Booze For Less

[Kida]

Absently tapped her foot to the beat, Kida sat at the bar and ordered a beer. The tall plastic aliens at the entrance had greeted her like before, but Kida had finally been able to see the inside. All in all it wasn't that bad. The bar went with the alien theme, just like she'd been told, the music occasionally turning to an eery techno.

For once she was glad she didn't have to worry about smuggling Bec in. No, she'd left her little fire-lizard at the dorm so he could nap on her pillow, his newest favorite spot. Sipping her beer once she'd acquired it Kida couldn't help starting to actually bob her body to the music. It was better than she thought, or maybe it was just the beer that was better.

The place was dark with a few laser beam type lights floating around for effect. Kind of a weird effect since it was a bar and not a club.

[Odessa]

What kind of messed up booze hut is this place exactly? Odessa thought as she flopped herself down on one of the bar stools. Weird music, odd vibe, Odessa had been in her fair share of bars and taverns but for sure, Area 51, was by far the weirdest. The owner of this place must be some alien junkie.

"Oy! Bring a mug of beer here." Odessa called to the bartender, who pretty much ignored her.

"Hey, mister, are you deaf or something? There's a customer here!" She yelled a bit louder and yet still nothing.

That made her go into a pissy mood. She wasn't used to being ignored like that but, then again, the music in the place was so loud and ear drilling that a maybe the guy was already deaf. Odessa looked around the area that was directly in front of her, searching for something she could throw to get the stupid bartender's attention. She could throw the coaster perhaps, or maybe the glass that a patron who just left had but that would be as good as injuring the guy so that's a no-no. Odessa didn't want trouble this early in her visit/stay in the Domain.

That was when a small three-eyed green alien toy got her attention. It was barely three inches tall and was made of plastic. Perfect. Odessa took it and tossed it up and down her hand, judging the weight of the small green toy giveaway thing, and threw it with great accuracy on the bartender's head.

"Who did that?!" The middle-aged man turned around, albeit annoyed, while rubbing the back of his head as if it hurt.

"I was calling you, Old Man! A mug of beer please!" She barked, supporting her chin with her hand while her elbow was pretty much planted on the shiny counter top.

The bartender grumbled, "Another one of you people, eh?"

"What's that supposed to mean?" Odessa started from her stool. She spent time with pirates for almost three years and it was enough time to have this almost sixth sense like ability to sense an insult.

"Nothing...rowdy girls these days." The bartender mumbled before turning to get what the girl wanted.

Having settled that, Odessa sat back and found time to really look around the place. Aliens...oy...

[Kida]

Kida watched a little wide eyed as the bartender was suddenly pegged with--what the hell, was that a toy alien?--right in the back of the head. She choked on her beer and almost fell off her stool laughing. The old guy obviously didn't like that much, but it was too damn funny! Kida looked down the counter to a girl, the only person who could have thrown the thing.

"Nice shot." she commented after she could finally breath again. Beyond appreciating the accuracy of the girl's aim Kida also appreciated the reason. There was nothing more irritating that poor service at any kind of establishment. Not only that but the girl had had guts to do something about it. "I think I have to buy you a beer for that one." she snickered.

[Odessa]

Odessa leaned back just enough to not fall off the stool and cocked her head towards someone who's apparently talking to her. "Oh, yeah, like that, huh?" She realized that it was same person who laughed her ass off when she pegged the bartender. She raised a leg up and placed her foot on the stool she was sitting on, ignoring whatever etiquette the bar may have.

"That was fun and I kinda wanna do it again but..." She looked back at the counter, "Ran out of ammo." She grinned briefly and continued. "My name's Odessa and I'll take that offer of free beer without question. Not exactly the richest gal around here, you know?"

[Kida]

"Yeah, I got cha. I know the feeling." Kida tapped the bar. "Hey. Give the nice lady another beer when she runs out, huh?" She tosses a few coins on the bar, enough to pay for both hers and girls. "Odessa, huh? I'm Kida. Please to meet you and all that blah, blah." she chuckled again.

"What do you think of this place? It's my first time in here."

[Takato]

Takato then walked into the bar. A beer sounded nice right about now. Takato then quickly noticed his old buddy Odessa. Hah! since when has she been here. And just a few seats over it was Kida baby! Something told Takato this was going to be interesting. Takato then walked up behind Odessa. Wrapping his arm around her neck. "Odie! When did you get here?" He said giving her a noogie. How could he not! it was his sister for crying outloud, or almost his sister. Looking over he then waved at kida.

