Sunrise, sunset, sunrise, sunset, swiftly go the days... it always is the same. ~ Bright Eyes, "Sunrise, Sunset"
To be perfectly honest, Zoe doesn't know what she's doing here -- how she even got here was even an unclear memory -- but one thing is for sure, she's not complaining. Everything was still new to her, but she wasn't entirely taken back from what she's seen so far. Ever since she's arrived in this world, from that memorable arrival in the Solde Catacombs (a place she vowed never to pass by again unless she's feeling suicidal) up to a few days ago when she just enrolled in the school, Zoe was actually pretty contented.
In this world, this universe, she never seemed to feel like she always have to be prepared for something, that she had always had to prepare to run (an activity which for a non-physical person like Zoe, is a much dreaded one). She's got freedom to be anything and do anything; heck, just the other day she was enchanted with the classes offered here. Classes that seemed to be offered and existing only in fantasy novels. Zoe couldn't believe her eyes when she saw a live breathing dragon, then the magic, too.
It was distant enough from the actual world she lived in, but she felt right at home. One of the things she never really got to do back at "home" was to watch the sunrise. Back then, they always have to get up early for just in case anyone would catch up to them in the morning. If not, Zoe would just be too tired to even try to wake herself up just in time to watch the sunrise. It's not really a big deal for her, really; but it just seems like a relaxing activity. That's why she really put her effort in waking earlier than anyone else and went to the rooftop, just to watch something as trivial yet extraordinary as a sunrise.

Takato was walking along the rooftops. Jumping from on house to another. He was up rather early this morning, for he had a really rough time sleeping last night. 'I really need to find a new place to sleep' He thought to himself as continued along the rooftops. As Takato was walking he couldn't help but notice that the sun was rising. "Morning, already?" He muttered to himself. The view wasn't even that bad. He found it relaxing actually. As Takato was walking along he found this girl, just sitting there, all alone. He'd never seen her before, Not even in his class, or in the hallways. Never. And as the sun was starting to peak over the hills. Takato then took a sit next to her.
"Hello there, pretty lady" Said Takato smirking

"Hello there, pretty lady"
"Aah!" Zoe screamed and jumped a bit, leaning to her other side. Scratch that 'feel just at home' thing; many things still surprise her. Even after spending all her years on the road scamming people and seeing all these different and colorful people; then getting to spend about... four or five days in this word -- not to mention, those collection of horror and macabre DVDs that she and her mom share. Yep, she could still get startled every once in a while... or rather once or twice every day since she got here.
"Oh, hi, hey, hehehe..." Zoe started to chuckle nervously through her embarrassment. What she saw this time isn't more like a strange guy, really. 'Everyone here is strange!' her inner voice debated. But he's rather the normal since she figured he's talking more like the people she had encountered back at her world before. The same guys who only has girls on their minds, or so it seems for Zoe, right now at least.
"What are you doing here this early?" she asked him while straightening herself up. In the real world, she might have easily blown this guy off. But she had to admit, she's getting pretty lonely in this unfamiliar reality. So anyone, good or bad, Zoe's actually happy to get acquainted. "And, I'm not really pretty," she diverted back to his earlier statement, in modesty while sweat-dropping with her hands in a fanning motion towards his direction - in that 'oh, stop it!' manner.

Takato chuckled at her. He didnt expect her to jump at all. In fact, He thought she had sensed her. It was rather cute though. This only meant he would be able to sneak up and surprise her. Takato loved doing that, but everyone always seem to have keen senses so its never as fun."Why am i up so early you ask? I couldn't sleep last night" He said stretching his arms widely. He was tempted, to put his arm around her but decided against it. Too soon. "Ok your right, your not cute" he started to say looking deep into her eyes. "You're beautiful" He commented just as the sunlight began to hit her. She really was... cute. He couldn't help but smile at her

"Why am i up so early you ask? I couldn't sleep last night."
"Hm? Oh really, why?" she asked in an attempt to keep the flow of the conversation going, looking at him through her bangs with her big deep blue eyes. "I slept fine last night," she thought out loud, breaking off her gaze on him and looking up at the sun yet again. There were a few birds already singing near-by. The skies' color were getting lighter and lighter. No wonder they say this was peaceful. It makes you realize how small and fickle you really are in this big world.
Then he spoke up again, and this time she met his comment with a confused expression on her face.
"You're beautiful."
Then again, came the awkward silence moment. Heck, if she paid a little more attention to trivial details. Maybe she'd even take notice of the 'peaceful sounds' she have heard earlier was now... well, gone. It didn't take her a while to process the idea, really. In fact, the minute he uttered those words, blood began to pile up on her face making her blush... very much. Meanwhile still feeling awkward.
Zoe Demitris was never the one being hit on. So how the heck was she supposed to know how to react in these situations?
So instead, she went down the modest route. Zoe punched his arm playfully, although with a slight force, and continued the nervous laughing spell earlier. "You stop pulling my leg. You don't even know my name!" She stated plain and clearly. It was true anyway. "And I don't even know yours."

