Eralk was still busy with his foot as he suddenly was smashed against the wall. "Ack" His cheek was pressed against the black wall and he felt a tight grip at his shoulder armor. Not aware of the danger he was in he just replied "Lady, you should be careful.... I just poured a potion of sacred water over my armor before entering that room."
Roy was still thinking of a way how to get out. Now more than ever since Syani was walking now towards this new guy who appeared. But suddenly he just fell downwards, wasn`t prepared for it at all and painful hit the ground. "Oww!" But he had no time to complain and jumped back on his feet grabbed the sword, pulled it out and turned towards the other two who were standing at the wall now.

"What?!" Hearing Eralk's seemingly innocent sentence, Syani doesn't believe him at first. But the burning sensation at her palms are proving otherwise. "AAAHHH!!" She releases the boy while shaking her hands to shake off the pain.
"Wha-- Who ARE you?!" she demanded when she looked at her burnt hands.

Roy was suprised how easily that boy could free himself. He didn`t understand at all what happened there, but he thought it would be better to stay calm and just watch what happens next without letting his guard down.
Eralk turned around. He had a bright grin on his face. "Got you" he said and was obviously happy that at least this time his trick worked as planned. "My name is..." he made a small pause to add a dramatic effect "..Eralk Wynham! And I`m a vampire-slayer my dear." He bowed without taking his eyes off Syani. He also noticed that the boy behind her was back on his feet again but he decided to just wait for the effect of his words.

Syani steps back in shock as she heard his title, her arms in a defensive stance as she did. Then, she remembered Roy, who apparantly is standing behind her, so she hops to the side and faces both boys with an uncertain glare.
"You.... You can't seal me! You can't seal me back!!" She yelled, scanning the whole place to escape. "I'm free now, DON'T SEAL ME BACK!!" She screamed as she aimed her each of her burnt hands towards the men, "Stay BACK!!" She yelled like a mad woman before unleashing that invisible force again to push the boys to the wall.

Roy stood there in a defence state taking good care of Syanis movements so that she can`t escape. But at the same time he had to epp an eye on that mysterious boy.
Eralk got a twisted grin on his face now "Well.... who said anything about sealing?" he replied with a calm voice and then slowly reached for his sword at his lower back and grabbed tightly the handle of it. "Ever heard about a vampire slayer who SEALS his prey?"
As Roy understood what he meant he replied in a reflex "No WAY! You don`t even know whats going on her-" But before he could finish his sentence he was already ripped off his boots and hit the wall again. "Ack!"
Eralk reacted quickly and grabbed a silver carved crucifix from his belt and threw it into Syanis direction before he hit the wall. The crucifix slided on the ground and stopped right before Syanis feet. Eralk did that disturb her vampire telekinesis power so that he won`t end up pinned to the wall like the other boy experienced it.

"You can't kill me!!" Syani screamed, quickly backing away from the crucifix and ran off to the veranda where Roy and Syani first entered. She held the safety rail, looking down at the dark abyss. Her black hair danced with the wind as she twists around to face the vampire slayer.
"You...You can't kill me..." She whispered, "If you kill this body, then I'm dead entirely..." She tried to rummage through Syani's cloak, now finding some vials. She took a glowing purple one in her grip, and tried to get Eralk out of her path by faking she would throw the potion to him.
"Don't come any closer!!"

Eralk hit the wall but wasn`t pinned to it like he planned. So he immediatly charged at Syani and drew his sword "Yaaa-"
But before Eralk could get any closer Roy already tackled him aside "Stop it!"
"Wha-? Dude I just saved you back then! What are you doing?!"
While Roy and Eralk were laying on the ground Syani used the chance and ran outside to the veranda "You have no idea! You can`t kill her, because-"
Eralk pushed Roy to the ground and stood up quickly "Don`t tell me what I have to do!" he yelled, turned around and followed Syani.
Holding his head Roy witnessed how Eralk moved towards the door now but stopped in front of hit. 'Damn, I have no time for explanations... what should I do?!' Seeing that Eralk wasn`t moving because Syani was holding one of her potions in her hand and waved frantically with it brought him an idea. 'I can`t let Syani escape now, otherwise she would maybe never become her true self again.... and judging from what I`ve seen this vampire spirit has no clue about Syanis real body... so she definatly has no clue what kind of potion she holds in her hand now. At least its a slight chance for me...'
Roy stood up quickly not taking his sword because it would slow him down. He dashed past Eralk, drew his dagger and ran outside towards Syani....