"Hi Kida, how ya doing babe?" He said Chuckling

[Odessa]

Whaaaaaaaaat the fuck?! Was all Odessa could think of when some random person hooked his arm around her neck and suddenly gave her a noogie. There was only person she could remember who'd do that and her suspicions were proven when she heard the guy's voice.

Die! Odessa threw a direct fist jab aimed at his nether regions.

She then immediately run her hand through her messed up hair, grunted, inhaled, exhaled, and then answered Kida's question, "It's kinda weird, never really been a huge fan of sci-fi and aliens and all that she-bang but, heh, better than no booze at all."

[Kida]

Kida's eyebrows hit her hairline as she saw Takato's expression change at the hit. Well, she'd be damned. A big grin light up her face. "Hi Kitty Cat. Looks like I'm not the only girl who knows how to handle you. Guess you two know each other?"

When the bartender ended up bringing Odessa's second beer early--and to Kida--Kida slid it down the counter to the other girl. "On the house, Milady. And nice shot on the cat too." she chuckled.

[Takato]

Takato chuckled. Still as strong as ever she was. Quickly jumping back towards his feet. "Hah! Do I know her? try I grew up with Odie here" He said smiling

"Odie! where the hell did you learn to punch like that!" He said taking a seat in between the two ladies.

Takato then grabbed some money out of his pocket ordering a beer. The very reason he came in the first place.

"So how are you ladies doing tonight?" He continued

[Odessa]

Odie, like a dog. Odessa grumbled as she jabbed her elbow on the counter so she could stake her irritated expression with her fist as she rested it on her knuckles again. "For your information, I know how to punch like that for a very long time and one more word that remotely sounds like your talking me down, you'll get more than a fist, Takie."

She then took her glass of beer and gulped it down until it was half-way empty. "Whew, that hit the spot!" She exclaimed, as if the beer had absorbed her irritation of her surrogate brother and she was back to fun-appreciating normal Odessa. "Thanks again, Kida, and let me guess, you know each other because he hit on you." she faced the other woman in the room with a questioning but at the same time knowing expression.

[Kida]

"Of course." she snickered. "Not hard to tell he probably does it to every remotely pretty thing that walks by. So you're an old friend, huh? That's nice, a little reunion it is." Kida took a long sip of her beer, just looking for a little buzz really. "You know that nickname is really...." Doggish. "Contrasting to what you seem to be into, Kitty." Which it was, but at least that way she didn't have to accidently insult Odessa.

"Mind if I call you Dess, Odessa?" she chuckled. "I think that sounds prettier than Odie."

[Takato]

Takato then felt as if he's being interogated. Geez cant a guy relax! He finnally got his beer. Yay! taking a sip of it. He then let out a sigh. "Geez, I feel the love you two. He said taking another drink.

"Oh, And Odie here, She's like my sister... a very abusive non-related sister. But I love her anyways" He smirked

[Odessa]

Continuing Takato's train of thought, Odessa said, "...an abusive, non-related sister, who doesn't know why the hell I still put up with you. From the looks of things I might end up cleaning up your mess...again." She then opted to sip her beer.

"And, yeah, Dess would be fine. People really like cutting, lengthening, jumbling and just plain messing with my oh-so-honorable name anyway." Odessa shrugged, then smirked, "Not a big deal anymore, you know? Kinda sucks I can't call you Kid now, can I?"

"So, Garfield, how many you got this time?" She asked quite accusingly, remembering all the times when she had to save his ass from rabid girls who wanted nothing more than to kill, stab, burn, hack n' slash, and cook him.

[Kida]

Kida's expression went vaguely irritated. "Ki-da. Key...like a key." she muttered more to herself than anyone else. Two syllables people, TWO! Anyone who'd dared to call her 'kid' like a child in the past had gotten a flippin' boot to the head.

"As for messes..." she paused, "I haven't seen anybody trying to maim the Kitty, if that's what you mean."

[Takato]

"Hm... I forgot?" Said Takato chuckling, Taking another sip of his beer. He then chuckled the two girls got along so well it was almost scary. Maybe he should go over there and sit in a corner before they tried to kill him. Of course, that would be the smart thing to do, but since when has Takato done the smart thing?

"And the only reason, I havn't been almost killed is because people love me more than they used to, right kida" he chuckled