"Because Sleeping inside dosnt exactly apeal to me so sleep outside, and well last night wasn't so comfy" He remarked. Takato then took hand that had just punched him. Holding it gently Takato smiled at her. "Then i guess i'd have to tell you my name then don't I?" He smiled at her. Bringing her hand up to his lips gently kissing them. "Takato Masaki" Takato said letting go of her hand. He continued to gaze into those deep blue eyes. Waiting to hear her name, Takato was sitting on the edge of his seat. "And what is your name, Miss?" He asked getting curious. Still starring into those deep blue crystal eyes of hers. He could take his eyes off her anymore, the Sunlight, and her just sitting, it was perfect. His eyes wouldn't shift back to the sun. The true beauty was sitting right there in front of him.

In another effort to make things go as smoothly and as normal as they could be, Zoe just commented to his reply as "Hah, you're a wild one, aren't you?" What she had on her face was a sheepish smile and a sweatdrop; deep inside she was hating on herself for not being charming or smooth enough that she could go by in this kinds of situation without feeling sorry for herself. 'And to the guy involved, all his attempts wasted on a no body like me.'
All her life, Zoe was never the one ever given attention. In the times that she were, she was just playing as somebody else, so she never really felt like it was right to begin with. Even as she was young, her parents always told her to blend in. And so when she grew up, she grew up simply and not really thinking that she would catch anyone's attention. (Except maybe the government or law, that would've been bad.) You could say that thinking like that took a toll on this girl's self-esteem. She was never really thought to be 'soaring the skylines' or be great, at all. So in the end, you could say she had just gotten a little comfortable in her zone.
That's why when he, Takato, he says? ('What a unique name,' she thought to herself,) was staring so intensely at her, Zoe couldn't help but try to look anywhere else. She took that time to look him over, or rather to normal people -- "check him out". He was dressed strangely, like most people around here, but he was different -- like most people around here. He looks rough and rugged, and yet still maintains that boyish look and charm on his face. Her eyes traveled back to his face, to his eyes and remained there. For some reason, her gaze was locked on his.
"Zoe, Zoe Demitris." She managed to croak out, although by this time, she broke off her gaze, remembering the fact that it was not her real name; the fact that she wasn't truly free to be herself in this world because she was still someone else. And this made her pretty glum and stare back at the sunrise. It was all good, the scene before her. Picturesque, really. But she can't keep her mind from thinking of what just happened. It was undeniable that something did happen there. Now the thing is, what is she going to do with it?
"So, what do you suppose we do?" After a while, Zoe broke of her silence and turned her head to his direction. An inviting tone in her voice and a slight smile on her face. 'Come what may.'

Takato couldnt help but let out a chuckle. "A wild one you say" he said somewhat laughing "I can be wild if thats what you want" He said scooting closer to her. "Zoe, a Beautiful name for a beautiful lady" He said Smirking. Takato continued his locked gaze on her. "A pleasure to make your acquaintance" He once again took her silky soft hands gently kissing them, He really did have an interest in her so he wondered how she'd react to his next words. "I believe this is the part where I ask you out on a date" He smirked once more, Waiting for her reaction. Takato then pulled her close wrapping his arms around her. "So, what do you say" He whispered oh so smoothly

Zoe was a bit taken back when he had moved closer to her. She smiled a little bit about his comment on her name, although a bit uncomfortable and awkwardly. Zoe hoped he didn't notice it. Once he grabbed hold of her hands (both of them this time, she noted), she felt something... happening in the pit of her stomach. It was something new to her, so she really didn't know what to make of it. But it was only definitely intensified when she felt his lips graze her skin. For a moment, her eyes lingered to that spot on her hand.
"So, what do you say?"
Looking up, Zoe was biting her lower lip, a habit that she did ever so often when she's thinking of something. 'This is not a good idea, I repeat -- NOT a good idea!' Her inner voice scolded her. Nibble, nibble. 'But what else could I lose if I say yes?' At this point, Zoe let her hands go from his grip and turned to face the horizon yet again. Still her teeth picking at her lip. What has she got to lose? 'Nothing, if it doesn't work out, then it won't. If it will, then it will!' she rationalizes. And so, after a while, she turned to face him and with an uneasy nod, she said "sure." Cue the smile.
It was then that she actually felt a bit like giggling, like the real girl that she was, but held back on it. She just never imagined that something like this could happen to her. 'What, get hit on and be asked out on a date?' a voice inside of her quipped. But it was just that she has always been 'on the road' with her family too long, there was really never a time left for her to... well, socialize with her peers and gain interaction like this one.
Not soon after, the sun rose and it was up in the sky, it was a clear day. The clouds were clear, sky is blue, the sun is up but it isn't too hot. Zoe could feel a light breeze blowing. Yep, like they say: this was peaceful. "So where are we going to go for our supposed 'date'?" she asked him teasingly, just a little bit at ease. Then as if by cue, the light breeze earlier became a little stronger and in turn, blew a flyer of a restaurant to Takato's face. This time, Zoe didn't held back on her laughter at all.

