Evan finished setting up the classroom, a few new mats covering the ground and some sticks set aside in a pile. He looked at the two students here then looked to the door as he heard someone else approaching. He walked over to his desk again and leaned against it with his arms crossed, looking like a statue as he watched the doorway.

Arashi was the first of the two approaching to enter the classroom. A small smirk was on his face as he walked in. Arashi noticed a cute cat girl sitting near a boy with red hair. He was pleasantly surprised to see a female in their class and walked over to her and squatted next to her, pushing Hikaru's face away somewhat.
"Hey cutie." He said, smirking with a cat tooth showing between the slight partition of his lips. "Why don't you ditch this red headed freak and mate with a fellow feline instead." He said with a wink at her.

"Wh?? Hey!!" Hikaru was pushed backwards till he fell on the floor, his head slammed to the wooden base. Usually, he will try his best to avoid violence, always backing down and giving up when his brothers pick on him, but now is an entirely different matter.
"Hey, get away from her!" Hikaru tried to push this man away with both hands on Arashi's shoulder, but well...being a small guy, he simply just budged the guy's shoulder a bit. "Uhm...PLEASE mister, I'd really like for you to move away from my girlfriend right now." He asked, now realizing he's no match for this guy and results to his politeness tactic instead...though he doubt it's working.

Arashi chuckled and gave a wicked grin over at Hikaru. "Your girlfriend?" He questioned, stressing the 'your'. He then moved his arm around Kimiko and pulled her in towards him tightly, taking her head in his other hand and pressing his lips to hers.
He pulled back a minute later, grinning at the cat girl then grinned wickedly at the read head again. "You're too far beneath her." He finished in a wicked tone, not removing his arm from around her.

There is no words to describe how shocked Hikaru is to witness what happened. His eyes completely contradicts his closely shut mouth, widened in its fullest extent. He could feel his jaw tightly clenched, and so is his hands, balled up in fists. "Too far...beneath her...??"
He soon found himself on his two feet, glaring down at Arashi by an unknown force of fury "Well, if I'm standing there, then you're probably way underneath me, because at LEAST I RESPECT HER!!!" His finger pointed to Kimiko, Hikaru had no idea what drives him to literally yell down at this stranger, his flaming red eyes almost seeming like its glowing in pure rage. All he knows that there's this growing urge to just punch this man square on the face, but he hold himself back, constantly reminding himself that violence is not the answer.
And then...Arashi's face started to registered itself in his mind. That's the exact face of that cat-demon guy who fell in love with his sister. Hikaru's anger fused with shock, mistaking Arashi for his twin, Kaoru, "What?! Wait, NO! No, no, no... This...this is just wrong! You're the guy who's supposed to fall HEAD OVER HEELS FOR MY SISTER!!! You...but she...Yuki-chan...and you kissed....YOU ARE SUCH A-- GAH!!!" The light-wielder's hands found themselves clutched on Arashi's collar and started to shake him vigorously.

Arashi was prepared for an attack, so as soon as the red head lunged for him, he moved swiftly with cat-like reflexes and grabbed the boys arms, throwing him to the ground and pinning him with his knee on the boy's back. He leaned down really close to Hikaru's ear and uttered in a silent whisper. "I don't know about any sister you have..." He began, "But I'm sure I could easily take her too."

After getting over a slight shock that seemed to paralyze her a moment, Kimiko whiped her lips with the back of her hand in attempt to get that other boy's kiss off her. She noticed in a blur how angry Hikaru had become, enough to attack this other cat demon. However, seeing him attack Hikaru got her rather upset as well.
"Leave Hikaru-kun alone!" She shouted as she stood up and sent a swift hard kick to the side of Arashi's face, intending to send him flying at least a couple feet.

Arashi expected some sort of reaction from the girl sooner, but not with such a strong kick. He swiftly tried to lift his hands to block her, but still was hit hard on his cheek and fell over to the other side of the red head. She sat up and felt his cheek. He could taste blood in his mouth, which he swallowed.
Arashi stood up and grinned at the cat girl, moving around next to her and putting his arms around her again, this time reaching to grope at her chest and he moved in to kiss her.

Evan's eyebrows twitched in together a moment. He would have preferred if Hikaru would be able to fight his own battle over this girl, but he could not allow Arashi to go on any further. He moved in and grabbed the other male's shoulders, pulling him away from the girl with ease and tossing him back a few feet. He stood between Kimiko and Arashi, a cold hard stare at the boy.
"I will not tolerate such disrespect of a lady in my classroom." He said in a strong, stern and forceful tone, showing with it that he was serious. He then turned to Kimiko and Hikaru. "I apologize for not stopping him sooner. Though I thought Hikaru might have been able to handle it. Bad judgement on my part." He said, saying the last in a plain tone as he looked blankly towards Hikaru.
He then looked back at Kimiko again and gave a small nod before moving away from the two again and back to the desk, waiting for more students and keeping an eye on the boy he'd thrown to the ground. "What's your name, boy?" He asked.

Arashi somewhat glared at this teacher who showed with that one tug how truly stronger he is. "Arashi." He said, his voice obviously annoyed. He stood up and casually sauntered to the other side of the room, leaning against the wall, his face back to normal, grinning almost at the catgirl again.

Hikaru swore he could feel slight moisture in his eyes when Arashi whispered about his sister like that, truly confused why would a person as nice as Kaoru would turn out to be such a cruel person. He didn't realize what made Arashi tumbled beside him, but when the cat-demon moved to Kimiko again and harass her, Hikaru could only stood up and stare at them, knowing full well he's unable to do anything, and got sucked in his own weakness of strength.
He's fully gratuful the teacher stepped in and break the kiss off, and Hikaru ran straight to Kimiko when Arashi was being thrown off, quickly hugging her and whispered continuous apologies in her ears, thoroughly sorry he doesn't have the power to protect her himself. When Evan turned to them, stating his judgement on Hikaru, the redhead looked down, his eyes had that slight moisture again.
'...I...I can never be strong....... Kimiko, I'm sorry...' He hugged her tight, with his hair shadowing his eyes, "I am so sorry, Kimiko..."

Kimiko stood there a moment, hearing his apologies, and hugged him back tightly. She held on even a slight bit tighter, nestling her head into his shoulder. "It's..... Okay.... Hikaru." She uttered quietly. "You tried...." She spoke softly, truthfully wishing he had been able to stop the other himself.

Hikaru sighed, his light aura weakens as he fell limp off of Kimiko's hug and on his knees, his head hanging down and all the pleasant air around him faded...gone.
He stared blankly at the floor, feeling nothing but the pure emptiness in himself. Hikaru has a habit of switching off his main cheerful switch when he felt bad for himself, and this is one of those rare moments he switched it off. Temporarily.
He sat up straight after that, his face very blank, and his eyes are dark. "Teacher, when are we going to start the class?" His voice is flat-toned, unlike his usual cheery self.

Evan looked over at Hikaru and closed his eyes, letting out a small breathy sigh. "There are a few students running late. I will wait a few minutes for them then begin introductions." He said in his strong voice.
He then looked back to Hikaru again and walked over, standing near to the two. "Hikaru. Don't let this mistake get you down. Train and become strong so that you can protect her if she's so important to you. It is improper of you to show this depressed side of yourself to her like this when she has already forgiven you." He added, his voice stern but almost caring in a way.
