ROLLOR COASTERS!

[Kida]

Kida turned, blinking, to look at the line in front of them. "Sweet! When did that happen?" From next to her ear Kida heard a scared and slightly sad 'Kyu'. "You don't have to go on, Bec." She said, petting his tiny head. "You can wait for us up there." Kida pointed to a tall lamp post, not yet lit because it was still light outside. It would be tall enough that Bec couldn't be dragon-napped and that made Kida feel a lot better about leaving him behind so to speak.

The little fire-lizard had taken a power nap while Takato and Kida had walked to the amusement park. Kida was grateful because then she didn't have to worry about him letting himself get taken or lost or something....

[Takato]

Takato smirked. Oh what he cause say. And how he could say it. "Maybe it was when you were thinking how awesome I am" Takato said smiles and all. Oh it was just too perfect. He then looked at Kida, waiting for her response. His smile was mischievous yet jokingly. He had a feeling he was about to get slapped. Unless this person was a kind hearted person like someone else he knew, Takato always ended up getting slapped. Even by Odie of all people. Why she has the need to slap him even Takato didnt know. But what was so wrong with playing around anyways. Its not like he was being mean or anything. Takato was just innocently playing around. Ok so maybe innocent was far from Takato but hey, who said he couldn't have a little fun right?

[Kida]

Turned away from him, she rolled her eyes. "Oh yes. Because you're the epitome of manliness and all that is awesome in the world." Kida said sarcastically. She turned back to him for a chuckle before she noticed the few people in front of them moving forward. Of course, stupidly, one of the employee's of the park had to check a kid's height to get on.

"Maybe you can use that awesomeness and provide me a job, huh?" Waiting tables, meh, cooking, meh. But she'd have to choose something sooner or later. It just might as well be sooner.

[Takato]

Takato thought about it. He probably could pull a few strings. Yeah it was just possible. It was either him start a business himself OR just find a friend to give her a job. Decisions, decisions. What to do."Hm... It is a possibility. Takato said aloud.

"It all depends what type of job would you like?" He said smiling at her.

[Kida]

"Oh, you know the usual. Astronaut, hired assassin, lawyer--The usual." Kida smirked in her sarcasm.

"I was joking, you know. You don't really have to get me a job. I don't really know if the sushi place is going to work out or not." Then again, judging from the way they had run down Zephel with in an inch of his sanity--or rather sleep deprevation--in just one day, it couldn't be that great. "Besides, if you're completely unemployed you should put yourself as a priority."

Kida hopped up the couple of steps onto the loading platform, looking to find the best seat on the coaster. "Any preferences on the seat?"

[Takato]

Takato didnt know what to think of this girl but for some reason she's got him thinking that he needs a job. That would rack in a few more ladies yes. But why would SHE of all people make him think he needs a job. Takato smirked. "Personally, I like the front" He said smirking. If that dosnt get her to grab hold of him scared out of her mind then i dont know what will. Plus Takato liked walking on the wild side.

"But we can ride any seat you want" He said as he smirked. Takato was still concerned as to why this girl made him think so much about a job. She even wanted to help him get over his fear over water.

[Kida]

"Front it is then." Kida snagged it before the couple behind them in line that were eyeing it could. She hopped inside and over to the farther seat to allow Takato the ease of getting in. The pull-bar was erect, waiting for them to pull it down when they were secure inside of the car.

The track directly ahead of them seemed harmless enough, but just beyond that was the very long trip up they had to take up for the first drop. Here come the butterflies. As pointless as it was, Kida was getting a little nervous. She couldn't help it, even if she did know that people didn't just die from getting on a roller coaster. But Kida pushed that bit of worry deep down to the pit of her stomach and turned to smirk at Takato.

"Goliath, here we come."

[Takato]

Takato smirked as Kida had JUST snagged the front row before those other two had got it. Takato was just about to get in when the operator had stopped him.

"Sir you cant wear that cape on the ride."

Takato sighed as he then took off the cape and handed it to the operator. It didn't really matter. Its just they couldn't have a sign or something. Takato then sat down next towards Kida. He smirked as he noticed that she seemed... quiet for the first time.

