Halloween Masquerade ball

Mitsuko had arrived to creepy steeple. She didn't know much about the area, but she did know this place was really really creepy as the name stated. It was now halloween and what place would be great to hold a halloween masquerade ball then at creepy steeple.

This was a night full of chills, thrills, and maybe for some people romance. She had set up the pumpkins at both sides of the castle doors on the outside, both lit and carved into well friendly faces- depending how people handled halloween she didn't want to scare them to death.

She then took a black culdron and filled it with candy of all kinds- lollipops, bubble gum, chocolate....etc. at some side tables that were covered in halloween table cloth ther ewere masks that people could use to hide their identity if they wanted to be mysterious.

This angel was already in her costume though this time... she decided to pull in her wings into her back. Underneath her left eye she had put sparkles that glittered beautifully- it was kinda like when someone cries and their tears sparkle a bit. thats how it looked underneath her eye.

She had long earrings that almost touched the top of her shoulder, and her dress was made of pure white satin. Mitsuko was a princess tonight. But she hoped that people would come to the party. On the ceiling of the castle she had managed to get a chandelier to hang up above. She looked up at it and smiled.

[Roy]

Roy walked up the stairs to the entrance of the Creepy Steeple. He has been here before. At that place he has met Syani. This fact isn`t really helpful to look forward to a wonderful halloween mascerade ball since he knew that Kaekeru would be definatly with her. He couldn`t even sort his thoughts to answer his own question: Why was he here anyway when he knew that he would not enjoy it ?

He sighed and opened thr big portal. The moon behind him threw his shadow on the ground of the entrance hall. This night he didn`t wear his adventurer outfit. He changed it into a beautiful ball outfit. He wore tight black shoes, and black trousers. Then a white frilled shirt and onto that shirt he wore a wine red vest. To give him the perfect elegant look he had a tight black tail coat over everything and leather gloves on his hands. In contrast to his rather elegant black appearance he had a white mask on his face which coverd his eyes, forehead and nose. The mask also emphasizes the white frilled shirt which leaked out under the wine red vest.

Roy walked towards the dancing hall while the sound his shoes made on the ground got reflected by the walls. Then he entered the dancing hall where already a lot of people from the Diabolic Domain stood everywhere. They were all talking, laughing and smiling. Roy felt bad all of the sudden. But he was happy that he had this mask it allowed him kinda to hide his expressions.

Roy hasn`t spotted anybody he knows yet, so he decided to wander around a bit and see what the evening will bring to him.

[Lyssa]

Since she was still fairly new here, Annecia didn't really know anybody. She entered the building where there was said to be a ball being held for what was known on land as Halloween. Annecia had never heard of this holiday before, but the fliers said to dress up, so she found what she could before coming. She had been grateful to the prince for having given her money, for she had soon learned how important it is on land.

She had bought a water fairy costume. A beautiful light aqua blue dress with sparkling aqua and silver wings to match it. Annecia kept her hair down, but dressed it with a silvery web of sorts and a light peach flower. She wore a matching peach pearl necklace as well and a small, but perfectly fit for her, pair of light aqua and silver low heeled shoes.

Annecia had never seen such an interestingly decorated room as this place that held the Halloween ball. She was curious about every and watched all around her at the rather different decorations until be bumped into someone. "I'm very sorry." Annecia said in her delicate voice as she stepped back, holding her hands together in front of her, her head a bit lowered in apology for bumping into this person.

[Roy]

Roy was wandering through the dancing hall. Even though nobody was dancing yet a pretty orchestra was heard in the background. He wondered where all his friends could be.
Still thinking about how he had to meet Kaekeru again when he wants to talk with Syani he made his way through all the people. And will Mitsuko show up ? he asked himself all of the sudden. I wonder if she is already-

Thats where his thoughts got interrupted as a person suddenly bumped into him. Since the person wasn`t looking him into his eyes as she was apologizing he wasn`t sure if he had known her. All he saw was a very elegant figure in a blue dress and long brown hair that lay on her back past her shoulders. "I`m sorry myself" Roy repeated politly "Say... don`t I know you?" he asked curiosly the woman in front of him.

[Lyssa]

"No.... I've never met you before." Annecia said as she looked up at him, her crystal blue eyes sparkling somewhat as the lights hit them. "I don't really know anybody here yet... My name is Annecia... You are?" She said quietly with a slight smile that showed all of the caring and compassionate nature that flooded inside of her.

[Roy]

As she raised her head Roy was overwhelmed by her appearence which blew all his thoughts that bothered him away. For a second is was like time totally stopped around him and he doesn`t sense all the people around him anymore. It was just him and her eyes. Eyes which seemed as deep and blue like an ocean on a bright summer day.

After a few seconds of silence he finally opened his mouth to answer. "Oh... a new person. Then welcome to Diabolic Domain." he welcomed her with a smile. Then he took his mask from his face because he thought that this was much more polite. "My name is Roy. Nice to meet you!" Roy introduced himself with a slight bow to Annecia. "It shows much courage that you came to this ball when you don`t know anyone yet." he said to her to start a conversation.

[Lyssa]

"I thank you, Roy. I don't quite know my way around yet, but I managed to find my way here alright." She said sweetly, glancing around. "What exactly is this... Halloween holiday about?" She asked, having never celebrated such an odd holiday that used bats and bones for decorations, so this certainly caught her curiosity.

[Roy]

Roy eyed her with with a frowned forehead. Actually he had no widea what this ball and the holiday was about. All he had thought about was what could happen if he met Syani on here. "Ummm.. well, I come from a place far away. So I am afraid that I can`t answer your question.." Roy said to her. "Hmmm, but I do know somebody who can tell us about it." he added smiling. Roy was thinking of Mitsuko, he was sure that she's somewhere around. So he put his mask back on and offered Annecia his arm. "Let's look for her."

