"It`s about to crack ? Oh no... not again... lets find a quick way to get inside again. Isn`t there a tower or something where we could just jump into the window or soemthign like that ?" Roy said while looking around.
He was still holding Syani`s hand. "Umm... no matter what happens... I want you to know that I`m truly thankful for saving me, this means a lot to me." he said while looking at her with kind eyes.

With her hand held by Roy, Syani listened to his words, blinking in confusion, "What? Whoa, dude, who said I saved you? I just HEALED you, not save, HEAL, CURE....uh...TREATED...whatever. Anybody could do that!" Syani smiled with a sweatdrop, weirded out by the thought that she actually saved somebody...
Looking around in the dark, she finally saw on what seems to be an old flag dim-colored vigorously blown by the wind. Stretching herself, she could see that there IS a tower with that flag on its peak, just about 10 to 20 feet below the roof they're standing on...
"Okay, tower spotted. ...Oh hey! There's a veranda! Sweet, that'll make an easier spot to land if we jump...!"

Seeing Syani`s confusion Roy smiled and thought:
Okay... I`ll just leave it at that, I don`t think that I want to make you feeling embarassed even more. But I think you know what you just did.
After she spotted the tower Roy stood behind her watching down to it "Jump?... But this are like 15 feet" he said "how are we going to get down there?"

"Easy!" Syani grinned at him, "When you land, just roll to the front, that'll reduce the impact hit. And pretend it doesn't hurt...! That'll help a lot!"
Grabbing on Roy's hand, she jumped off without a moment's thought, her red cloak flared up as the distance between the veranda and them got nearer...

"That`s what I was thinking too, but still-" thats all he could say before he already lost the ground under his feet because Syani dragged him to the edge.
Both where falling down, and as the ground came closer and closer, Roy had to let Syani`s hand go so that he could land.
He did as Syani told him. He landed on his feet and rolled to the front. But the pretending that it didn`t hurt part did Roy completly forget because after he got back up on his feet he was standing right in front of the veranda and he could see the endless darkness. "WOAH!" he shouted and held tight onto the veranda to be sure that he won`t fall down.

"Easy Roy!!" Syani called as Roy almost fell, and then sighed in relief to see that he didn't, "Dude, seriously, stop scaring me like that. I might--"
She stopped mid-way as she heard the sound of flapping...
"BATS!!"
Quick as a flash, the half-vampire leaped on Roy and push his head down as a hoard of bats flew its way out like mad...

"Thank you" he gasped as the last bats disappeared. "That was close" he said and turned around "We should hurry and get back inside. We should be save there." Then his eyes discovered an old wooden door. "Look! There we can get back inside!". He was walking towards it and turned around to look if she followed him. "And sorry for scaring you before. I`ll be more careful from now on. I wouldn`t want you to worry." he smiled and was heading to the door.

Syani smiled wide as she heard Roy's last statement, "...I like that. Thank you, Roy." Nodding at him, the half-vampire approached behind him as he was heading to the door, "I know the formulae is supposed to be the knight protecting the damsel in distress.... but I am NOT some weak maiden if something hurts you, okay?"

Roy opened the door, which made a cracking sound like if it would be the first time for a hundred years that somebody touches it. He couldn`t help himself but smiling when he heard Syani`s last words. "I never said that you are weak, did I ?" he smiled and lifted his right hand to show Syani that he lets her enter the door first.
They entered a dark, old room. It looked like a comfortable bedroom. The equipment was very interesting Roy thought, if everything wouldn`t be covered with spiderwebs. "Nice... I should have visited this place some hundred years before" he said joking

"Duuudee..." Syani stepped inside the room carefully, not wanting to fall off from the floor again, "Well, you never said I'm weak, but when standing beside a dude, I can't help it but to feel I am."
Nodding at her own statement, she slowly walked around the comfortable room, "Who do you think this room belongs to? ...A princess??"

"Hmmm.." Roy was watching her while she walks past him "Maybe you just shouldn`t feel weak?" he suggested and followed her. "Because you aren`t." he made clear.
Walking around in the room like Syani does he answers "Hmmm, now that you are saying it. It could be possible, because its a very pretty room". Then he had to sneeze because of all the dust in the air "Or lets say it was" he added while rubbing his nose.

Syani turned to him with a grin, "Dude, seriously, you're behaving like Kaekeru now."
Walking towards a very large and dusty mirror there hanging on the wall, Syani wiped it with her hand, only to see nothing there, "Aii....seeing no reflection stinks," and just after she said that, a horrifying face of a screaming woman appeared there, automatically making the half-vampire screamed in shock and backs away quickly, slamming her back against the wall...
The face of that screaming woman dissapeared now as a very heavy mist escaped from that mirror and flew right through the door. Syani pats her heart, staring wide at the door, "What the heck was THAT?!"

Hearing Syanis statement hit him like a punch in the face, but he couldn`t actually say why. "I...do?" he asked slowly.
He was watching her walking over to the mirror while he was still thinking about wha she just said about Kaekeru. He couldn`t look inside of the mirror he just saw Syani backing away all of the sudden with a scream. Not realizing what had happened he rushed over to her "Are you alright?!" he asked worried. Just now he notices something flying out of the mirror and leaving the room through the door. "Was that... a ghost?" he said staring at the door "This reveals a whole new situtation..." He wanted to check something in the room but first his thoughts were about Syani "Are you okay?" he asked again while putting a hand on her shoulder to calm her down.

"Whoa... Okay, if I wasn't wearing this anti-explosion choker, this whole room would blow up when I had that shock... Huh, okay, okay, I'm fine now..." Nodding at Roy, Syani rushed her way towards the door where the ghost just escaped to.
"Dammit, nobody shock me THAT much and gets away with it," placing a hand at the door's handle...

"Hey wait a second!!" he shouted while running after her. "Do you see the lock at that door ?" he said while pointing at it. "If this door is locked you wouldn`t have a chance to open it from the inside, and look at that little opening at the bottom of the door" He turned around and was watching the room again. "So my first thoughts about the ghost were true...... and this room even when it looks so beautiful gets a whole new meaning.... it was a prison." he stated with a voice that reveals that he wasn`t feeling comfortable with that thought.