"Goliath, here we come." he heard her say. There went the quietness but oh well. Takato looks back at Kida, Smiles. This is going to be the fun part. He would say his normal thing but then Kida wasn't your average girl. Though she seemed a bit anxious/nervous which was odd in itself.

"I cant wait!" Said Takato anxiously. He was ready. After standing in that line for a long time. who wouldn't want to enjoy the ride. That's when suddenly Takato heard a screaming child. Apparently a kid freaked out. Takato sighed, There is nothing! to worry about!

"Is the ride really THAT scary?" Asked Takato obliviously.

[Kida]

"I doubt it, if they'd let someone that short get on." said Kida, glancing back at the kid. "But it is a roller coaster. It's meant to be sort of daunting, I guess. That's the thrill right?" That was how adreniline worked after all. Your body interpreted something as potentially life threatening, pumps the body full of the stuff to try and get out of it--but you can't since you're strapped in--and when the body realizes it still lives, it just turns into a great experience.

That must mean that the butterflies in Kida's stomach was her body's way of prepping for what was to come. It had been way too long since she'd been on a roller coaster, it seemed. "The only real worry would be if something were to break."

...Why did I have to say that...?

Kida facepalmed herself, hoping the kid hadn't heard what she just said.

[Takato]

Takato nodded for a second. Not even reconizing that she may be nervous anymore. She sounded as if she were calm and collected. "The only real worry would be if something were to break." He heard her say. Ok if she didnt look nervous now then I dont know what is.

Takato semi leaned in next to her. "But there's nothing to worry about, You have me" ;D Takato then let out a really egoistic smile.

[Kida]

Kida stole a peek at the child that had been refusing to get on. Thankfully, the boy hadn't heard. She was able to release a some-what relieved breath. "Can you fly? Because otherwise I think the outcome would be the same." Shaking her head, Kida ignored the ride operator while he went over the standard rules and yada yada.

"I know it'll be fine. It's just been a long time since I was on a roller coaster, that's all. I'm reacting out of a sense of self-preservation I thought I had demolished years ago." Apparently there was just the smallest of smiggens left. Oh, well. This was a good opportunity to squash it like a damn bug.

Kida pulled down the bar to secure them and felt the smallest of jerks when the cars began to move. With in a moment they were starting to climb up the tall arch that would send them flying into the rest of the ride.

[Takato]

Takato started to get a bit nervous himself. It's been a long time since he's been this high from the ground. The worst part was looking down. Bad idea. But Takato decided to keep his calm. He took a deep breath, and stretched his arm behind Kida. He smirked at her. Trying to keep his cool but it couldnt be helped when his hands kept shaking.

'Damnit stop shaking! he thought to himself.

"Looks like im a bit nerv-" And Takato was cut off by the sudden dropped. Takato then held on for dear life as his life started flashing before his eyes!

[Kida]

Kida's scream of surprise ripped through the air. But after she had gotten her bearings it turned to a yell of enthusiasm. Twists and turns came at them suddenly, going at every angle. A loop caught her stomach and made it flip flop. "Holy!" She said when the car angled downward and looked as if it would ram straight into the concrete. But just as she thought it would collide, in jerked into yet another angle and hurtled them into a cave that was pitch black. It was a relieved laugh that escaped her then. "Holy shit..."

[Takato]

Takato too was having a bit fun. Sure maybe he wasn't screaming like Kida was. But he was having fun. And a lot of it! Suddenly their fun came to a halt when they immediately stopped. Takato sweatdropped as they were now being let out.

"C'MON! These rides are never as long as the rides!!" Yelled Takato a little annoyed. The problem with Roller coasters these days is that they are extremely short and the lines are extremely LONG! Takato stood turning towards Kida, offering his hand to help her get out of the ride. He flashed her that oh so devilish smile of his.
"Have Fun?" He asked her still smiling.

[Kida]

Kida took his hand and hopped out of the coaster's car. "Yeah! I swore we were gonna hit the ground back there." she said with a chuckle. "Wish it would have lasted longer though..." Wind blown, Kida combed her fingers through her hair, wincing when she hit a tangle.

"Which one next?" Kida asked as she absently fixed her hair.
