After all that, all she could do is scream. Her golden eyes can see almost everything in the dark, especially Roy's attempt on saving her from falling. Hanging with her wrist in Roy's grip, she suddenly remembered that the Steeple Castle is a dark castle resting on a floating piece of land....so if she falls, it might be in a tall height that even she couldn't land softly.
"Roy!!! Listen to me! You have GOT to let me GO!" yelling up at the lad above, the half-vampire sensed that didn't work considering how much he did into saving her, "Please!! If you let go of my hand, I can reach my potion and transport myself, then I'll help you up!!"
Looking down, her eyes can't see the end of this pit except pure vast darkness, "You gotta believe me!! Or we BOTH die! ...Please, I can do it better if somebody believes in me...!!"

The first thing that came out of his mouth was "I have to do WHAT?!" after Syani told him what he has to do. So he hold her even tighter which also increased the pain in his body.
Then he was listening to the rest of what Syani told him. Roy didn`t say anything for a moment. the only thing that was heard was the sound of his sword which stuck in the stone wall.
Then Roy said slowly "I.... I believe in you" He was looking down to her and directly into her eyes. Then he slowly let her hand go and was watching her falling in to the endless darkness....

Hearing those sets of words is enough for Syani to give out that glint again; the mischievous smirk and the determined eyes, yes that's the glint when something always gone the way she wants.
With her red cloak flaring up as Roy lets her go, the half-vampire positioned herself with her head below and her feet above. Basically, it's like a head-dive, so it's easier for her to reach her potions inside her cloak...
"Okay...all I gotta do is to try and remain calm and find that blasted-- AHA!!!"
Instead of pulling out the lid, Syani smashed the vial and the smoke inside that vial escaped, completely covering the half-vampire. In the blink of an eye, Syani found herself right beside the hole she and Roy just fell in.
Peeking inside the darkness, she called, "Roy!! I'm up here...! Can you hold on till I figure out how I can pull you out?!"

"I have no other choice besides hanging on a little longer. I can`t disappoint you now can I ?" Roy said and tried to smile. After he let Syani fall it wasn`t that painful anymore. But still he could feel how his right arm felt weaker every second. And he didn`t dare to grap his sword with both of his hands because he didn`t know how much longer the sword will keep inside of the wall. The only thing he could do was bearing the pain and barely move. "I`ll make it, no worries" he said, but he knew that his voice didn`t make these words sounding true.

"Oh, you and your knightly attitude..." Syani said jokingly, trying to calm Roy and herself, while trying searching vigorously inside her cloak. Just then...
SSSSSSssssss~
Looking up from her cloak, the half-vampire swore she heard some hissing. Gulping, she turned around slowly, "Oh, you have GOT to be kidding me..."
A whole swarm of bright-colored snakes slowly made their way towards the raven-haired, hissing loudly. Standing up from her kneeling position, Syani slowly made her way around the hole, careful not to fall down, "Bright snakes means poisonous snakes..."
She was planning to just explode the snakes, but that won't do good to Roy hanging down there. ...So, she figured out the only way to do it...is to go crazy.
"Ehh... Roy.... I think I need you to catch me...and TRY to get your sword OFF from the wall...so we could fall in the darkness and--" Noticing the snakes started to spring up and tried to bite her, Syani jumped down in the hole, with a transporting potion in hand, "ROOOYYYY!!!!!!"[/color]

Roy couldn`t see what happened out of the hole "Syani?! What`s wrong?" he shouted to her but there didn`t come an answer from her. For a moment there was nothing but silence. He clenched his fist to get more grip on the handle of his sword. And then he received the words of Syani`s plan. "What the- ?!" was everything that he could bring out before he already saw the graceful shape jumping into the hole. He wasn`t thinking, he just swinged his feet against the wall and jumped off with all his strength that remained in his body while holding tight with both hands the handle of his sword. "HAAARH!" with a sharp sound the blade left the stone and Roy turned around so that his head was pointing down. Syani already fell past him, he could barely see in the darkness that was revolving him. He put back the sword at his belt and stretched out his arms were he was thinking the Syani was. And suddenly he felt a warm body "I got you" he said with a relief while embracing her.... and both were falling deeper and deeper...

While falling, Syani just closed her eyes, clutching her transporting potion, hoping her friend would catch her...
All her life, she has to depend on herself. All her life she was on her own. All her life she never asked for help. ...Its at this moment that she just realized she has put so much faith on a stranger she just met...and that made her opened her golden eyes, 'No. I'm not hoping him to save me. I KNOW he will.'
And exactly after she thought of that, she could feel something touched her. Smiling after she heard his voice, the half-vampire replied, "Thank you, Roy..." before uncorking her potion and a cloud of smoke escaped from it, covering the two of them almost instantly and POOFED! Both are gone from the falling pit...
Slowly opening her eyes, she could feel a breeze on her hair, so she sat up from her laying state and looked around. Eyes widening, she realized they're not inside the castle anymore...they're ON TOP of it. Right above the roof...
"Roy?? Roy, where are yo--"
Seeing that brown hair below her, Syani just quickly stood up as she didn't realize she's sitting just on top of him, "OH! Crap, I'm so sorry, Roy!! I didn't see you down there!!"[/color]

It took a while until Roy showed any sign of life. At first his eyes were twitching, then he opened them slowly and he could see vague someone in front of his face. "Syani...?" he asked weak. Then he remembered, the pit, the fall, the smoke. And now they were somewhere else. He didn`t know where because he still couldn`t see things sharp. He tried get up somehow, but a short sense of pain that was flashing through his back forced him to fall back again. "Ugh!... seems like the teleport potion..... didn`t stopped us smashing the ground at all....... we just chose another place to hit" he said with a weak smile and his eyes closed again.

