Halloween Masquerade ball

[Kieru]

Kaekeru just chuckled lightly as he followed her, getting interrupted by a boy with red hair. Kaekeru's face dropped somewhat as he looked at the boy a moment. He lifted a hand, patting Hikaru on the head as he walked around him. "Nothing for me, thank you." He said and continued to Syani, putting an arm around her shoulder to keep her from walking into a shelf on the wall. "Careful." He said with a playful and kind smile at her.

He let his hand glide down her arm til he reached hers and took her hand in his, leading her out to the dance floor. "If you trust me to lead you, I'm sure you'll do just fine." He said, smiling at her as he carefully took her other hand as well.

[Kimiko]

"Hika-chaaan!!" A familiar voice called across the room as Kimiko ran over to him, prepared to glomp him, but stopped merely inches away from hitting his tray. she smiled brightly at Hikaru, looking at his costume a moment. "Hi!" She said, overly excited.

Kimiko was dressed in a long pink Kimono. She had a tail hanging out from behind and a sort of extra attachment to make her ears look a bit larger. She held a matching pink fan in one hand and had a sparkely pink barret in her hair.

[Zephel]

"No, no!" Clearly alarmed he's pulling her to the dance floor, Syani continuously shook her head, I mean, of course I trust you, b-but dancing is something I really REALLY can't do, even WITH someone leading me! Seriously, I'm wearing deadly high heels now, and they could pierce right through your toes! And then you can't ever walk again!" Clearly exaggerating, the half-vampire tries very hard to back away, "I'm claustrophobic! ...Whatever that means. B-but, yeah, I'm terrified of...random moving people... A-and I have agoraphobia too! You know, that rediculous fear of open and public spaces!" She can't be sure if her lies worked, but she kept on avoiding the dance offer anyway.

"And hey, look at the bright side! Lots of girls would kill to dance with a gentleman like you, right? Ahahah...oh look! The snack table!" The half-vampire ran out of stall talk as she tried to escape, but Kaekeru had already took hold of her other hand now. Gulping, she then resorted to her last option. Her witch hat suddenly raised itself from her head and got 'blown off' somewhere. Syani grinned at the distraction she managed to create, "Oh hey, look at that. How did the wind got here? Wow, strange, huh? I'll go fetch my hat now, excuse me!"

Hikaru got alerted right away when he heard that familliar voice calling him as his smile widens to a grin. Soon enough, he did found the girl of his dreams running towards him and fortunately didn't knock him off his feet this time, "Oh, heyya Kimi--"

Well, Kimiko doesn't technically knock him off his feet, but her appearance almost did. Hikaru gaped at Kimiko for a good 15 seconds, eyeing her costume with that silly subconscious goofy smile on him. He slapped himself after a moment, then got back to his usual immature self, "Kimiko-chan!! Wow!! You look so pretty in that costume!! What are you? A drop-dead cute cat girl? Whom you already are, anyway."

Hikaru can't believe what he just blurted out...the last parts specifically. His face flushed red instantly at that over-honest comment. It's only now that he know his hormones are officially scaring him.

[Kieru]

Kaekeru just chuckled at Syani, grinning down at her. "Now, we both know you blew your own hat off." He said in a sort of playful tone to her. "Dancing with me wouldn't be that bad, my dear, beautiful witch." He said, still holding her hands as he led her over to her hat, pick it up with one hand and placed it back on her head before placing an arm at her weist, still holding her hand with the other and smiling gently at her.

"Just try to follow. You can step on my feet all you wish." He said with an almost playful grin at her and began to move slowly, gently urging her body to follow.

[Kimiko]

Kimiko giggled somewhat and moved around to Hikaru's side, avoiding hitting the tray as she took hold of his arm, leaning close and giving him a quick peck on the cheek. Her own cheeks were a slight bright red as well and she hugged onto his arm. "This room looks great, Hika-chan. Have you been here the whole time helping Mimi-chan?" She asked, smiling happily at Hikaru.

[Zephel]

Syani sweatdropped as Kaekeru led her over to her hat and place it back on her head, then escorted her slowly to the dance floor, "Ahahaha...y-yeaaah... You REALLY want to be confined to a wheelchair, huh?" Syani asked him monotonously, almost giving up on escaping her worst flaw. She glanced at Kaekeru, now catching sight of that gentleman hat on him.

