Where the hell was he? Veldrin walked through the streets, surrounded my masses of people, attending to the their businesses. He saw himself in front of huge grey buildings, some of them covered with coloured labels or lights. Veldrin knew big cities and the turbulences, specially at the markets or in one of the temple districts. But this here was quite different... Beginning with the way the buildings were created to the Items that were sold in the shops or at the stands. His view moved from one point to another, examining the actions and particular the foreignness of this place. He saw two men bargaining in one of the shops and then, a lot of money changed its owner. Veldrin grinned. "Don't mind where you are, some things will never change". Finally he stould in front of a great glassy portal, that opended its doors to let himself and dozens of people, pass this line to, Veldrin felt, into another world. Beneath his feet reached marmoreal baseplates under a ceiling that seemed to be somewhere near heaven. He could discover green hedges and fountains, placed on little 'islands' amidst the covered floor with visitors. Veldrin looked around. Hundreds of shops, restaurants... After only a few seconds he felt even more lost he already was. Then he discovered stairs that moved by their own, transporting people to a higher level so that the people didn't have to move. It was more as strange to him. He had never seen such magic before. "Don't be to astonished Veldrin" he said to himself "I'm sure there'll be much more i have to wonder about." He started his way right through the masses, looking into some shops, thinking about the use of some of the objects and finally being happy if he discovered something he knew. He decided to make his way to the higher levels - on normal stairs of course - and speculated, over and over again, were the hell he could find a blacksmith at this place who could take care of his armor that suffered from the remains of his last fight.

"There she is!! Get her!!!"
Followed by that yell is a high-pitched shriek, a screeching sound from the waxed tiled floor, and from the top of the stairs Veldrin's currently taking, leaped a raven-haired figure sporting a large red mantle cloaking her violet outfit underneath. Her long black hair seemed to float while she's in mid-air and her normal expression quickly changed into shock as soon as she sees a man she's about to ram into...
"AH!!" Fortunately, he has rather large shoulders, so the girl swiftly extends her arms, quickly grab hold of his shoulders with her palms before the rest of her body crash into him, and cried a strange set of odd-sounding words, "Euria forsthen andari-OH!" Out of nowhere, a wave of invisible energy hurled her body upwards, with her hands still grasping the man's shoulders, almost like she's flipping acrobatically over him by using his shoulders to support her whole weight.
Still, the girl did it so quickly, her weight didn't even hace time to transfer, so the man probably won't even get weighted down by her action. "Hya--TA!!" she exclaimed as she landed a few distance behind the man, tripped off the rest of the stairs, fall ungracefully at the base of the stairs with a yelp, then dragged herself on a sprained ankle to search for a hiding place. She haven't had the faintest idea she dropped one of her devices - a circular thing that looked close to a metallic holeless doughnut - from her cloak when she's flipping off Veldrin and it now lay innocently near his feet.
While she's busy limping, a group of angry men with pitchforks and flaming torches appeared on the top of the stairs, attracting a lot of attention from the nearby people. One of the mob pointed at the girl's direction, "Oh!! There!!" And off the group of angry mob shuffled through themselves to climb down the stairs, their shoulders rubbed against Veldrin's as they made their way pass him.

Still on his way on the stairs and still kept in his train of thought about the fascinating foreignness of this place, Veldrin's action was interrupted by a young woman, appearing so fastly, that she was in the act of ram right into him. "What the ... ?" Before he had the possibility to react anyhow to the red dressed and black haired girl, she used his shoulder to vault himself with almost unnatural agility. Veldrin turnend around, detecting the red dressed young woman with a non healthy looking landing on the ground. At the same time a metallic clangor sounded up from his feet. A strange metal plate rolled around to steps below his current postition. But Veldrin shouldn't have the possibility to wonder about, because more arrivers, screaming and holding torches and pitchforks, appeard on the top of the stairs, pointed at the girl. The sight of them was such an extend unfitting to the giant and noble shopping mall, that Vedlrin forgot where he was for seconds. Many people stopped in their actions and watched curiously the event around the stairs, because the armed men started to run down the stairs, hustling the walkers on their way, even Vedlrin. "Girl, Thief? Guards? ... no... Fanatics?" Rash thoughts shot through his mind. Two men hit him unpleasently at his shoulder and a third one tore at his cloak Vedlrin wore. Cursing, he kicked the third man who had hustled him against his leg and, screaming, he was hurtled over the steps against his two fellows in front of him. "WHAT DO YOU WANT!!??" he shouted at the other ones, who were making there way down the stairs, surprised about Veldrins action. He had enough... He just arrived in this city and probably could make anything without getting into any troubles. And THIS looked like trouble.

"What is the meaning of all this?!" A large man, persomably the chief of the mob, steps up to face Veldrin, "Get out of the way, boy! We're hunting a dangerous girl on the--" Before he could even finish, a loud booming sound could be heard far away at the direction the young woman before.
"Ahhh!! No, no, NO!!" the aforementioned girl screamed, as smoke started clouding the area and a burst of wild flame could be seen. Something heavy breaks, and another thing exploded. Next thing the whole mall heard is a painful yell, and the noise subsided, only the sound of the burning blaze filled the atmosphere.
The people nearby has gone berserk, all are screaming and heading out for the exit as the defeaning fire alarm was turned on. The sprinklers on the ceiling started to rain down everyone as the staffs from the store started closing down their shops quickly to escape. The guards also made their move, by calming down customers and guiding them through the emergency exits.
One guard tries to subside the flame by using a fire extinguisher, and when the flame lessens only a slight bit, he suddenly shouted, "HEY!! There's a girl trapped here under a fallen concrete!!"