As soon as she say 'sure' Takato smirked. He was thinking finally someone who didn't smack him for asking a girl out on a date. Finally someone who didn't want to hunt him down, for being a male! hell! So where was he to take her. He was so ready to get smacked that he didnt think of a place.
Takato then got into his thinking pose. "hmm" He thought aloud. He could always take her to the movies, that would be fun, but that was so cliche. No fun in being cliche, there was also the beach. But its too early for the beach. besides, water just scared the crap out of him. He would take her to the Ice skating rink but... lets just say the last girl he took there... it didn't go so well. Takato was getting frustrated. I mean, how hard could it be just to take a girl out somewhere she likes! and where he'd have fun as well.
Suddenly it dawned on him. He thought of the perfect place for a date. The amusement park! Good job Takato! Takato then smirked. Oh but he wasn't about to tell her where they were going just yet. Oh no no it was a surprise. "Its a Surprise" Said Takato. Just then Takato's stomach began to growl. He hadn't eaten anything all morning. Suddenly Takato's plan's were haulted by his now growling stomach. Hell, might as well buy breakfast for the both of them. Or they could find something there. hm.... what to do what to do.
Takato stood up, going with the idea of going strait to the amusement park. Definitely going strait there. Or else they would just get tired, standing in line. Takato then bent over giving Zoe his hand. "Well, are you ready" Said Takato smiling at her.

When he had said it was a surprise, all Zoe could do was be skeptical. "Reeeally?" A doubtful tone in her voice and a disbelieving expression on her face as she said that. All her life, she just wasn't the one who's keen on surprises. It's either a surprise, we're going to make a run for it! or a surprise, guess who of our colleagues got caught? So you can't blame this kid when she's just not properly geared to deal with surprises.
She caught herself laughing at his 'are you ready?' question, though. It was cute on him and even though that only made her more worrisome, Zoe still found herself grinning. "Uhh, yeah? I guess." She chuckled. "You make it sound like some adventure," she commented, shaking her head. Aren't dates supposed to be monotonous? From what she knows, you eat and discuss. There's really nothing more to it, but his question made her somewhat doubtful that those would be the only things they are going to be doing.
Zoe stood up. The sun was out and up there in the sky, the day had just started, and her sunrise-watching was over. "C'mon Romeo," she found herself gesturing to him, lending an open hand while a smile was on her face. "Go on and date me." Zoe managed to say meekly, but rather cheekily. Things might be unpredictable and scary on her end, but still, it doesn't make her less excited of what's to come. You could tell she was already liking being here.

Takato then smirked at Zoe. "Romeo?, who's Romeo? My new nick name?" He said smirking not getting the joke behind it. Takato then grabbed her hand pulling her in for a hug, wrapping her arms around her waist, intently starring into her eyes. Takato smiling at her.

Zoe doesn't really get it. Was he just playing dumb to her allusions or does he truly not get it? In anyway, she just shook her head and stepped away from him. 'It's a little way too early for that.' "Never mind that."
She tugged on his hand and turned her back on him. "C'mon, it's feeding time! I'm pretty sure your stomach rumbling was heard all the way to China."
Once they had gotten down from the rooftop, though, Zoe remembered a keen detail. "Wait, where are we going, anyway?"

Takato chuckled. "Didnt you hear me, I said its a surprise!" said Takato. He smiled. A smiled that you only saw once and a while. He was starting to get excited. He hadn't been to Enchanted Kingdom in forever! So it would be fun.
"You'll see when we get there" Said Takato grabing her hand and she then started dragging her towards where he wanted to go.

Dragging was just the right term to describe it. For a little while, Zoe became hesitant. She was falling behind him, only connected by his hand's hold on hers.
'C'mon, what's the worse that could happen?' she asked herself. And came out with nothing.
"Fine," she declared, not letting herself be dragged anymore and matched up with his pace. "But don't you dare let me miss out on my breakfast. It's the most important meal of the day!" Zoe added happily, letting a rather dorky side of her show.
