Takato then brought her back to her feet. Putting his hands up surrendering. It was tempting to not let her go and keep the smell all to himself. She smell... welcoming. He couldn't put his fingers on it though. Syani was a very pretty young lady yet she didnt like to be touched? not a hug or a peck. No affection at all? What the heck is wrong with this picture. Usually girls would be looking for SOME kind of attention from guys. But not this one. No. This girl made things explode if you touched her.
"Ok ok" He said somewhat backing up. As flirtatious as he was. He knew when to stop, and its not like he was out to torment this girl. He was just doing some harmless flirting. HARMLESS, or that was his intention. He never meant any harm to anyone. But maybe it was a good thing he flirted with her because now he was concerned. Which was... awkward. how often does a girl make Takato concerned even a little worried!
"Are you always like that, when someone flirts or even give you the smiplest affection?" He asked her curiously. eyes wide

Syani literally fell to her knees when Takato released her, like all her limbs went numb, then takes her time catching her breath. It took her a while to register this guy's question in her head, and when it slowly dawns inside that blank skull of hers, the half-vampire looked up at him.
"YES. Dude, I told you. No touchy, it's mushy!" She planted her palms to the waxed floor, staggering up on her two feet, almost tripping off her purple skirt, but managed to keep her balance and stood straight. Her basket had fell a little distanca away with the limes there rolling off. Seeing that, she sighed dissapontingly, pointed a very straight index finger near Takato's face, then...sort of..scold him?
"Bad Taka-chan! Now the mob can spot me with all these mess."

Takato was then taken back a bit. Mob? what the heck?
"Um, Syani, what do you mean by mob" He asked curiously.Now Takato was... REALLY concerned. Why would syani be running from a mob. Takato then put out a hand to help her up.
"Syani, do you need someone to watch over you?" He asked.

Syani blinked at him. Okay, this is weird. 2 minutes ago, he's being mushy. Now, he's being...well...that expression on his face almost indicating that he's...worried? Well, she's not going to fall for THAT this early, so she refuse to accept his offer to help her stand up, and just managed to do it herself.
"What I mean by mob...is...like...you know... A group of angry men with pitchforks and torches that went all 'I'll catch you, vampire~~!!' ...Like that." The raven-haired explained with a nod...not really realizing the said mob is just a few meters behind her, pointing to the girl, then begins to run into her direction.
"Aaand...aww, watch over me? Like a guardian angel?? ...Wow, that would be REALLY nice, but I've been okay for the past...I don't know...since I was 12?" Syani laughed, still not noticing death is approaching her from behind. "Haaaah...sweet memories..."

Takato's eyes widened. since 12. wtf, just because she was a vampire? but vampires are hot! and... Syani was so cute. how could anyone want to hurt her. "No, no Syani as in Big brother, For some reason you remind me of a little sister that I have to protect" Suddenly the mob started pointing their pitchforks. In the store c'mon.
"Syani, at this point, I insist" He continued.

Syani's eyes grow large, almost sparkling at Takato. "Big brother?? REALLY???" Her hands clasps in front of her in a hoping pose. To feel protected...well, that's new to her. All her life she's been running, and dodging, and escaping...but protected? Naah, it sounded way too good to be true.
"Why the sudden offer, though?" She asked, blinking up at this man.

Takato smirked at the raven haired girl in front of him. At first she seemed excited, but it wasn't till seconds later that, she was now questioning why he WANTED to protect her. Takato sweatdropped at the her. he couldn't believe she was asking him why. "Because, For some reason, i feel the need to be your big brother" Said Takato crossing his arms. With a 'Im not taking no for an answer' face.

Syani was just about to retort on his statement, crossing her own arms, when something sharp poked from behind her. The dark-haired girl jumped in surprise, lightly ramming herself to her self-proclaimed 'big brother', and quickly turn around to find her angry mob holding out their almighty pitchforks at her...
"Oi. Don't you people know you need a sharp pole and a hammer to kill vampires? Not pitchforks, stupid." Syani stuck out her tongue at the group of men...who then revealed her a large sharp stick and an aqually huge hammer...
"Ah, okay, your grandfathers taught you well." The girl sweatdropped, remembered the man standing behind her, and stepped aside to introduce him. "Mob, meet Taka-chan. Taka-chan, angry mob." She gestured to each party respectively, then took hold of Takato's arm, winced at the touch for a bit, and dashes off from the mob.
"Run, dude, RUN~!!!!"

