Iku was wondering around aimlessly. She was bored, and didn't know how to entertain herself. She had a while before her next class. More like a few hours, so she couldn't go home. Not yet, for if she went home, she knew she would probably pass out on the couch. Totally missing her next class. Kimi was in Iku's arms. "Kyuu" said the green fire lizard. Iku pet Kimi as she continued to aimlessly walk around. That's when she walked passed the auditorium. And something had caught her eye. It was a piano. Iku peeked into the room. The room was empty. Iku was then tempted very much so to walk over and play the piano. 'Hm, to play or not to play' she pondered.
A second later Iku then decided to go for it. She hadn't played the piano in so long. Why not? Iku set Kimi on top of the piano, as she then sat down. Slowly putting her hands on the piano, she hit the first notes. Hitting them as she was instructed. She then remembered The one person, who taught her to play the piano. Her one and only father. Iku remembered loving her father. Hell her father loved her more than his WIFE! Which was Iku's step mom. Iku had never met her mother. But she never really cared. Iku continued playing. It all came back to her as if she was just with her father yesterday. Getting lost in the moment she continued to play. Ignoring her surroundings.
Someone had walked in. But she didnt notice. For she had found her self lost in the moment. She then remembered, what her father always told her. 'Open your heart and spread your wings, and anything will be possible.' Her eyes began to water. She'd wish he could see her now. She was happy like he always wanted her to be. But he was gone. Being killed shortly after she left. Shen knew he was watching over her. But to be able to tell him. what had happend, why she left. She wanted so badly. Iku put on a smile remembering her childhood. The happiest thing about her childhood, her dad. Iku then started putting all of her heart into it. With the image of sitting on her dad's lap showing her how to play this very song, was sitting right next to her. She let out a smile her eyes still watering. She wanted to talk to him just once more.
Coming to the end of the song, she remembered, anytime she did something, Her father would ruffle her hair, hug her, swing her around, carry her. Show her off to the world. hitting the last few notes. Iku let a lonely tear drop down her cheek. She felt guilty. Maybe if she didn't run away, he would still be in her life.
Suddenly the green fire-lizard stretched. Flying over to Iku's shoulder rubbing against her cheek like a cat. Iku then realized. Even if she could go back. She wouldn't. She was happy here in DD. Happy with Kiara, Happy with Kimi, and happy with Tyr, Realizing that all her father wanted was for to be happy to begin with. And thats what she was... happy.
Iku was then suddenly startled as she suddenly hear a clapping noise. Someone was watching her! Iku then turned towards the clapping person. She couldn't see anything. "Who's there?" She asked
