[Takato]

"Oh? Afraid you might get hot inside? Or are you afraid you cant handle the heat" He said Smirking at her.

[Kida]

The blush returned to her face as she scowled at him. "Watch it, Kitty. I think you're the one who won't be able to handle yourself."

[Takato]

Takato chuckled at Kida. She had that I'm-so-gonna-kill-you face on. He put his hands up in the air. He really wasn't in the mood for fighting her at the moment.

"Aw, Why so serious?" He chuckled

[Kida]

"Oh....shut up." was what her mouth finally supplied. Kida huffed. "Looks like you passed the first test, Kitty Cat. You're not nervous of the mere presence of the water anymore. Which makes me wonder if you're all anxious when you're near a pond or something." Just because she was bored with having it remain in the same place Kida had the small sphere hover back and forth between her hands. However she kept the speed slow so that Takato wouldn't get freaked by it.

[Takato]

Takato then looked at the sphere that was going in and out between his fingers. Ok so a swirling little sphere was swirling around. Thats not scary. It was the ocean that scared him the most. Though he liked the sounds of the waves. Takato then looked over at Kida.

"Well, would you look at that" Takato said as he starred into Kida's eyes. "You could say something like that"

[Kida]

Kida smiled pleasantly, they're almost-mini-squabble completely forgotten. "I'm glad I could help, Takato." She chuckled to herself. "Takitty. ...But don't think it's over now. You've got quite a bit of water therapy to go."

[Takato]

Takato sweatdropped. He felt a bit uneasy when she said..A bit of water therepy.

"And how much is that exactly?" He asked her afraid of what the answer was.

[Kida]

"I'd like to help you be fine with it--I'm not saying I want to make you an olympic swimmer or anything. Just...to get used to it." On top of him being quite entertaining and really a nice guy, it was hard for Kida to see anybody with any debilitating responses. That and she had to admit that lately she'd started to feel a real connection to the element she manipulated.

"Remaining slow of course. Okay?"

[Takato]

Takato sighed. If he were going to die, might as well do it with a pretty lady right?

"Okay" He said gulping a bit.

[Kida]

She nodded. "Okay." Next to her she ignored the tiny snores of her fire-lizard who had apparently gotten so bored with the whole display that he'd fallen asleep.

"Just from talking to you I'd say it's just a fear and not a full blown phobia, considering you said you shower of course. But it's still connected to your feline instinct on some level. Aside from getting you used to the water, maybe we should figure out why cats hate water." Why cats hate water? Oy. Why was the sky blue? Why was there gravity? Why was Jimmy Hoffa still missing?

"Those will be our main points and if--" At that moment a rather large grass hopper decided to hop to her bended knee. Kida paused, then hurled herself at Takato which effectively got the bug off. "YUCK!" A shudder went through her as she sat up and realized that she was basically in Takato's lap. "Gawd, I hate bugs."

[Takato]

Why do cats hate water? how the hell was he supose to know. He was deep in thought when the next thing he knew Kida was in his lap. huh. What a turn of events, "Don't worry I'll protect you" He smiled at her.

'Note to self, Go to Therapy more often, Girls will jump into your lap' He thought to himself

[Kida]

Kida scowled into his face that was now just a few inches from his. "I don't need protecting, I'm not scared of bugs. I just really, really, really hate them." There was a small but definate difference between the two. She shuddered again. "And I hate when they crawl or jump on you. ....Ugh." Stop thinking about it, that just makes it worse!

"Now if we run into a swam of bugs, then I'll be running terrified." There was only so many one could handle before hate turned to fear.

[Takato]

Takato continued starring into her eyes. As he continued to hold her. "Well then, If we do run into a swarm of bugs, I'll protect you." He said as he flashed her with that oh so innocent smile of his.

[Kida]

Kida was very tempted to make her expression bland and give a sarcastic 'uh huh', but the possibility rolled around in her mind. And she found herself saying. "Yeah...well....should that ever really happen somebody had better." Or she'd be forced to truly run away like a freaking coward.

She started to climb out of his lap, but lost her balance and fell on her back in front of him. Kida huffed a breath. "You must be special. You've seen almost the whole array of emotions and displays I can bring to the table in just one meeting." From freaked, to polite, to truly friendly, helpful, irritated, flirtatious, embarrassed, geeky, and a little clumsy.

[Takato]

"Well, I could say the same for you, Until today besides family, No one has ever known, that i was a fraid of water, though You'd think it would be obvious" he said smirking at her.

It was true, most girls never even stayed past the flirting part. They either started a make out session, or just rolled their eyes and left. There were too many rare occasion where they would be in the middle. And Takato was ok with it.