Syani is no doubt frightened to death when she realized she's cornered, and a vampire slayer right in front of her. She was just about to smash the potion, when all of the sudden, Roy dashed passed the boy, and ran towards her...
Syani stood still in a stance, contemplating to jump off the veranda or get herself stabbed with the dagger Roy's handling. Well, whatever she chose to do, she can't. Her feet are chained to the ground as she shut her eyes close, preparing for what's about to happen.

Eralk couldn`t stop Roy from charging at Syani because he was totally suprised "HEY! I almost had her!" he yelled and bit his lip unsure about what to do now since there was an innocent person next to the vampire which makes it impossible for him to cast a spell.
Roy noticed that Syani wasn`t moving at all. Maybe she was in panic. He was happy for the fact that she didn`t go crazy after his insane idea to just charge at her without any plan. "Soon its going to be over..." he whisperd and put his dagger away.
After that he planned to catch her so that she can`t escape and maybe he can get that Eralk guy to help him somehow. But just as he reached with his arms for Syani he twitched as his chest burned once again causing him to trip and crash into Syani and he ended up laying with her on the ground hugging.
Eralk stood in the door to the veranda and watched the scene with a blank face "What is he...doing there.. ?"

Syani gasped a soon as Roy touched her, shocked in what's happening. Before she knew it, her body started shiverring vigorously, highly because of her fear of touch. "Wh?? NO! No, no, no!!" She screamed, the emptiness in her eyes started to get replaced by that original spark Syani usually bears. Blood begins to travel to her face as her complexion turned crimson in discomfiture.
"Wh...What are you DOING?? Get OFF OF ME!!" Derived by her phobia of mushiness, the real Syani -based on her non-shrilly voice- pushed Roy off of her, breathing hard to get this uneasy feeling out of her system, totally having no idea on another being that overshadowed her just moments ago. It's only now that she noticed Roy's bleeding badly, and gasped in distress.
"ROY!!! What happened??? Oh crap, are you okay?! Can you breath?! Who did this to you?!!" Then she realized there's a third person standing there. "YOU!!" She stood up, angry, and glared at Eralk. "What did YOU DO to my FRIEND?!!"
She stomped in front of him, glaring furiously. The half-vampire wanted to smack this boy on the face, but knowing her hand would most likely feel more pain than the smack itself, she raised up her knee and stomped on Eralk's foot, hard.

Roy gasped in pain as he was roughly pushed aside by Syani. But after the first shock a smile was appearing on his face which must have looked pretty weird since his hands were clawed in his blood drenched shirt now. But he couldn`t help it after he heard Syani speaking with her normal voice again. He was confronted with a lot of question but all he could do was replying with a weak "Finally..." while he layed on the ground slightly moving.
Eralk couldn`t believe what he had just seen. This guy was literally HUGGING a vampire and from one second to another she acted like a totally diffrent person and seems to be totally clueless. As he was screamed at he tried to defend himself in his confusion "Me ? What are you saying? Don`t you.. I mean.. You were the one who did that to him!! Don`t blame me for it!!" Now that person came right towards him and he made a step backwards. This person was obviously no vampire anymore. Her claws and teeth disappeared, so there was basicly no reason to fight. Eralk didn`t know what to do. He can`t hurt an innocnet person. At least Eralk thought that she was innocent.
The thoughts that were rushing through his mind got disturbed as that furious girl stomped at his food. "AAH!" he shrieked since it was the same foot that hit the wall earlier. His sword fell on the ground as he was hopping on his other foot once again. "You! Why are you- ?! Snap out of it already and become a vampire again so that I can finish my job! Damn, what the hell are you?!"