Just as she's playing the thought of 'blowing' Kaekeru's hat to a nearby balcony, someone elbowed her quite hardly at her shoulder, it was so sudden she lost Kaekeru's grip, tottered forward a bit by the sudden force and fell on the floor on her palms and knees with a smack. A short shriek escaped her throat as she hit the floor, her hat falling off of her head by the impact.

Anthony Reinhardt, the teacher for any subject related to the power of the mind, was busy tearing off the crowd, running away from something. His white mexican-styled shirt revealed the color of his skin a bit thanks to his sweat, signalling he must've been running for a long while. It apperas, as fate turned out, he was running so fast, he knocked Syani over as he speds by her. He didn't look back though, giving the impression he either didn't care or didn't notice that accident at all as he continue to tore through the crowd.

As Kimiko took hold of his arm, Hikaru's heart jumped fast. Then, when she leaned in to kiss him on the cheek, he swear he almost got a nose bleed right then and there. "K-Kimiko-chan..." that subconscious goofy smile was back on him as he felt his face would burst from overheating.

It took him a moment to get back to reality, just in time to hear her question. "Mimi-chan...? ...Oh! Do you mean Mitsuko? Ah, yeah! I was kinda the first guest that arrived since...well, my costume isn't the most time-consuming of sorts. So, I offered to help Mitsuko with the decorations a bit and handling the snacks. Oh! Do you want some?" The redhead lowered down the serving plate on his left hand just enough for Kimiko to dee what's on it, "Or do you want to skip to the dancing?" He smiled at her sweetly.

"Heheh well truth is no one has ever asked me that question before... so i'm not sure how to really explain it. As you can see... people dress up in costumes and have fun."

In the background Mitsuko heard three familiar voices coming from nearby- Hikaru, Syani, and Kimiko. Obviously she knew Kimiko's voice really well because of the sweet cheerfulness she let out whenever she spoke. And the angel smiled hearing that letting out a chuckle that sounded more like a giggle

[Kimiko]

Kimiko smiled at Hikaru somewhat sheepishly. "I don't really know how to dance at a ball..." She said. She then looked down at the tray, seeing one of the snacks as small tuna sandwiches and widened her eyes somewhat. She quickly snatched one up and turned around, nibbling on it with a greedy smile.

[Kieru]

With intense speed and power, Kaekeru grabbed Syani around her waist to keep her from hitting the ground and grabbed the collar of the one speeding by, pulling him back and glaring angrily at him. "You better watch where you're going before you piss someone you don't want as an enemy off." He said in a low tone, angry about this person nearly knocking Syani to the ground and hurting her and also interrupting the beginning of his dance with her. Still not having fed for getting close to a few months was also a probably factor in his swift mood change.

He let the man go with a warning glare and set Syani carefully on her feet again, holding her close and turning to her again, instantly hiding the glare he'd just shown and smiled caringly towards her. "Are you okay, my dear?" He asked kindly to her.

[Zephel]

Anthony almost choked to death as he was pulled backwards by the collar, and before he knew it, meeting eye to eye with a pissed young man. He gulped at the guy's threat, sweat rolling down the side of his head, but alas, as the student let's him go with a warning glare, he just have to let his tongue on the loose, "I say, by any chance, are you a vampire?" Then he spotted Syani in the vampire's arm, "Oh my goodness, and you're dating my charming caramel too?? Dear chap, by all means, she's terribly blurry that you could literally lead her to a room and she won't even know you're un--"

Without wasting a moment, a punch from a very tight fist meets the perverted teacher's cheek...hard. Before the teacher fell to the ground however, another hit from a foot landed on his chin, and Anthony was spinning in the air, out cold by that powerful kick. "Honestly!" the hitter breathed out, annoyed, as he watched Mr. Reinhardt fell on the floor beside him, "Can't you stop irritating every person you meet, for your own life's sake?!"

Straightening his jacket, it was revealed that the owner of the voice...is none other than Zephel. He wore something almost similar to Kaekeru; white shirt under a jet black jacket, black pants, classy shoes, and the same old-fashioned hat. Only thing that differentiates their costumes is the cape Zeph's wearing, black and red on the outer and inner part respectively. And also, that white mask that hid his eyes, giving him a rather mysterious air.

"I deeply apologize for my brainless teacher's actions and behavior. The other teachers and I were considering of getting him an electrifying leash... Excuse us." Zeph gave a slight bow to Kaekeru and Syani as he dragged the unconscious teacher off with a grunt, "Out of all people, he just HAVE to hit a vampire's girlfriend... I wonder how you keep yourself alive after all this time, Anthony..."