Takato then sweatdropped as he waved at the angry mob. "Hi angry mob" Thats when things started to get ugly and syani grabbed a hold of takato's arm and started running. So he did just that, forgeting that he had a shot gun strapped to his back. Being forced to run. As the were being chased around aimlessly in the store Takato then realized one of his shotguns. Takato stopped turning around. Glaring at them. If there's one thing His mom and Uncle Seiji taught him well was, How to use a gun. The gun was loaded, Takato's glaring at the mob who've seem to stop in their tracks.
"Back off or I'll shoot!" Yelled Takato. At first they were agreed and took a step back. They all did, Until some idiot decided to commit suicide and walk towards them. But then Takato, then realized.... He was out of bullets. "shit" he growled. He then grabbed syani but the arm, running as fast as possible! When that wasnt possible Takato then threw Syani on his back. "Hold on Tight" He muttered.
Thats when he morphed into a lion. Now running on all four paws. Takato picked up speed, (Yes kids this is Narnia all over again!) Takato ran outside of the store. Towards the ally way. Maybe he could loose them while they hid in the ally.

While she's busy dragging Takato all over the mall, Syani realized how fast the mob is now...or she's getting slower... Well, whatever the reason, this is bad. This is very, very bad. It's until Takato suddenly stopped his tracks and turned around to face her mob that Syani slightly panicked. "Hey--"
She paused, noticing the blonde reaching out a gun and threatened to shoot the mob. The half-vampire was taken aback by this...as this is probably the first time anyone ever stood up for her against the mob. "Takato.....what are you doing...?" She asked unsurely, not even bothering to call him with the 'chan' suffix now.
Syani didn't even know that the bullets are out, but she's so surprised on Takato's action that she just stood there, staring at him. She only started to get her senses back when he grabbed her by the arm and slinged her to the back, saying she should hold tight. Well, that's what she's already doing when she's being slinged like a backpack like that...
Suddenly, the neck she's holding slowly turned into a tan-ish color, as he then bent down, running on all four....paws? She can't see what's happening because it happened too fast, but soon she found herself being ran off outside the store and into an alleyway. As soon as the vigorous movement stopped that Syani lets her grip go, dizzy and surprised on what she's holding...
"A..a....a....large...cat....??' She backed off really slowly, leaning against a wall in shock. "Giant...cat... You're...half a kitty?"

Takato sweatdropped at syani's half a kitty comment. "No Syani I'm not a kitty, Im a lion" She said somewhat growling. Thats when he growled inwardly. The 1/2 part was starting to bug him for he was 1/2 demon 1/2 majestic or something along the lines of that. It wasnt his fault that he was a 1/2 demon. Hell if he could he'd go kill his father himself. For leaving his mother like that. Takato then sighed. Takato then snapped out of his train of thought's and looked at Syani. He then walked up to her rubbing against her like a kitty. Letting out a purr, he was just glad she's still in one piece.

"L-lion??" Syani almost slipped off her consciousness when she heard that answer. It's not everyday she sees a lion...heck, she's never even seen a lion live before. Only the pictures in books. Takato's growl scared her, probably because she's not used into having a wild animal beside her. But at that one moment, she swore she saw this flicker of gloom in the lion's eyes, but snapped out of her curiosity when Takato suddenly walked up to her and rubbed against her arm.
"Eh!!" Syani's spine automatically straightens as she recoiled at that strange furry touch. Though he doesn't approve being called a kitty, he's actually acting pretty much like one. Finding that funny, the half-vampire giggled and reached out a hand to touch his mane, then after making sure he's okay with that, she stroke his head with a smile and lightly give the lion a quick hug on the head.
"Thanks, big brother."

Takato smirked at being called Big brother, it was something new that's for sure, for Kisa always called him Taky. But it was ok, it had a nice ring to it. Transforming back into his human self Takato then put his hand on top of Syani's head, ruffling his hair.
"Anytime" Takato smirked.

"Heheh." Syani grinned at the head-ruffling she just got, squinting one eye closed at the strange gesture. She has to admit, he kind of makes her feel...secured, somehow. Safe, even.
"First time having a big brother figure...and I like it. What are the odds in that." The half-vampire shrugged, then smiled up at him. "SO...since now I'm a sort of your little sister....that makes it legal for me to continuously annoy you to end, right?" A rather mischievous glint flickered across her expression.
