[Kida]

"Pfft. I'd rather wear a man's shirt than that at the moment, thanks." she chuckled and shook her head. "I like fashion, but that's a pajama top in my opinion." Kida tossed the small tank back onto the pile and continued to browse.

Behind her she heard a disgruntled person clear their throat. Kida turned and for the first time noticed the clerk behind the counter. He was most definately male, much to their disadvantage because he was currently glaring at Takato, as if willing him to turn around so that he could point out their sign that read the phrase Kida had mentioned. "No shirt, no shoes no service." Kida didn't get the impression that the guy was gay either so they couldn't sway him to that.

Maybe their luck would hold and the guy would just remain silently irritated long enough for them to get clothes, buy them and change in the bathroom. "I'm pretty sure you could shimmy into one of those smaller sizes if you tried though." she added as an after thought to Takato.

[Takato]

"Me? wear that?"Takato laughed as Kida tried to get him in the small shirt. It was a nice try, that shirt would not last 5 seconds around his arms. He then looked at Kida, She was forbidden to wear a mens shirt. She was too hot for that! Takato looked around for a moment. They really had some crappy clothes in here. It was a choice between a bra like shirt which, Takato thought would look good on Kida. But what about Takato. There was no way in hell he was wearing a 'I love the pirates ride' shirt. And there was no way in hell that he would let Kida wear it either.

Suddenly Takato then found a shirt. It was another woman's shirt. It was blinding for it was bright pink and said 'I love pink'. Which was even worse than the pirate shirt. What the hell? Dont they just have Normal shirts around here! Takato then turned towards Kida. All in all Takato was screwed. For the guy was still starring at Kida's rack. Takato glared at him once more. Now he's starring at Takato's date. Maybe a man's shirt wasn't such a bad idea. But this store... definitely didn't have anything for him.

"Find anything?" Takato took one more glance around. His eyes stopped on one shirt. It was the last non-destroyed shirt there was. It was a green polo shirt. Takato typically didn't wear polo shirts... but this was a last resort. Takato picked up the shirt only to notice... it's one size too small. Takato sighed in disappointment. At this rate, they were better off finding another store

[Kida]

"Not really..." she sighed. "It looks like we stay wet or we murder our fashion sense..... Tough choice." Kida didn't really know which she'd pick at this point. She didn't want to be wet and she didn't want to be stared at, but she sure as hell didn't want to wear these awful shirts.

Kida looked around the shop. If she were the type she would write a formal letter of complaint or something. Hell, they could sue like she'd mentioned before. Because damnit! If they had a ride wear you got off with half the town's water reserve in your clothes then they should provide new ones. Free of charge! "This is real bullshit, do you always screw your customers like this?" she irritatedly asked the clerk. She noticed his gaze had to jerk up from her chest and a cocky grin come to his face as he started to speak. "That was a rhetorical question, Dumbass." she growled.

"What do you think we should do, Takato?" Kida asked, huffing and turning back to him.

[Takato]

Takato stopped and thought for a moment. Now Kida was looking for salvation in him. He looked around. "Maybe we can look for another gift shop? There's bound to be more around here" Said Takato not really wanting to even try to put on the shirt with the pirates ride on it. Sure he loved his pirate family. But That ride was worst way to represent pirates. Even though Their clothes were finally drying off they still had that moist feel to it. Takato just wanted out of them.

"What do you think Kida?" He asked her...

[Kida]

"Bleeeeeh.... At this point...." Kida looked down at herself, "I think we look for another shop. If we don't find one soon all the moving and walking around will probably help dry us off." It was a really annoying thought, having to trudge around everywhere in wet clothes, hoping they'll dry.

Kida rolled her neck, loosening it up a bit after she heard it crack. "Yeah..." she sighed. "Let's just go." She started for the front door giving an absent wave to the clerk behind the register that was a real thanks-for-nothing sort of message. The guy hadn't even bothered to ask if he could help them in some way. Some service.