[Lyssa]

Annecia smiled somewhat delicately, politely accepting his arm, placing her hand gently on it. "Let's." She said sweetly, her face almost glowing somewhat as she smiled at him.

[Zephel]

"Stop!! ...Stay!!! Err...HALT! FREEZE!! BRAKE!!! REST!! STOPOVER!!"a high-pitched voice echoed in the night, followed by a zooming sort of noise that becomes louder and louder until a speeding blur could be seen flying through the castle's large opened doors. It's only until that same high-pitched voice shrieked "SOJOURN!!!" that the zooming flying thing stopped inches before it hits the wall.

It seems like somebody's taking a broom as her personal transportation to the ball...and had forgotten the specific word to stop the flying broomstick. When it stopped speeding so suddenly, inertia took place as the rider of the broom crashes into the wall, plummeting down to the floor oh-so-ungracefully before standing up seeing stars around her head. "Augh...that's the LAST time I'm hexing a broom..." complaining that rather loudly than she intended to, a certain half-vampire clutched her head, trying her best to see her surroundings...

"Oh. OHH!! I made it!!" Now seeming rather messy by the wall-smashing incident, Syani then quickly dusts herself and fixes her black pointy hat, tucking back the wisp of hair that escaped her hat.

Attending the masquerade ball, Syani had chosen to be a witch tonight. Her voguish black dress that seems to glisten a purple tone when light shines on it accompanied by a sort of net-like gloves around her arms made her appear like a gothic sort of princess. The dress matched perfectly with the witch-hat she made, her hair loosened down to her back. A black rose stitched right on top of the dress, near her collarbone, seems like the perfect final touch for her elegantly creepy dress...

"Man, if my mob is here, I can never run in this ridiculous garb..."

[Kieru]

"You wouldn't have to run." A gentle voice spoke behind her as Kaekeru stood there, staring at her with almost a half smile, but a kind look in his eyes. "I'd protect you."

The vampire wore a pair of pure black pants and shoes, an old fashioned black suit jacket and white dress shirt under it. He held an olden style gentleman's hat in his hand as he bent over somewhat, reaching the other hand around Syani's side. "Care to dance with a vampire, my dear?" He said, almost jokingly, waiting for her to accept the offer.

Mitsuko had heard familiar voices from near by but truth was she wasn't far away. She had just finished putting her finishing touches to the decorations to make it more friendly. her earrings moved back and fourth as she flew and then she stood by the window her hand on the glass.

In the reflection she turned and saw roy and she smiled.

"Glad you could make it.... whose your friend?"

[Roy]

Roy spotted Mitsuko as she greeted him. "Hey Annecia, there she is already" he smiled. If she hadn`t called out for Roy then he probably wouldn`t have seen her at the first sight, since her wings disappeared and she was wearing a very beautiful white dress.

"Hi, Mitsuko, of course I came! How could I miss a nice festival like this one?" still stunned about her clothings Roy wasn`t sure if he should say something, but decided to introduce his new friend first.

"This is Annecia, I just met her on the ball. Annecia, this is Mitsuko." he introduced the both of them.

[Lyssa]

Annecia smiled delicately at the beautiful woman standing before her. "It is a pleasure to meet you, Mitsuko." She said gently with a small nod of her head. "Ah... Might I ask, do you know what exactly this... Halloween holiday is about?" She said carefully, her crystal blue eyes seeming to scan a few nearby decorations then look back at Mitsuko once more.

[Zephel]

"Ahh!" a short shriek escaped her throat as Syani turns around and finds herself standing in front of a familliar vampire. Sighing in relief it wasn't one of the mob-people, she shook her head sideways at his words, then half-jokingly replied, "Come on, I'm a mage-in-training, a supposed-to-be-sorceress! I even have the costume on! I don't want to be a burden to you, I can protect myself. Thank you very much!"

She pouted at an attempt to look hurt, until Kaekeru offered her a dance, which made her whole complexion paled, "Wait, wait, let me take a full-view look at you first," she stepped back two feet away and eyed his attire, "...Wow. Dude, since you can't see how you look right now, and if I'm some sort of talking mirror... Kaekeru, I would say, that you look truly breathtaking." With a sincere smile, she then took a step back, a slight sweatdrop on her head.

"And uh...about the offer, sorry to dissapoint you, but I never tried dancing, and never will." Another step back. "A-and I'm not so graceful on my feet in the first place, so dancing would bring permanent pain to your feet and damaging your classy shoes! Don't want that, right? Ahahaha..." With a hand behind her head, the half-vampire laughed nervously as she backs away further and further...

"Snacks...! Who wants snacks?" a young red-headed boy stepped in between Syani and Kaekeru with a serving dish on his lifted hand, blocking Kaekeru's view of the half-vampire. With a smile, Hikaru turned and saw Kaekeru there staring at him, so her approached the vampire happily, "Hi, welcome to the masquerade ball, good sir. Want a snack?"

Hikaru, though taking part in a ball, dresses quite casually in his sneakers, sports pants and his usual white t-shirt and blouse. His red goggles also hanged loosely around his neck. The only quality that made Hikaru looked like he fit in like the rest of the others in their costumes is the light that could be seen emitting around him. The red-haired looked precisely similar to a spirit thanks to the glowing effect, and as he's a light-wielder, there isn't much trouble making himself luminous.

Hikaru arrived quite early to the ball and being a helpful child he is, offered to assist Mitsuko for a while, walking around serving snacks. Lifting the serving dish to let Kaekeru see the snacks, Hikaru grinned brightly, "Crackers, cheese sticks, titbits, chocolates...you name it, it's all there. Want some?"
