest, or any other places where there are trees around, so he can enjoy the greeneries and write his upcoming lyrics for Zeph...or just a plain poem would be lovely.
But then, he thought of Kimiko. Embarassed to face her again after that incident at the hot spring where he accidentally 'touched' her, Hikaru changed his mind and avoid places with trees around, in fear to see Kimiko sleeping on top of it.
So now, he gaily walked through the grasslands, where there's only grass and grass and more grass. Though he has no idea where he's gonna lean now to write since there's no trees around...
That is, until he saw that familliar pink clothed figure on the grass, who seems to be sleeping with her backside facing him. Eyes widening, Hikaru prepared to turn back for a sprint, until he heard that familliar voice in his head...
'Hikaru, if you DARE try to run away from your heart again, you'll never solve your confusion. So, FACE IT. ...At least try to face it. ...For her.'
Hikaru looked around, no silver-haired brothers near. ...But Zeph does have a point there. So the redhead slowly made his way towards Kimiko and sat right in front of her, as she's sleeping on her side.
Slowly opening his blank notebook, Hikaru clicked his black pen and starts to draw the sleeping Kimiko, blushing slightly while doing so...
'...I dunno how I ever gonna apologize to her, but...I hope a simple sketch of her would make her happy.....'

Kimiko's ears twitched slightly a few times, though she remained asleep a short while longer before slowly blinking her eyes open. The first thing she noticed was that someone was sitting there, but when she looked up to see her it was, her face went somewhat reddish.
"Hi....Hika-chan?" She sort of questioned as she quickly sat up, holding an arm up over her chest, the other one on the ground where she had been lying. "W...What are you doing?" She asked almost a bit quietly as she watched him.

"Morning, Kimiko-chan!" Hikaru greeted, finally able to get back to his previous cheerful nature after a moment of sketching. Noticing one of her hands on top of her chest, Hikaru went a little red, but then quickly tries to trick himself...
"A-anou, Kimiko-chan! Here!! I tried to draw you but...since I've nothing to smooth to draw it on, the lines are kinda wriggly.... Sorry..."
Then he showed Kimiko his blank notebook, with a picture of a rather...squiggly Kimiko, "I... I'll try to color it in Visual Arts class after this! ...If you like."

Kimiko looked at the drawing, her cheeks going even a slight bit redder. "I....It's... Fine..." Kimiko said a bit quietly, looking back up at Hikaru again.

Hikaru blinked at her once before putting his notebook down, his eyes following his hands' motion, "Umm... Kimiko-chan... I... I'm... ...Zephel-nii-san said we both need to talk."

Hikaru had his face extremely red, still looking down in embarassment, "W-well... Hikaru gulped, not pretty sure of what's happening himself. Closing his eyes, he did exactly as Zeph told him to do; listen to his heart.
"Kimiko-chan!! I.... I think I like you! ...I mean...maybe more than that!" he unexpectedly grabbed both of Kimiko's hand , and turned his attention right towards Kimiko's eyes, yelling, "I... I LOVE YOU!!"

Kimiko's face went a bright red as she looked at Hikaru who was now holding her hands and yelling at her that he loved her. Kimiko didn't quite understand right away exactly what he meant by that, herself unable to respond for a bit.
"Hi...........Hi........Hika-chan......" Kimiko said rather quietly, blushing still, practically unable to speak, her throat feeling rather dry, feeling rather surprised by his words.

Hikaru is as red as Kimiko is, still gazing in her eyes, determined. He didn't seem to notice how long he's holding Kimiko's hands...
"I... I'm sorry, but I really need you to know that! ...I mean, you're kind, you're joyful, you're cute..... I... I can't lie to my heart at all! Even nii-san noticed it! So..." he stopped, unable to continue, embarassed of what just escaped his mouth...

"I....." Kimiko began after a moment, blushing a deep shade of red, her eyes then travelling down before shyly looking back in his. "I.... l......like you too....." She said quietly, unable to say anything else, finding it hard enough to say just that.
"I.......... I really..... like you.... Hika-chan...." She said quietly again after a moment, blushing red as she looked at him.

Hikaru's eyes are as wide as saucers as he heard what Kimiko just said. Slowly, his mouth forms a smile, then to a grin, "Kimiko-chan! I... I can't tell you how happy I am!!!"
Letting go of Kimiko's hands, Hikaru quickly leans over and hugs her tightly, smiling wide over her shoulder, "Thank you so much, Kimiko-chan.... Thank you... I thought you'd hate me forever when that...incident happened..."

Kimiko didn't hug back when Hikaru hugged her, she sort of looked down over his shoulder, still blushing. "Hi....Hika-chan..." She began, placing a her hands between them to push herself back a bit out of the hug. "It.... Not only that...."
Kimiko looked down, pulling her hands back to herself as she sat back. "I...... I really like you, Hika-chan, but..... But I......" Kimiko began again, looking back up at Hikaru. "I... also like....." Her cheeks went a bit redder as she looked down again, a rather worried look on her face. "I.... I'm sorry, Hika-chan...." She said, not wanting to hurt him with her confusion.
"I really like you.... I like you both..... I don't know what to think...." she said, still staring at the ground, blushing with that incredibly worried look.

Firstly, Hikaru's surprised that Kimiko broke his hug so suddenly. Though in shock, he listens to her intently, Hikaru's face dropped completely as he heard the last part, his eyes wide...and a bit glistening...
"Both...? ...Wh...what do you mean, Kimiko-chan?"

Kimiko still blushed red with a worried look at the ground. "I also like...... Zephie-kun...." She finished rather quietly, not able to look up at Hikaru after saying that.