"I'm sure there's another store with shirts advertising some other ride here."

[Takato]

Takato then looked at Kida. It really seemed like finding another shop was their best bet. Well, Takato thought of a better idea, and would be more fun. A smirk appeared on his face. But he would need a better place than the bathroom. As much as appeasing as the idea sounded. Takato decided against it.

"Well, lets try finding another shop" He said as he opened the door for Kida to exit. Again it's ladies first. He smirked at her, Maybe there was a shop for that first ride they rode when they got here.

"Should we check around that Goliath ride?" He asked

[Kida]

"Thanks." she said in return for the door as she walked through. "The Goliath? I don't think I saw one around there. Just a bathroom. Hmmmn... Maybe we could find a directory or something." Though it wasn't a mall, all theme parks usually had a map of some kind available, whether at the main gate, stores or restaurants. "I didn't see any on the counter in there." Kida jabbed her thumb back at the store they had just exited.

She rolled her neck and shifted her stance. The clothes were getting really uncomfortable the longer she stayed in them and Kida wanted nothing more than to be out of them. Of course the thought that she could some how suck the water out of their clothes had crossed her mind at that moment, she knew she didn't have enough control for something so precise. Course if I wanted to drown us I could do that... she grumbled to herself.

"Have you seen anything like that?" she asked Takato, referring to a map or a directory.

[Takato]

Takato then brought his finger up to his chin. Trying to remember if he saw some type of directory/map. Anything would do good. "I think I remember seeing something at the begining of the park" He said thinking really hard on the subject. You know how if alot of things happen you tend to forget the little stuff you didn't pay attention to in the first place. Yes that was Takato. He knew if Odie was here, she'd probably just laugh at him and say 'you're fucked' But thankfully she wasn't.

"Why don't we go look?" He asked. Yes it was annoying to walk back and forth all of the time. But it might be faster than standing here wondering if you saw anything.

[Kida]

"Yeah, let's go. It's better than just standing here wondering." Kida was forcing back a chill that was threatening to creep back up her spine. Thankfully, the weather was truly lovely that day so it was their good fortune. Kida didn't know how well Takato did with the cold. Especially if he were cold and wet.

"Oh, I think I see it!" Kida ran forward and up to the large sign. It was indeed a map of the park--but a very crude one at that. It didn't display any restrooms or shops or restaurants, but was a simple illustration of the different themed areas. "Damn it--oh hey." She bent over and picked up a folded bit of paper that was sitting in a slot in the sign. "Here's a better map." Kida unfolded the map for them both to see.

[Takato]

Takato was glad they had found something. But was disappointed on the illustration. It looked like the artist didn't even care about how it looked. But what luck, they found another one that was much better than the one they had up on the bored. Just as he looked over Kida's shoulder, Takato then felt a breeze against his bare back. Thankfully the breeze was light, but it was most defiantly cold enough to give him goosebumps. And of course his soggy wet pants didn't help the matter at all.

Takato looked at the map again. He grunted as he noticed the closest one was the pirate store. There was no way in hell that he'd go back to that store. Then he looked at the next closest store. "Lets go to this one" He said pointing it out on the map.

[Kida]

The next store in question was not very close to them. "At least it's not on the other end of the park." she sighed. "Better than nothing." Kida turned to start in the direction of the new store and ran straight into Takato's bare chest. She blinked and stepped back, blushing only slightly. Clearing her throat she mutter an 'excuse me' and folded the map. "Uh... we should go before the gate people see you without a shirt....." Or a few dozen girls. Those waiting in line for the rides nearest to the gate were already looking their way and murmuring.

"C'mon..." Her blush only getting redder now, Kida started walking. "I should go back and drown the operators..." she mumbled. What kind of policy was it to just toss someone in a ride when it was obvious they didn't know how close to dying they would get?