"Eh?" Syani blinked, her anger drained down in the blink of an eye when she heard Eralk's last statement. "Become...a vampire again...?" She repeated slowly as she looked back at Roy, then to Eralk, then to the whole burnt room. Realization dawned on her very slowly as she closed her mouth with her hands, but pulled it away when she felt it's wet with blood...
Slowly, she turned to Roy, staring a his bloodied skin, then to her hands. "Oh my lord...." She whispered, then quickly kneeled beside him and took out every available healing potion she has and set it beside her. While she's busy uncorking her potions, her tongue went to its full speed again, "Oh, jeez, Roy, I don't know where to start my apology!! Dammit, I'm so sorry!!! I AM SO SORRY!!! For everything!! I didn't....it's beyond my control! I mean, last time it happened was when I was 12 and--"
She started blabbing, but paused when she sees a faint glow from the gash in Roy's body. Her eyes widened as she remembered the potion she gave Roy earlier at the roof when she fell on him. "...It's... Oh crap, my potion works....even now... Holy crud..."
Syani can't believe what's happening. That tiny glowing potion she worked so much in...even take effect after hours....or possibly even forever. "Roy......I think I made you almost immortal-ish..." She sweatdropped, witnessing that gash she made very slowly cured itself. Slowly, but its curing him.
"Hey, you!" She turned back to face Eralk, who's busy hopping on one foot, and gestured him to come änd see. "Come on, look at this! I need a witness!" Her smile is wide as she twists back to Roy.

Roy didn`t notice most of his surrounding anymore since the pain already made him feel dizzy and everything he could see was some blurry stuff. But he could definatly hear Syani after a while again. He assumed that she was apologizing after she recognized what had happened. He tried to say something, but couldn`t get anything out of his mouth.
Eralk was still busy with his foot 'ACK! That girl seriously has some stoned feet. SERIOUSLY!..... But still.... what the hell is she? I mean... she was a vampire earlier... but now ?'
But then from one second to another he suddenly felt something at his wound. A warm feeling that recoverd his pain bit by bit. He knew that feeling. It was caused by Syani special healing potion. 'Is it... still working.. ?' was the first thing he could think straight. And know also his view started to normalize and he could see a pretty excited Syani right above him. "Hey" he said confused as he almost felt fully recovered again.
Hearing the girls offer Eralk immediatly jumped on two feet again. "Ahhh, sorry! Have some things to do!" Then he turned around and ran into the castle again. But before totally vanishing he turned around again and said "I`ll get you, vampire!" left a twisted grin and finally turned around to leave.

Syani sighed in relief at Roy's reply, and answer the same "Hey..." to him. "How are you feeling?" She asked with a smile, but got distracted right away when Eralk ran off...and sweatdropped when he yelled the exact same quote her fan-mob usually spat her when she escaped.
"Wow...he can join my angry mob fan. Sweet..." She muttered to herself before turning to her attention to Roy. "Anyway...is it....is it working?" Syani moved a few strands of hair away from his eyes, biting her lower lip in concern. "If it stings you, just let me know, I can numb it...and just...fix whatever I've done to you..."
That sentence alone sent chills down her spine. Her head hanged down, staring at her hands that was placed on her lap...filled with blood. His blood. "I... Roy, I think I should avoid you from now on."

Roy sat up slowly and replied "I.. think.." too confused to pay attention to the escaping vampire slayer. He put his hand on his chest where the wound has been seconds ago. "Wow... thats incredible.." he said while staring at his chest but looked up in Syanis face as he felt her hand at his cheek.
"No.. I.. I think I`m alright, thanks to your special potion...thank you" he replied slowly while trying to sort his thoughts. 'How close have I been to death.....?' he wondered, but not speaking his question out loud since he thought that Syani already was MORE than worried.
He came to that conclusion since she was staring on her bloody hands right now and not moving at all. Roy wanted to say something to cheer her up, but it was hard for him to think of something that would help since even he can`t changed what happened. He raised his hand and was reaching for her shoulder but dropped it immediatly as she spoke all of the sudden. And what she said made Roys stomache twist.
"I..Syani, listen. I know you feel guilty, but...but this can`t be a solution at all!" he stuttered unsure.Then he reached for her shoulder and shook her gently to make her look at him. "Get a hold of yourself.... and tell me... that this is not what you really wanna do..."