Veldrin stood there on the steps, like paralyzed. He was the only point in a sea of hecticness and panic that doesn't moved. "But..." he stammered "I just wanted to find a blacksmith..." Veldrin has never thought seriously about a place like hell, but was sure that the current situation fitted well with that idea. Flames rised everywhere and the growing heat was already sensible. The speaker of the mob disappeared and Veldrin tryed to make head of all of this. Wherefrom the fire appeared? A further bursting sound from above let him look upwards. Concretes and other debris from the upper floors were falling down. "Holy..." Was he cursed? Since he arrived in DiabolicDomain everything seemed to end in a disaster... Veldrin started to run down the steps, catched the strange object the girl dropped just a few seconds ago and jumped over the still dazed man's body he kicked before. The guardsmen cry for help reached Veldrin who made his way through the dashing mass of people trying to escape. Only one meter next to Veldrin one of the falling concretes crashed into the floor. Dust raised against Veldrin and he coughed. Wonderfully no one was hit and Veldrin finally reached the Guardsmen. He pulled down his cloak and pitched in to hoist the concrete the girl was trapped beneath. Veldrin's muscels tensed and he shiverd under the heay weight when his left, an with dust covered, metallic looking arm, showed no effort like the rest of his body. One more person approached and together they hoisted the big concrete.

As the people in the mall quickly lessens till only some guards and a few men in ties, presumably the manager or someone important of the mall are left. One man's busy calling the ambulance as another is calling the firemen.
More guards approached Veldrin and the other man, helping all they can as the walls of the mall is crumbling away. As there's only one fire extinguisher that could safely be in reach, the fire's not going to go out anytime soon.
"Right, okay! Keep it that way! I'm pulling her out!" One man said as he crouches between the others to reach towards the unconscious girl. After successfully reaching her hand, he tried to pull her out, but it seems like he has a lot of difficulty doing so.
"Agh....she's stuck. I think her leg's stuck at the back. I can't pull her out!" The man complained as he stands back up, now fully confused on what to do. The walls are started to get wobbly as more and more concrete fell from above. Smoke replaces the fresh air fast and dust has covered most of the floor.
But then....
"Agh........ Wh...What? Somebody..."

Veldrin stopped pushing the massive concrete and kneeled as the girl regained consciousness. Another great cloud of dust covered Veldrin for a moment and made it impossible to see anything. A man's yelp ended as sudden as it sounded from somewhere behind. Veldrin grabbed the girls shoulder. "Can you hear me?" He tried hard no to cough "Try to move your leg. If not possible, push this damned concrete." The flames reached their highes point. The mall seemed to be made out of walls of fire. All light flared in a play of red and yellow colurs and sweat started dropping down Veldrin's face.

Syani could see a blurred image of a man in front of her through her teary eyes, probably caused by the dust and smoke. She can't even register what he just said to her, all she hear is this ringing in her head. The only thing that made her try to stay conscious is a touch on her shoulder, and since her response to touch is usually overcautious, that touch has sparked a bit of life to her dying receptors.
Swallowing a bit of spit to clear her dry throat, Syani coughed by the smoke that has begun to engulf the space under the concrete. 'Levitation...don't fail me now...' Under her breath, the dark-haired started to chant a continous chain of words, "As-cent erntity....as-cent erntity....as-cent erntity..."
Suddenly, the massive concrete started to quake slightly, then after a few moments, slowly lifting off from the ground. The piece of solid didn't just completely levitating over the girl, it kept floating upwards higher and higher...all the time when Syani's lips seems to be moving by that repetitious chant she's casting.

The black-haired girl showed finally signs of life and over Veldrin came a short moment relief. He started talking again, but stopped as the girl began to whisper a strange chant. "Damn!" Veldrin jumped back, shocked by the motion of the giant concrete that started its way upwards. "A Mage?" Veldrin thought, focussing the dust covered girl on the ground with a cautious look, who, still whispering, was now freed by the weight of stone and metal. An explosive flame in the near snatched Veldrin out of his thoughts back to reality. He overlooked the situation with a short turn. The girl and he himself were the only left islands of life in this raging sea of fire. The other men already fled by the sight of the levitating concrete or were pushed back by the flames. Quickly Veldrin grabbed the girl and pulled her away before the flying concrete above them could probably collapse again.

Being hauled up from the floor so suddenly, plus being touched, Syani squinted her eyes close and recoiled her body slightly, causing her to stop her chant and making the large boulder crashing down to where she just laid. Slowly slipping off her consciousness, Syani tried hard not to faint at this moment, seeing the situation is still dangerous for her to just weakly faint.
The pain on her foot proves to be doing wonders as it sent signals to her brain and affecting her whole body to grow cautious of her surroundings. "Let me...fix this..." Syani pulled her head up every time it drops, exhausted and injured by the lack of air and a wounded leg. "I...started it..."
She scorned mentally at herself for suddenly coughing out of a sudden. The last thing she wants is to appear weak, in front of a dude to make it worst. So, the dark-haired tried to feel her way with a bruised hand towards whoever just saved her, since her visions are blurred and she can't even see the guy. "Please...get out...of here..."
