With red eyes, Kaekeru entered a dark night club, sticking close to the outskirts of the room as he scanned the people around him. He didn't really enjoy this part of his vampire existence, but it had to be done in order to him to survive still. It had already passed his last record of how long he managed to keep from killing another human for their blood.
He kept one hand covering his mouth, to hide his fangs and hold some bit of control over himself. Finally he spotted his target leaving the building. Some older drunken bastard, it looked. He followed the man outside and tailed behind him a moment until they were out of sight.
As soon as no one could see, Kaekeru sprinted forward and covered the old man's mouth, dragging him into a nearby alley and sucking him dry. It felt great to finally have blood in his system, even though it wasn't nearly as tasty as clean blood would be, it was the best he'd allow. Afterall, what's the point of a human living that's just killing themselves anyway, he figured.
Kaekeru picked up the man's body and dumped it into a nearby dumpster then wiped his mouth off with his sleeve and exited the alley, walking back to the night club with lack of anything better to do.
He waited there for some time for something interesting to happen, his thoughts wandering over to Syani and thinking about surprising her by showing up at her window, but decided against it for tonight, it being a full-moon and such, he might not be able to have full control over himself with her.

"I TOLD YOU! I'm seriously ENJOYING this! Stop thinking that your stupid yells are working!" Sprinting through the dark streets of the night, along with a whole lot of men equipped with pitchforks and torches trailing behind her, is of course Syani. ...A very energized excited Syani, that is.
This is actually her usual route for her 'night exercise', as she calls it. Around the dormitories, then to town, through the restaurants littering the street, then down to this path before she makes a complete U-turn at the back alleys and reverse the paths she had taken back to her dorms.
Usually, her mob would slow down during her U-turn at the back alleys due to the trash cans and dumpsters blocking the narrow path. That's when Syani's agility was put to the test, nimbleness is awesome to train on. Recently, she was wounded by a certain catastrophe at the once standing Green Cab, and because of that, she had promised Tyr to forbid herself to use her telekinesis, thus is the existence of a rough-made telekinesis-sealing necklace dangling wildly around her neck. That made her worried, since she can't use her main magic strength, she was forced to train on physical strength to avoid herself from being captured...or harmed.
Well, her exercise is just going fine as she ran happily towards the night club, a familliar form came to her view, ultimately startling her. Kaekeru is standing in front of the night club. "HO SHY--" Automatically, the half-vampire made a sharp turn towards the alley where Kaekeru just dumped his recent victim, patting her thumping heart both from the exercise and the shock she received with her cast-encrusted hand.
It's been a while since the last time she saw him. If she remembered correctly, it was since the last full moon at the strawberry fields. Why its still so fresh in her mind is because she did something embarassingly stupid there, and because of that, she feels embarrassed if she meets him again.
"Dammit. Dammit, dammit, dammit." She walked back and forth as she tries to cease her breathing, truly forgot the rushing mob as they passed the alley she's hiding in. The mob doesn't even realize they'd lost her, until one of them at the back spotted the female vampire worriedly pacing back and forth in the alleyway.
They cornered her in a flash at the alley, but Syani doesn't seemed to feel threatened at all as she kept walking back and forth, from one side of the wall to the other, slightly biting the firm covering that immobilized her broken hand in anxiety as she did. "Shush, I'm trying to think! Teenage crisis here!" Was all she casually said to the angry mob as they cornered her with their loud hurrahs and chatters.

After a while, Kaekeru picked up some sort of familiar voice and smell coming from outside of the club, followed by a rather harsh sound like a mob. He quietly slipped out of the club to see what was going on in the alley he was just in, standing at the entrance and seeing his beloved Syani surrounded by a mass of angry humans.
"Is there something you want from this woman, humans?" He asked in a rather loud and rude tone, seeking to turn their attention onto him as he grinned wickedly to show the tip of his fangs, his eyes turning blood red under the light of the fullmoon. He slowly stepped towards them menacingly, lifting a hand up towards the mob that now half turned on him as if he were about to shake their hands.
One jabbed a weapon towards Kaekeru, though he swiftly moved around and tore the weapon from his hands and grabbed his neck. He threw the weapon aside and grabbed the man's arm, stilling holding his neck on one side as he bit deeply into the other, quickly sucking enough out of him to knock him unconscious, but leaving enough to keep him alive.
He dropped the now unconscious body, tilting his head back a bit as he took a mocking breath, showing the humans the blood all over his fangs and lips before lifting his arm to wipe the excess blood off with his sleeve. "Leave her alone, she's not going to harm anyone. I'm the one you want to kill." He sneered.
As the mob turned to charge towards Kaekeru, he leapt into the air, jumping over them to land in front of Syani. He lightly smiled at her with an almost cold look still in his face and moved one arm around her waist as he turned around to the humans who realized where he'd gone. "Good night." He said in a dark tone as he jumped up to the roof, carrying Syani in his arms like she weighed nothing and ran across the rooftops to a safer place.
He stopped above the roof of some rather large building and set Syani on her feet, looking at the sky and taking a deep breath before looking at her. "I'm truly sorry I've been absent for a little while, my dear..." He said gently to her as he wrapped him arms around her and held her close, lightly kissing the top of her head and closed his eyes.

