I'm taking care of my family, is that such a crime...?"[/i] Orphion smiled, circling the nest to find a comfy spot for him to settle down and start his babysitting duty. "And thank you, Kiara. I don't know if any other words can describe what I'm feeling except 'honored'"[/i] He stated with a bow to her. But there's something he's still vague about...
Making himself comfortable after finding a spot to settle on, the blue one then asked, "May I ask? Since you're supposed to be the alpha...or, beta..female, I'm still not sure about that... You're supposed to be the main dragon to give birth to the new clutch for future Riders of the Weyr, am I correct? ...So does that means...you'll be laying the most eggs?"[/i]
Okay, that did not sound right. In fact, it strangely sounded like he wanted to do that flight again. So Orphion quickly balanced himself before he sinks. "I-I mean...! Uhm... Well, never mind. It'll sound wrong no matter how I said it anyway."[/i] He sweatdropped, blinking his large eyes almost in embarrassment.[/color]

"As am I, To be honored to be your mate" She too bowed her head. It wasn't any different for her. Really it wasn't. Kiara was just happy to have eggs and finally get over her hormonal nights. Though those still wern't over. Not with Iku and Tyr doing it left and right. But at least the feeling had lessened a bit
Kiara then chuckled at Orphian. She wasn't even thinking that he wanted to do the flight until he started stuttering. Though she had to admit the flight was alot better than she though it'd be.
"Yes it means I'll be laying the most eggs, which means yes, We'll have more flights" Said Kiara nuzzling him. Blinking her eyes flirtatiously at him. It was funny how he got embarrassed at the littlest things. So she just HAD to tease him.

Orphion can't help to be astounded by her words... Kiara is a very respectful dragon as of late when her Rider had became the Weyrwoman. It's like she's the second most popular dragon besides Orlith and the rest of the Absolutes. Compared to Orphion, he's just a commoner among with the other dragons inhabiting the Domain, he's nothing special...or at least, he thinks of himself as that. So, when fate paired them up to provide the Weyr with eggs is like a blessing from heaven to him.
When the flight topic started, his coolness dropped drastically, as that composed side of him tipped slightly and made him off-balance. Blue and red oppose each other in the color spectrum, that's why that reddish tinge on his face is not really that hard to detect, granted he was born with blue scales.
To add, her affirmative of his confusion only further reddens him. That totally caught him off-guard, plus that flirtatious bats of her eyes, and that warm nuzzle. It's amazing how simply Kiara can make him act like a complete stuttering idiot in a matter of seconds, his usual dignified air came crashing down like feeble toothpicks. "Ahahahah...t-that....m-more eggs? ...P-possibilty...is h-high? ..Wha..? ...Wait, hold on, sensors not responding.. Allow me to rephrase what I stupidly said."
It's a good thing his beastly defence mechanism works quite well when the shield crashed.
"I sense that you're happy about our previous flight, my love. Though, I have to say, I could do better." He returned Kiara's nuzzle with an affectionate rub at the side of her face, his tone of voice getting more playful by the second. "Of course, I'd have to hold myself back for now...since the young ones are watching us." Releasing a draconic chuckle, Orphion nuzzled Kiara for a quick moment before pulling back with a smirk.
"You can't tease me, I'm too cool." He jokingly pulled his head up high in pride, a contrast to his humble demeanor, which makes it sounds even more funny when he said it...and ended up banging a horn at one of the stalactites of the cave. "Ow!" Thus ending his pride within one second.

Kiara only continued to bat her eyes at him. Orphian being flirtacious was kind of new. Sure he played along when RD came along. But that was the last she'd seen of it. And now it looks as though it had returned. 'And why would you ever hold back on me' She said continuing to bat her eyes at him. She continued to nuzzle him rubbing against his long neck. That's when he pulled away stating he's too cool and hit his head on the ceiling of the cave.
Kiara just chuckled. She was defiantly glad that she chose Orphian to be her mate. He may lack a few things that the other dragon's had. But it was fine with her. She could see her future being an interesting one...

Orphion pulled back his head down, reminding himself that this is Kiara's cave, not his. Plus, there're babies here. He has to put limits to himself here to avoid slipping to his 'cool side' and hurts himself again.
"Ah...that hurts... I apologize..I can't seem to control myself once I began to feel embarrassed, and when that happens, I became like...like before. ...Ouch, my head really hurts.."[/i] He explained, and whined slightly in pain. "For future references, when I go to that mode, please don't encourage me. ...Or there's a high chance of another batch of cute little hatchlings inside your nest."[/i]
He half-meant it as a warning, but it turned out sounding like a flirtatious joke instead. The blue one smiled at Kiara, then turned to the eggs for a while. "I'm curious. Do we get to name them once they hatched, or does the Weyrleader or anyone else worthy enough has to?"[/i][/color]

Kiara chuckled a bit. It was plain as day that Orphian knew nothing of female cycle. The fact that the females are only fertile one time a year. It was then she decided, to have a little "fun" with him. Kiara continued to bat her eyes at him, Nuzzling him.
"And maybe I want another batch of cute little hatchlings inside my nest" She teased. She nuzzled him once more, giving him one good satisfying lick on the cheek. Oh she can see his reaction now.

"You what??!"[/i] Okay, that definitely blew his guard shield to pieces. It was so obvious how startled and embarrassed Orphion is by the way he's trying to even held his head up. The Blue One was just about to ask Kiara for the confirmation of what he just heard, when that one damn good lick attacked him.
"K-Kiara..!"[/i] He outburst, caught by surprise of that sudden affectionate gesture. His large head was pulled back by the shock, but strangely, that isn't the case.
Safe to say, that lick triggered it.
"Well, if that's the case, then maybe I can help you with that."[/i] He countered the Black One's statement. It's like Orphion had changed into a completely different persona when the shock was too much for him to bear. And...this flirtatious side of him seems to be one of his defense mechanism. ...Obviously, Kiara is able to switch it on and off if she wishes to.
Orphion almost immediately closing their distance, though careful not to accidentally squash their eggs there, and nuzzled Kiara, affectionately rubbing the side of his head against her neck, then moved up to the side of her face. "And we may need a babysitter..."[/i] He smirked, now returning that lick of hers with one of his own, though more hard and longingly, wanting her more.
"...But I don't bet on it. Whoever touch the eggs, I'll bite his arm off."[/i][/color]