"Really? Well, I don't know how to dance either..." Hikaru sighed. The redhead noticed Kimiko snatching something from the tray he's holding, and literally have to hold himself from bursting out on how cute Kimiko looks. "I can accompany you to the snack table, if you want to eat. I'm kind of hungry myself too."

Just as he's done saying that, he saw Zephel dragging a corpse-like prop just near the pair, "Hey, isn't that my brother?? Wow, I can't believe he actually came!"

Syani breathed out a bit of air as Kaekeru caught her from hitting the ground, her hat wasn't so lucky though as it flew off her head. After she's back on her feet, she blinked continuously at her savior, "Um, I'm quite fine, thanks to you. And...thank you. Really." With a smile, took a step closer to deliver a slight peck on his lips.

"Right. Now to get my hat," she said as she turns around from Kaekeru, both to hide her flushing face and to search for her belonging. Her hat must have been kicked by some people and flew away too far as she can't find it anywhere withing her range of view.

[Maki]

Maki wandered into the building, staring at the walls as she went. She had dressed up as a manga version of the bunny from Alice in Wonderland. She had done a half transformation of her body. Her ears and a tail and parts of her face had natural bunny hair. Her eyes held the same shape and appearance as that of a bunny as well, though her hair was the same colour as her normal human hair.

She walked around, eventually bumping into someone who wore a mask and a cape. "Excuse me." She said in her plain tone, trying to be polite as she looked at the person, recognizing him after a moment. "Zephel?" She half questioned, to make sure she was right, her face still expressionless.

[Kimiko]

Kimiko glanced up to see Zephel going past a bit away then quickly finished off the small tuna sandwich and turned back to Hikaru, smiling again. I'm fine! Whatever you want to do." She said, smiling, somewhat excited about the feeling in this room and feeling a bubbly sort of happy from just being around Hikaru.

[Kieru]

Kaekeru pulled her back to himself. "We'll find it later." He said.

Shortly after, he heard the person behind him who'd nearly knocked Syani over in the first place going on in bothersome speech. As he was about to turn around and strangle the bastard, he noticed someone else did the job for him.

with an unsteady glare, facing Zephel, though still holding onto Syani, Kaekeru gave a small nod, closing his eyes for a second to compose himself. He turned back to grin at Syani and held her close once more. "Where were we?" He whispered toward her ear before holding her again. "Just follow." He said, smiling at her as he carefully moved the first step, avoiding her feet with ease as he tried to carry her through the motions of the dance.

[Zephel]

Busy dragging a soon-to-be corpse through a crowd of people, he suddenly, and unexpectedly, sneezed. Blinking, he found it strange to sneeze out of a sudden, so he guessed he may have caught a hay fever. It wasn't long until he finally bumped onto someone, with a costume that looks real enough to fool Zeph that he just saw the world's tallest rabbit...that is, until he heard her voice.

"Maki??" A sneeze. "Glad you came." Another sneeze. "...Are you dressed as a rabbit...?" At this point, Zeph was forced to cover his nose and mouth with a gloved hand, now annoyed at his hay fever. Then, as if the heavens shining its unlucky light to him...the much-unneeded answer came.

"Nii-san! Get back! A giant bunny is attacking you...!!" a certain red-headed child ran past the crowd to his brother, with Kimiko in tow. "Remember your allergy!"

"I have an allergy towards...rabbits? Even costumed ones?" That question was followed by another sneeze through his glove. "Or... Maki, did you use your transformation ability for your costume?" And there goes the long chain on sneezes and sniffs that Zeph was forced to let his grip on the teacher go.

"H-h-haa..." Syani can't even talk straight in her shaky voice as Kaekeru started the dance. She didn't even know where to put her hands, and where she could step, in fear of a wheelchaired-Kaekeru appearing vividly in her mind. Her eyes darted below, trying to see where her feet would be...of course that would be an easy task if she's wearing pants to the ball..

"I...I can't see my feet... D-don't need to, already know they're shaking like the rest of my limbs..."

[Maki]

Maki blinked, puzzeled at Zephel's sneezing. "You're allergic to me?" She asked blankly, glancing up at the bunny ear that flopped down. "Yes... It's real...." She said plainly.

As she watched him sneeze, she raised an eyebrow. "If you want, I'll remove it." She said plainly still.