Hearing Roy's statement, Syani bites her lower lip in guilt, "S-sorry!! Truthfully, I'm still new in making this transporting potion, but I can't pull you up from that hole with snakes slithering everywhere! Aw man, I'm truly really sorry!"
Feeling responsible for the pain, Syani suddenly remembered something. Rummaging through her red long cloak, she pull out one very small, but very bright vial. She stared at it for a moment, sighed, then softly touched Roy by the shoulder...
"Um...hey, I... I was saving this potion for a special cause. ...But I guess you need it more than I do."
Without waiting for his reply, she placed her hand behind Roy's neck, carefully lifted him up and pour the bright potion in his mouth. After that, the half-vampire slowly lowered him down and stared at him to see if her potion worked...
She had brewed that special potion just a few nights before, after getting all the rare ingredients together and the difficult use of maintaining a precise atmospheric pressure while making it. Basically, it's really hard for her to just let go of her masterpiece to somebody she just met...but he just saved her...and she's just trying to return the favor.
"It'll heal you inside, all of your bones and organs, every cell of your blood, even. And that will automatically heal you on the outside as well, all the cuts and scars you've gained will dissapear. And since you're a full human, you may probably even feel stronger for a while. ...It's my most advanced liquid remedy I ever concocted."
Syani lifted a smile, "...And I'm glad you're the first to try it."

Roy heard Syani apologizing. He tried to open his eyes to see her. But all he saw was a shape. "No.. don`t feel responsible... please." but his voice was too quiet. He heard Syani speaking about a difficult potion she has made. And that she wanted to give it to him. Roy tried to open his mouth to say something but then he already felt a warm hand at his neck which was lifting his head. And then the potion was already running down his throat.
He felt how the liquid went its way down to the stomache and it caused a comfortable feeling inside of him. It was feeling like a small and shining light that was growing stronger and stronger in his chest, invading every part of his body.
He couldn`t even believe what just happened....
"Is this called.... true friendship?" he thought "All this time I was lonely... searching... hoping... wishing for people who accept me. And now... just out of the sudden... a person gives me something that means a lot to her..... am I worth for that ? I am so thankful..." Roy was still laying on his back while the light was recovering his body. And then a tear escaped from his eye and was running down his face slowly.

Seeing no movement from Roy, Syani released a sad sigh. She felt that strange tingle in her heart again....the same one she felt when she's with Kaekeru. It's odd, she never felt that before, so she didn't even know what it was called...
Placing her hand on her heart, the black-haired half-vampire tried to feel that again. She felt warm....and happy....and important, for once,
Then, she saw a glimmer in Roy's eyes...and to her surprise, a drop of tear escaped from his eye. Gasping, Syani tapped him by the shoulder, "Oh my gosh, Roy, are you okay?! Are you hurt?! ....Aw man, don't tell me I'm hurting you with my potion!"

Just at the moment Syani was calling out for Roy, his eyes lids snapped up. The pain was gone. And the warming light was slowly fading away. He could see the dark sky and the shapes of the dark clouds. Turning his head a bit he could see Syani`s worried face. Roy wasn`t sure what to say. It was an odd situation, because he was absolutly fine. Slowly he lifted up himself and sat next to Syani now. "I`m... okay" he said smiling.
The wind blew around them and Roy could feel that his cheek was wet. He touched it with his hand and realized that it was a tear. "I... I must have got something in my eye" he said embarassed while wiping it away.

Hearing him saying he was fine was enough for Syani to sighed thankfully. Roy sat beside her while wiping away his tear, "I didn't know my potion could affect tear ducts. ...Hmm...maybe I inserted something I didn't know..."
With a finger at her lips, she tried to recall the ingredients she have put inside the potion, "But, ah well. I'm glad you're okay now, Sir Knight." Smiling wide, the half-vampire looked up, "....Man, it's dark up there."

"Yeah, I wonder if it`s going to be a storm. What ever happens it`s better if we get back inside as soon as possible" he suggested.
Roy stood up. It was still hard to believe that he layed on the ground deadly injured a few minutes ago. He reached down a hand to Syani to help her up.

Extending her hand and grab Roy's, she lifted herself up before smiling at him, "Yeah. Problem is, how can we get inside? We're on a ROOF."
She looked down at her feet, before blinking several times, "Which looked like its about to crack."