One of Syani's first thoughts as she saw Kaekeru behind her mob, is 'TYPICAL damsel in distress situation, why am I always the freakin' damsel?!' Though, she IS curious on how things are going to turn out...and to her surprise, and later shock, it definitely made her gaping.
"Quick, men! He's a vampire too!!" The chief hollered out as soon as he noticed the fangs, ordering his men to take evasive action. One of his men tries to attack Kaekeru, and that made the rest stunned and stayed rooted to the ground when the vampire swiftly evaded the attack and literally...suck the man's neck... "No!! S...s--"
"STOP!" Syani heard her own voice. That not even surprised her, but the whole mob too. She slapped her hands on her mouth, blinking in surprise. Her hands just stayed there as she witnessed with her eyes widening at Kaekeru. It's not that she had forgotten he's a pure vampire, it's just...well, let's just say it gave birth to a whole new fear to her mob, and also to herself, for that matter..
It was her automatic response to step back the moment Kaekeru jumped over the mob towards her. In fact, she shows more fear than relief now that he's near. The half-vampire sort of slightly shrieked when Kaekeru literally swooped her off her feet and ran to who-knows-where...his immense speed made the wind blew against her, forcing Syani to shut her eyes tight until she could finally feel a solid surface to step on.
Her heartbeats only cease down to its normal rate when that familiar embrace attacked her. Well, not attack, more like soothes her. It's been a while, but it definitely is familiar to her. Syani stayed static there, trying hard not to do that mushy-shiver thing at the moment in order not to ruin the mood, and just focus on responding to Kaekeru.
"Nah, that's okay, Kae-kun, no worries. I'm doing just fine..! I got through a lot of things, though. Tyr made me strip off my telekinesis 'cause I blew up this one building, because there's this prince there that tried to strangle me and I injured my hand. But Roy helped me a bit, so it's all good."
There's a pause from her.
"...I'm babbling again, am I?" Sweatdropping, Syani grinned guiltily as she slipped her left able hand under Kaekeru's arm to give him a half-hug, lightly patting his back. "Well, to sum all that up... I missed you, Kae-kun." There is no other logical source of how mushy that sounds other than being honest. ...Really. This is embarrassing.
"How have you been??" She started with a bright smile as she pulls away, now curious on what he's been up to during his absence.

Kaekeru watched her and listened intently as she spoke to him, cursing his absence. Not wanting to respond to her question, Kaekeru placed a hand underneath her chin to tilt her head up lightly as he leaned in and kissed her softly though longingly.
He pulled away after a moment, staring into her eyes. "I've missed you..." He uttered quietly to her, "I should have been around." He gently brushed his hand through her hair, never moving his eyes that he forced back to their normal colour. "You're still so beautiful..." He whispered as he held her close again.

Syani was glad that Kaekeru seemed so intent when she talked...even though it's more of a ramble than a decent speak. She waited for his response with a warm smile, but was caught off-guard when yet again, she was held captive through his lips.
That mushy event raised quite a lot of blood into her cheeks. And Syani was too in-shock to trigger her mind to do anything, but the moment when Kaekeru pulled away, the half-vampire found herself slightly gasping for air through her mouth. She doesn't know how to respond except to stare back at the vampire when he admits that he missed her and he should've been around.
"Kae-kun.." She called under her breath when he enwrapped her again. Really, its strange to her that somebody this admirable could give her this much attention. And she's just one lowly half-vampire...
"Don't think of what you should or shouldn't have done, Kae-kun.. Things happened. All we can do is to accept it. Alright?" She tried to speak cheerfully, smiling and gently patting Kaekeru's back. The shock of the kiss slowly ceased down from her system.
She haven't noticed the full moon yet, but she could feel something is different. Pulling back slightly, Syani gently placed her left able hand on Kaekeru's cheek, staring worriedly at him. "Kae-kun, are you well..?"

