After tossing the strawberry, she didn't expect it went flying back towards her, "Wha--?!"

And it hit her square on her forehead, exactly like what she wanted, only if it happens at Kaekeru. Sweatdropping, the half-vampire just blink on what just happened...

The partially grinning vampire chuckled somewhat at her reaction of it hitting her forehead. "Got you." He said in a rather joking tone, still grinning at her.

Now grinning that her misfitted plan work, Syani pointed her index finger at Kaekeru, "AHA!!!! I just made you CHUCKLE! Looks like I succeed."
When in fact, she's just saying that to avoid feeling embarassed about the strawberry that just hit her head...
".....Ne, Kae-kun. ...What are you gonna do soon? I mean, after a few decades or so, when you grow up?"

Kaekeru watched her for a moment. "Be with you." He said simply, a completely serious and honest look on his face as he watched her still.

BOOM!!!!
That is most probably the biggest explosion she had ever done. Some of the pieces of strawberries and soil got blown around both of the vampires...but Syani took no notice. Her eyes are completely fixed at the vampire in front of her...
"W-what?"
Even her voice can't be heard when she said that, it sounded more like a whisper. She felt her hand growing cold and her face flushing red again...
"But.... why?! You're gonna destroy your future if you want that...! ...I'm half a vampire, and that won't do good to your reputation, Kaekeru..."

Kaekeru grinned somewhat at Syani. "My future had already been rearranged when my whole clan was killed. Being with you wont destroy me. I don't care what any other vampire might think. I'm probably even believed to be dead like the rest of my clan, for all I know." He said, never moving his eyes from hers.

Syani can't seem to find the right words to reply to Kaekeru, she can't even determine if she's feeling happy or sad right now...
"I..... I'm really sorry about your clan, Kaekeru. ......But I won't let your future be rearranged. I can travel into the past...I can look for whoever that killed your family. And that will only happen if I study hard enough on time-travelling. ...That's the best I can do to help you right now..."
The half-vampire then moved nearer towards Kaekeru, then slowly take hold of Kaekeru's gloved hand, gazing straight into his eyes.
"My future is already falling apart. But I'm not gonna let yours be destroyed just yet. Just....don't....EVER...give up, Kaekeru. You can still fix what happened. ....Believe in that. I'll walk with you all the way."

Kaekeru placed a gloved hand on her cheek, staring into her eyes. "What do you mean your future is falling apart?" He asked her a bit quietly, a serious look on his face.

Smiling and closing her eyes in a slanted state, Syani explained cheerfully, "I stepped into my past, and accidentally changed something there, and that costs my future. Simple as that...because I forgot the equivalent exchange rule when I went time-travelling..."
She paused for a while, before continuing rather enthusiastically, "I'm not gonne let you get involved with my messed-up life because...well...simply put, I'm gonna die soon... I'm half a human after all, so I can't escape death. Heh... That's why I'm enjoying every second of the present right now..."
Her smile never fades. In fact, she's just closing her eyes just to avoid Kaekeru seeing the tears there...
"But that's okay. Because I know my future is gone, then it's okay to step in YOUR past to see who killed your parents, because only those who stepped in the flow of time will receive the punishment, and since my future is finished, I have nothing to worry about..."
Her blabbering gives her a great time to store back her tears...which luckily dried up as soon as she finished explaining...

Kaekeru reached around her and pulled her towards him as he moved towards her also, holding her closely. He didn't say a work though there was much he would have said if he could. 'I wont let that happen.....' He thought to himself as she stared at the ground past her.

As Kaekeru moved towards her, reaching around her to hold her closely, Syani didn't move a muscle, nor saying a word. Her eyes completely blank...
And that's when she heard his thoughts...
She never know that she can read minds, maybe Kaekeru sent her that message telepathically. Still staring blankly, Syani thought loud and clear, hoping he could hear her. When in fact, she's actualy sending her thoughts to him rather than letting him read hers...
'Just give me permission to step inside your past. I won't change anything... I'll just take a look on who killed your clan and leave. That's all...'
Leaning on Kaekeru, the half-vampire blinked sadly at the ground, "Think about it. Your future is still bright, so might as well take a chance. I bet there are lots of pretty pureblood vampire girls out there...from other clans, one who has family, future, honor, importance, non-human genes, unsensitive to touch, seductive, immortality, animal-shapeshifting ability, strong physical built, drinks blood, kill people, doesn't afraid of mating, wearing those awesome victorian clothes and...well, need I go on?"
While stating those, her fingers counted all the things and traits she doesn't possess, at the same time sweatdropping on how many it is.
Pausing for a while after blinking so much at the countless number of flaws she has, she states her thoughts clear with a sweatdrop, "...I don't even know why you want to be with me! I have nothing for your high standards~!"

Kaekeru remained silent for a moment before moving his head back a bit to look straight towards Syani, showing a rather gentle yet small smile. "No other pureblood could compare to you. I don't care about any of that." He said gently in an honest tone as he watched her.

Looking in his eyes, Syani can't help but to let her tears rolled down her cheeks... She has no idea what she's feeling right now, but it definately made her smile.
She tried to push him far away from her heart...but he kept coming closer whenever she does that, "I'm....so confused... Why me? I...don't understand...at all..." She keeps her head down while saying that, the explosions stopped.
All her life, she was hated and shunned. It's so normal for her that now when somebody actually likes her, she felt weird. Too weird that she can't understand what's happening...
