A tall blond male figure stood at the back of the room. He wore a partially unbuttoned black silk shirt, black dress pants and black dress shoes. A necklace with a blood red crystal hung around his neck against his chest. His eyes were a blood red as he stared around the darkened room of the night club, flashing lights going off everywhere.
Normally, this wasn't the kind of place Kaekeru enjoyed being, but he wasn't here for fun. He eyed the people around him, searching for his prey. Finally, he spotted a young girl leaving, unknowingly being trailed by an older man with alcohol on his breath.
Kaekeru swiftly and quietly followed after them, trailing behind the man just a little bit until they reached a spot where he could feed without anyone noticing.
The girl didn't even seem to notice she was being followed. She turned a corner, heading down an alley way, obviously looking for a short cut to get home. The man followed her and Kaekeru followed the man.
This would be the perfect place to stop. Kaekeru grabbed the man around his neck, covering his mouth and hid behind a trash can as the girl glanced back. She had heard a noise of footsteps and was finally wondering if she was being followed. Kaekeru waited as the girl ran, then turned to the man he had pinned between the wall and the trash can.
Even though this was the more disgusting kind of blood, Kaekeru bared his starving teeth, ignoring the man's great fear, and bit into his neck. He kept his hand over the man's mouth to keep him silent as he drained the blood of his victim swiftly.
Once the man's body was completely drained, Kaekeru released his fangs from his neck and leaned back, his head tilted back as he stared at the sky, his red eyes turning back to their usual more golden colour. He let out a deep breath then stood up, leaving the man's body where he had been pinned.
Kaekeru lifted his hand to wipe off the small splashes of blood that got around his mouth, licking it off his hands. This blood was definitely one of the worst kinds, but he would not take the life of someone who deserved living. This was something he had decided year ago, something he had been mocked for by his clan.
Maybe he was simply born different, despite the way he was raised. His mind never worked on the same wave lengths as the others. He could hear theirs, so he knew this was so. He also knew that his abilities were stronger than most of his clan and their partner clan, Kumo.
Kaekeru turned as he heard footsteps, hearing familiar thoughts in his mind. He grinned annoyedly at the intruder who grinned back.
"Kumo..." He uttered, not seeming terribly joyous about him being here.
"Meigara.... I see you're still going after dirty old men." Sen joked with a light chuckle. He walked over and leaned against the wall nearby, looking down at the dead man then over at Kaekeru.
He wore, like Kaekeru, black dress pants and dress shoes, however, his shirt was a tight short sleeved cotton, deep maroon instead of black, his hair was a short wavy black, and he did not have a blood red crystal around his neck.
"Give up this life and come home already. " He said, a twinge of sadness hidden, wanting his friend who was like a brother to him to come back.
"I wont go back, Kumo." Kaekeru said, his voice heavy, hating being reminded of how his actual home had been destroyed, not wanting to move into the Kumo's estate. He stood in the center of the alley with his arms crossed, looking towards the other.
The two boys suddenly turned to face the nearby entrance of the alley as they heard the sound of someone approaching. Kaekeru remained standing tall and stiff, a blank look across his face.
Sen snarled somewhat, looking annoyedly at their distraction, preparing to attack whoever was approaching.