When she spoke about accepting that things happen, Kaekeru held her a bit tightly and closed his eyes as he felt her hands against his back how. He inhaled her scent for a moment before she pulled back a bit then opened his eyes again to look at her.
Enjoying the feel of her hand against his cheek, Kaekeru stared longingly into her eyes. He wanted to be with her, but he didn't know when they would come again for him with perhaps even more force next time. "I am fine." He answered after a moment then leaned down to kiss her again. He loved this woman. However, he also knew that there was a force stronger than he that was on its way. Until the last ounce of his strength was worn, he would fight to be with her.

Syani can't help but to wonder if that pause before his answer should be worrying her. She was just about to ask him again if he's sure of that, but then before she even had the chance to, her lips were pressed against his again.
Her heart thumps fast, and with her palm against his face, Syani tries to use that as her advantage to kiss him back, really trying to learn to tone down her fear. That shade of red on her cheeks were now so deep that it's quite visible to see. There's something strange about this kiss, but she can't put her finger on what exactly is it.
After a moment, the half-vampire pulled back, her eyes gazing right at Kaekeru's, with the hand that's touching his cheek slightly shivering. Her limbs are starting on their shut down yet again, but Syani tries to stand tall as long as she can through this.
"..You know you can tell me anything, right? I can always hear you out if you want to talk about something." That worried feeling truly did nudged on her, as she stroke his cheek and traced his lips with a finger, unconsciously perhaps, since her mind had wondered off in concern.

Kaekeru allowed his lips to lift into the smallest smile as he listened to her. He gave a small nod but had no intention of telling her about the oncoming threat, for fear she might try to go after them as well, knowing full-well that she could never succeed against them and he didn't want them to harm her.
He leaned down a bit and held her close then whispered into her ear. "I love you."

Her eyes wavered slightly at the words he whispered to her. Syani expected this, and though this made her worried, she somehow trusted his reasons for hiding it from her...whatever it is.
As her legs were beginning to get numb, Syani didn't even bother to let herself fall like usual, instead she slowly rested her forehead against Kaekeru's chest, eyes darkening of this strange feeling if she were to loose him one day. But yet, her lips curved into a small smile under her shadowed eyes, whispering back to him, "I love you...too..."

Kaekeru held her there a moment longer before bending down a bit and picking her up in his arms again. He looked down at her caringly then darted off, jumping over some different roofs to a more romantic setting. He held her closely and firmly so she wouldn't slip out of his arms as he went.
Karkeru dropped down in a small park area and carried Syani over to a large fountain that was lightled inside the water. He sat down and turned sideways with a leg bent up close to the edge on the water side of the fountain and set her down in front of him, leaving her with the option to use that bent up leg as a back rest.
He sat silently for a minute just looking at her with the glowing fountain behind her, illuminating his face with its light.

Syani let out a quiet sound out of her mouth as she was being picked up, though her eyes are closed. She could feel the wind on her skin when Kaekeru moved somewhere, unsure of where he's bringing her but the way he held her so protectively made her feel...safe, for once in her lifetime.
After a while, he slowed down and the half-vampire was set to sit down with something supporting behind her from falling off. She fluttered her eyes open, trying to look around, and once she sees Kaekeru sitting beside her, Syani curved her lips into a small smile for him.
"You're so...stunningly handsome.. You know that?" She stared at his illuming face by the light from the fountain, wondering if vampires can ever know of how they look like. Syani delievered a smile to him again, now with a more promising aura, then quickly apologized. "I'm very sorry...for being this weak, and burdening you again and again."

Kaekeru smiled slightly in response to her smile. He reached a hand out to lightly touch her cheek as he leaned a bit closer, staring into her eyes. "You're the stunning one to me." He whispered then lightly kissed her.
"You're not a burden to me either." He said, a slight smile forming on his lips again before falling. "If anything, I should be apologizing again for having disappeared on you. It was not by choice." He stopped there as he looked over into the fountain, worrying for a moment if they might come back for him again. He looked back over to her again with a slight smile. "Don't worry. I love you."
