Syani allowed room for her confusion to show as her eyebrows wrinkled at his question. She guessed that this boy haven't quite figured out what she exactly is yet. That's no surprise since she herself isn't sure of her true species yet... It's a rare occasion for a hybrid to born, and Syani knows that, so it's hard to swallow the fact that she is one.
"I'm only half a human.." She tried to speak through her sobs. "The other half is a vampire." She explained slowly, again with her best to say this clearly. "But, I'm not sure about that yet.. That's why I'm here." The fact that the hunted and the hunter to fall in love bothers her, and she refused to believe it. But she's the PROOF of it, that's why she thrashed her philosophy long ago.
'It's...hard to believe, I know." The girl sniffed, now feeling a bit better to have someone to talk to, albeit a stranger. She dried up her tears, though her face is still red. "But it's the truth. At least, I believe so..."

Eralk tilted his head as he hears Syanis explanation and then his eyes widen. But not because of fear, more like because of surprise and after that his face expression turned into a big grin. It was pretty hard for him to keep his voice low "That..! That makes totally sense!" He let out in some kind of whispered yell and started to giggle "I found the answer to all my questions!! You appear like a human girl because one half of you is human. And your transformation at the Steeple was your vampire side!" He explained again before he put on a more thoughtful face. "Hmmm... but I never heard of half vampires before... I wasn`t educated in differentiating between vampires and half vampires. We were just looking for the evil presences and slayed them. But you don`t even have an evil presence..."
Caught in his theoretical thinking about the new discovery he made he didn`t realize that Syani was actually feeling sad about not knowing what exactly happened between her mom and dad and how it was possible. So he continued non stop probably not remembering that he had actually a person in front of him who was a half vampire and who might doesn`t feel right with what he let out. But how should he know ? He wasn`t very good at dealing with people who aren`t part of his clan because he hardly ever talks to them, especially GIRLS.
But Eralks enthusiasm was hard to stop when it once started "I seriously need to tell my dad about that, he won`t believe me!!" Now wagging back and forth like a little child.

Syani automatically blinked her tears away as she watched how Eralk responded. She's confused, of course, but the sheer excitement this boy lets out gave birth to an unconscious little smile on her face. His voice is so loud, she swore the whole patrons of the library had heard him. The librarian included.
But the thought of hushing him never even entered her mind. His eyes are...so bright all of a sudden. One thing she self-taught herself, is when a person gets so happy that their eyes shines as bright as this, it's better not to disturb them, but join them. So she did. And the happy air got rubbed on her too. "Yeah, I know! And I'm grateful for my human side too, because it made me humane in the first place, you know? So I won't try and suck everyone I meet or something. Hahah!"
Syani's smile grows though because of that aura boost. She didn't reply anything when this boy talks about his clan though. She can't help but to feel that slight chill on her spine too. "I...I'm sure..." An accompanied by that stutter is a nervous laugh... What else is she supposed to respond with?
The black-haired seriously CANNOT fake a smile as she watched Eralk waggled in excitement, it was just too adorable! He reminded Syani of this other kid she met at the dance club, Arche was his name, if she remembered correctly. The half-vampire just grinned at this guy, and her sadness fades away...just like that. By just seeing somebody else so happy, she forgot all about her own sadness. That's just how Syani is being Syani.
"Hahah! Stop that, you're making yourself look so darn adorable right now--" Syani paused, now seeing from under the table a pair of stomping feet from behind Eralk. Eyes widening, she quickly moved to the vampire-slayer, and slapped a hand on his mouth. She outwardly winced at the skin touch, like a volt of electricity runs through herself, but stay still, with only a palm and her knees pressing the floor. "Shhh..."
