Hikaru felt like his whole body shattered into pieces. His most admired person is the same person his loved one likes. The redhead can't help but to gape at her in shock, "W...w-what?? Nii-san?! MY nii-san??? ...But...why??"

Hikaru stared at her unbelievably. This is the least of what he expected to turn out...
Hikaru also looked down after a while, trying to figure when did Zeph talked to Kimiko, "...I understand, Kimiko-chan. ...But have you tell nii-san that you liked him?"

Kimiko looked up at Hikaru a moment before looking down again, that worried blush still on her face. "N...No..." She said a bit quietly.

'That's what I thought...'
Hikaru's face was completely blank now; no sadness, no happiness, just nothing. His eyes are empty as he stared down at the grass, "...I guess...I can't change your heart, Kimiko-chan....."
There was a moment of silent, almost to a depressing state of pure silent. This is probably Hikaru's first time that he actually got hurt. Zeph's hits before never hurts as much as this, so the redhead gulped and finally lifts up his hanging head and stared towards Kimiko, "Are.... Are you going to tell him?"

"I....Don't know..." Kimiko said a bit quietly, still looking down. She hated that this was hurting Hikaru but she didn't want to not tell him. Kimiko looked back up at Hikaru, a worried look in her eyes. "I'm sorry, Hika-chan!" She exclaimed, holding her arms in front of her chest like before then looking back down again.

Hikaru's sad, alright, maybe beyond sad. But seeing KImiko looking so worried like that made him realized that it's selfish of him to show her that he's sad, so he clenched his right fist, and unexpectedly, punched himself in the face.
After that rather shocking moment, Hikaru had his head hanging low, his eyes closed, releasing a deep long sigh. Then, all of a sudden, he lifted his head back up, facing Kimiko what that same cheerful smile of his, complete with his eyes closed tight...
"Why are you apologizing? You haven't done anything wrong! Nii-san said our hearts have the power to do anything, so it's not your fault you fell in love with him...! ...Plus, I think I understand why. He's better than me in every singly thing! He's cooler, and stronger, and smarter...and I gotta say, he's more good-looking."
Hikaru's great in these section - beating himself up, just to lift somebody's smile. The redhead then grinned widely at Kimiko, "Don't worry! I'll help you in any way I can...!"

Kimiko watched Hikaru as he spoke, her eyes becoming moist as she felt near about to cry. Hika-chan!" She exclaimed after he finished, moving forward quickly and wrapping her arms around his neck, burrying her face into his shoulder as she couldn't stand seeing him force himself to try to be happy, herself feeling horrible about her confusions because she knew she'd hurt her friend.

Still with that cheerful smile and his eyes tight, Hikaru didn't move a muscle as Kimiko hugged him, his expression stayed the same on her shoulder. There wasn't any trace of red or pink on his face too, as he just smile all the way...
"There, there, Kimiko-chan. Don't feel sad," Hikaru slowly moved his arms and patted Kimiko's back, his smile is still present, "You know, let's both talk to nii-san. He can clear things up easy!"
Though with his smile, one drop of tear rolled down Hikaru's cheek, and dropped on Kimiko's shoulder. Only one drop, then there's nothing more in his squinted eyes.

"Hi...... Hika-chan......" Kimiko uttered quietly in a sad muffled voice into his shoulder. "I'm so confused..... I never...... thought about any of this.... until.......... but..... I don't know what to think.... I really like you, but I like him too..... I don't know what to think..... but I hate that Hika-chan is sad..... I hate this......" She uttered into his shoulder rather slowly and quietly as a few tears fell into his clothes as she held tightly onto him, her own heart almost feeling as if it were burning because of what she was saying to him.

Hikaru continued patting Kimiko on the back, his smile getting smaller and smaller until finally it dissapears, "Kimiko-chan..."
"I..... I'm sorry...that I, that we BOTH...made you so hurt like this... I never meant to make you sad. And I don't think nii-san is too. .....It's just that.... ......Kimiko, I'm so sorry I'm making you cry so much......"
Hikaru stayed quiet after that, patting Kimiko with that blank look on his face, "...Please stop, Kimiko-chan.... Please don't cry anymore..... I can't forgive myself for this..."

"Hika-chan..." Kimiko began, pushing herself back to look at Hikaru. "You didn't do anything wrong..... I'm the stupid one that's so confused..." She looked down a moment before standing up and wiping her eyes with the backs of her hands. "I'm sorry, Hika-chan!" She shouted then turned and began to run away from him as fast as she could on two legs off towards the woods or just any place she could get lost in and punish herself for the pain she brought to Hikaru.
