Routine....

[Maki]

Maki walked into the classroom, her head watching where she walked and sat at a desk next to the bookshelves. She pulled out a few books, opening one where a bookmark with a blue string held the page. She glanced at the note from someone named "Zeph" on it before setting it at the side of her desk and layed the book down, pulling out her note book and continued to take notes from the book into her pad.

[Zephel]

"Bright morning sunSHINE! Shining my face with its glo-ory~!!" Anthony sang as he happily marched in the class, but strangely with no books behind him. Like he expected, the seat near the bookshelf is occupied with his favorite student, "And THERE stood the sun of my day, waiting to burn me into blind passion!!" he continued to sing as he struts his way to Maki's table...

"Though she never sees me, I won't give up persuading~! Oh gummy bear! Sweet transparent gummy bear!" He loudly chorused, now stroking Maki's blonde hair, "But alas, an outsider had claimed her heart, and withing 2 seconds before I end this melodic singi--"

DUSSHH!!

"...An expected hit is blown~!"

"Shut up, it's annoying in the morning."[/b] Zeph grumbled as he massages his temple in pure annoyance. Then he made his way at the bookshelf, wearily eyed the books stacked there.[/color]

"Why... What is this??" Anthony noticed the bookmark at the side of Maki's desk, then picks it up.

[Maki]

Maki looked at the bookmark being lifted and her eyes followed it, her hand emptily reaching for it, staring blankly merely at it. She didn't notice anyone's presence in the room.

[Zephel]

"Hmm...?" Anthony looked at her reaching hand curiously, glanced at the bookmark, then averted his eyes back to her. "You know what?" he spoke up to anyone that hears him, "I think my little gummy bear has her heart taken."

"That's the most insensible thing you've ever sang today." Zeph replied, still eyeing which book to pull from the shelf.

After scanning them all, he pulled out a rather thick volume on 'Explosion on Telekinesis'. Then while he's heading back to his seat near the window, Anthony's slightly modified sentence caused him into a halt.

"I think my little gummy bear has her heart BRUTALLY taken." The teacher noticed Zeph turning his attention to him, so Anthony shows him the bookmark with a raised eyebrow, "And you don't even noticed what you've done, have you?"

Zeph's eyebrows creased in confusion, unaware of the problem. He shrugged it off after a while and walked towards his seat, then starts to read the book.

Anthony clicked his tongue thrice, then turns to Maki. "And that is how you define heartless." He starts to play with Maki using the bookmark, raising it higher when she's trying to reach, "Too bad both of you are."

[Maki]

Maki's arm remained still, her eyes locked on the bookmark, waiting for it to come within reach. She said nothing as though she couldn't speak. She heard nothing and didn't notice anyone's presence.

[Zephel]

Anthony blinked, realizing Maki's stare fixed on the bookmard, and grinned. He locked the bookmark between his lips, rests his arms on Maki's desk and leans in till his whole upper-body is supported by the table. The teacher puckered his lips, as in handing the bookmark to her.

Zephel looked out the window for a while, just to see if it's going to rain soon because the atmosphere's too quiet. He twisted his body to the back, resting an arm on the chair's leaning thing, and looks at Anthony and Maki.

Only now he noticed how strange Maki looked. Her complexion even looked paler than before, "Anthony, what did you do?" he dryly asked.

[Maki]

Maki took hold of the other end of the bookmark with her hand, weakly, and pulled, trying to take it back from whatever force was holding onto it.

[Zephel]

Anthony let go of the bookmark so that he can reply to Zephel, "What did I do? What did YOU do?? Come here for a sec and tell me what you see in her eyes." He gestured for Zephel to come.

With a grunt, Zephel leaves his book and went to Maki's desk. Anthony asked the same question back about her eyes and Zeph just reluctantly leans down to see her eyes. After a while, he stood straight again and faced Anthony, answering a simple, "Nothing."

"That's the problem." The teacher shrugged, "It's not as much fun flirting with her if she's this blank..." Anthony sighed before leaving the two to head back to his desk.

Zeph's eyebrows creased. sensing that Anthony might be right. He looked at Maki again, now slightly worried as he waves a hand in front of her face, "Maki? Maki, what's wrong?"

[Maki]

Maki placed the bookmark back on the desk after getting it back, continuing to take notes. She thought for a moment she'd heard a familiar voice, but didn't respond.

[Zephel]

"Huh." Zeph blinked down at her, now sensing how serious whatever she's suffering now. After a long pause to think what he's supposed to do, he twists the chair in front to face her desk and sat on it.

But instead of trying to reach her attention, he just simply lean back, cross one of his legs and drums two of his right fingers at seat's armrest. Though, his eyes are set sharply on her.

"Zephel, what are you doing?" Anthony called from his desk as he adjusted his glasses, "She'll just ignore you, you won't get anywhere."

"That's fine with me."

The teacher rolled his eyes, "Well, of course, you're being you. But is she fine with it?'

"I don't know, she won't tell me." Zeph eyed the bookmark he signed, rolled his eyes, unexpectedly cups her face with both of his cold hands to make her look at him, "Zeph to Maki, Zeph to Maki! Please respond. I need to get back to my book."

[Maki]

Maki looked at the boy who held her head and spoke, the name ringing in her head. "Zeph......?" She quoted quietly as she stared at him, wondering if this was the person she had to remember. 'Why..... Cant I......' She thought to herself as she stared blankly at him. "Why....?" Her voice came out in the quietest of whispers as though she was merely breathing instead of speaking.

[Zephel]

Zeph stared at her sharply, almost glaring at her, as he tries to see it through her eyes. When she whispered, he can't hear her, though he's able to catch where she's flowing. "...Oh..." he finally uttered, when he found the problem.

"I see..." Zeph slowly lets go off her face, his eyes darted away, "So you've forgotten me..."

The sound of a chair falling backwards could be heard from the teacher's desk as Anthony quickly appeared beside both the teenages, after successfully knocking down some chairs and tables on his way. "Say what???"

[Maki]

Maki stared still at the silver haired boy in front of her. "Why....." She whispered inaudibly again. Her face appeared blank, but there was a kind of emptiness behind her eyes that made them water and begin to leak as she watched him, trying hard to remember. 'Zeph' The name rung in her head over and over as she tried to recall anything about this boy in front of her.

[Zephel]

"Gumdrop...crap... Crap it, gumdrop, you're making a girl cry!!" Anthony outbursts as he hops on his twinkle toes like a lady trying to avoid a mouse scurrying. His arms waving frantically in between shock and excitedness.

It turns out, it was from excitedness due to his next sentence, "My emotionless gummy bear is showing EMOTION!!!"

Zeph punched him hard on the gut without removing his eyes from Maki. He had hurt her before...and now he made tears rolling down his cheeks. Best thing is he doesn't even know how he did it. Perfect. Another heart he successfully shattered.

"M-Maki, I..." He's not even sure if she heard him, that's why he paused. So he closed his mouth, and speak to her in another way he knows. 'Maki... Can you hear me? ...Please, I don't know what happened, and what's wrong. So I need you to tell me... ...Maki?'

[Maki]

"Why.....?" Her voice came out quietly as she still stared at him, tears leaking out of her empty eyes down her blank emotionless face. 'Why... cant I.... remember?'[/b] She thought to herself instead of the voice, his name still flickering through her head as she tried hard to remember anything at all about him.[/color]