[Takato]

Takato was about to turn around to start heading into the direction of the store when suddenly Kida had bumped into him. Thinking it was a chance to win her over, Takato immediately went to wrap his arms around her. But it was seconds after she bumped into him that she had backed up. Causing Takato to miss his chance. 'dammit' Takato thought in his head. Curse the luck he has.

"That would be a good idea" He said regarding continuing on. Though Takato was a bit taken off. He was completely obviousness to the giggling girls that were standing in line. His attention was set on this one girl standing in front of him. Though he was starting to get the feeling he offended her. Thinking back, he didnt think he did. It was then when Kida started walking towards the next shop that it really did concern him. One she was walking a little faster than normal, two she wasn't looking at him what so ever. Did he really do something wrong?

Takato started to laugh when she mentioned drowning the operators. "That would be a sight to see" he said. Even though they probably were not hydrophobe like Takato here. But it would be nice to see the guys get some pay back. Even though what she's talking about would probably give Takato nightmares at night, but thats why you dont watch right?

[Kida]

"To be honest, I think it would terrify you. Well...cause, you know." she glanced at Takato. "If you weren't aquaphobic then I think you mind find it kinda cool." She hoped anyway. It would really suck if her power looked stupid and she didn't know it. Personally Kida really liked how it looked when she managed to pull something off. It took some creativity to think up new ways to use water as a weapon. After all you couldn't drown everyone who pissed you off.

"Maybe I could just beat the shit out of them. Martial arts have never drowned anyone." Kida opened the map to take a second glance at where they were going, just to make sure. Then, stupidly, she glanced back at Takato. Though they'd left the giggling line behind there were girls walking through the park that were also turning their attention to Takato. Some of them, apparently, didn't know how loud they were talking because Kida suddenly overheard a few snippets of conversation.

"--No shirt, isn't that against the--"
"Who cares?"
"...I wonder how often he works out..."
"I have to talk to him or I'll just cry!"

Kida stopped in her tracks, disbelieving what she had just heard. "What? ...Was that supposed to be a pick up line?" she muttered to herself and looked in the direction from which the comment had come. "So....stupid..."

[Takato]

"You're probably right" He said regarding him being scared of the water thing. Thats one reason to never piss of Kida. She has the perfect power in making him suffer. But at the same time. Maybe Kida can help him get over the phobia. He's already made progress earlier with the droplet. So why not right? Takato's train of thought continued as he was walking towards the store. And in a way he was almost hopeful, that maybe she could be the one to maybe, just maybe help him. Of course he didn't like being afraid of water. In his eyes, it was a weakness. Of course spending time near the water, but never touching it. The only thing water could touch was his tounge.

Takato was so deep into though that he didn't even notice that the murmuring girls. Plus it wasn't anything out of the ordinary. He ignored them for plenty of reasons. He never was into the shy type that just stand by and let something pass them by. It was silly to let something pass you by, especially if you wanted it. It was always just easier to keep walking. It was then Kida stopped dead in her tracks. Takato then turned to look at Kida who was looking at a girl? He trailed where she was looking, it was a girl who looked like she was fantasizing about something, it was then she totally freaked out. Because he wasn't listening he was totally oblivious to what was going on.

"Everything ok Kida?" He asked her

[Kida]

"Huh?" Kida turned back to Takato. "Oh. Yeah. Just her something....incredibly stupid. I had to physically stop so my brain could process it. That's all." she said while rubbing a temple. Some people...sheesh. What a pathetic thing to say, an even more pathetic excuse to talk to someone. And Kida had heard some really bad pick up lines.

Catching up to Takato, she just shook her head, trying to remember what it had been that she was thinking about. "Sorry....what were we talking about?" The water? "Oh yeah, your phobia."

"Anyway...uh....I'm sure I could help you with that. Baby steps and blah blah. Two things I can promise you....I won't pull out the psycho-babble-bullshit. And I won't drown you."
