Syani kept her head down as she listened to Roy, her hands tightly holding each other in an attempt of registering some senses in her cold receptors. She didn't say anything though, merely hanging her head down and holding her hands tightly on her lap.
Its only until Roy shook her that she look up at him, revealing a bit of moisture in her eyes. Syani smiled a bit and shook her head, finding it embarassing to cry in front of somebody, the shut her eyes close. "Heheh... Well, apparently, what I really want to do is to get you safely out of death's way, dude." She grinned at him, then stood up.
"You're alright now, right?"

Roy was suprised and his eyes widen a bit as he noticed that Syani was close to tears as she roze her head. He didn`t know what to say.
"But.." he started slowly "..do you think things would get better if you just run away from me and everyone else that care about you ? Would you be happy with that?"
Roy looked up as she stood up and asked him if he was alright. He just wanted to say yes to make her feel better. But somehow Roy had the feeling that if he would say this now then Syani would have no reason to stay at all anymore if she really wants to leave. So Roy bit his lips thinking and didn`t say anything..

"Hahah...Roy...come on." Syani placed her hands on her hips for a bit, then squatted down next to Roy, smiling still. "It's not about how happy I am, it never was. I just want everyone I care about to be safe, that's all that matters to me."
She put a hand on his shoulder, beaming that smile of hers again, and pats him comfortingly. "Plus, lets just rely on fate. If we happened to stumble on each other later...then fate really loves us!" The half-vampire laughed before standing up and backs away.
"I'm...sorry for everything I caused...if there's anything I can get back to you about that, just let me know."

Roy shook his head and tried not to sound angry "You-... In your way of caring about your friends you seem to forget that THEY also care about YOU! Is that too hard to understand?" He stopped as suddenly as he started to speak these words, frightened of how aggressive he has reacted. Then he continued with a softer voice "...so it surely is about how happy you are..."
Noticing how Syani slowly backs away he stood up , with his back turned to her, not looking in her direction. He wasn`t sure if he should believe in fate or not. He only knew one thing: He won`t let her leave. If thats his fate then how could he act diffrent from that?
"You know" he said slowly looking at the ground beyond him. "The answer to you question is so easy...." Roy made a pause but wasn`t moving at all "... stay here.. with me."

Syani hunched up her shoulders in shock of what Roy just outbursts, closing her eyes tight of both his sudden increased tone and the fact of what he said. Part of herself is wondering actually on why this stranger had impacted her so much...and she just met him.
The half-vampire backs away, grateful he's turning her back onto her, so its easier for her to slip off. But then...Roy's surprising answer chained her to the ground. She's not supposed to get too attached to others, in fear of accidentally stealing their lives out of her control...but she just went chaos mode to this guy just now, and he asks her to stay??
"Huh...?" Too many aspects of what he just answered confused her. What? How? Why? ...Is this even him talking? Maybe he got posessed?? She almost KILLED him, there's no reason for her to stick around more. But, she already offered how she can get back to him, and he wants her to stay...so as to not to make things complicated, she sighed, but obeyed his wish. Forget her confusion, Roy seems really serious about this.
"You know you can die if I stay right? Are you going to take that chance?"

Roy was glad that Syani still sticks to the conversation instead of just leaving. "You know.." he started "I went through many stuff on my journeys. And more and more I find myself wondering if dying is as horrible as being alone."
Now he turns around and faces Syani "I`ve been alone for such a long time.. and from the moment we`ve met in the entrance, something was special about it. And I don`t want to lose it, even if it means that you could run beserc again." He spoke calm and clear, but it was obvious that he tried hard to hide his emotions. But then after he finished he finally wanted to shake that melancholic cloud off that seems to float around them and put a smile on his face walking towards Syani.
"Well well, theres still a lot to explore around here! Even if it could get a bit cold.." he said joking while touching his ripped shirt.

And Syani thought asking questions would clear some things up in her head. Turns out it makes her more confused. But...at least she can detect things in people's eyes, the glint that could intrigue her so much she would want to try and understand.
Roy's first statement truly chained her feet to the floor. 'If dying is as horrible as being alone...'[/b] That really echoed in her head for the longest time. She swore she heard that saying before...or maybe a part of it...somewhere. While trying hard to recall, the half-vampire didn't even noticed Roy's turning around to face her until he spoke.
Syani lift her eyes from staring at the floor, straight to Roy's, then tilts her head a bit, her eyes squinting at his words. She can't say she understand much what he means, but if somebody would want her to stay even AFTER her other self attacks...well, simply said, that gesture moved her. Deeply.
"Roy, really, I--" Her mouth hanged opened as she tried to find the words she needed to say, all the time till Roy walks up to her. "...Dammit. I don't even know what to say to that... Just... Thank you..." She scratched behind her head, returning Roy's smile with that goofy grin of hers, and brightens up when Roy mentioned about the continuation of their exploration.
"Are you serious?!" Syani's voice sounded like she's scolding him, though the expression on her face points out that she's absolutely thrilled by the idea. Her gaze fell upon Roy's ripped shirt, averted her eyes from it to step back, then raise her hands at about her chin's height. "Observe the awesome power of my magical awesomeness." She said jokingly.
"Eurhythmy...roué bu-shell~!~" Accompanied that chant is a series of hand gestures, a few swift movement with her fingers, all the time when Roy's shirt seemed to be stitching itself together with a new fabric of cloth that appeared from nowhere, then ended when Syani steps back, dropping her arms by her side and smiled at him. "First rule! Physics doesn't apply.....mostly."[/color][/font]

"Of course!!" Roy replied laughing "I can see it in your eyes that you totally love the idea, so lets go!" Then he raised his arm showing her the way back in to the castle again.
But then she started with her magic. Roy watched his shirt repairing itself with a grin. "Wow.. your magic is so cool!" Roy stated as he tried not to sound like a hopeless fanboy.
Now both of them finally continued their journey. Everything that reminded them of the incident that happened was the burned room the needed to pass. At the top of the stairs Roy stopped though. "Hey, do you know where I put the light you made last time ? We can`t go on without it or we will both fall into the hole THIS time..." Roy asked Syani while scratching his head.

"Bwahahahahaha~" Syani laughed at Roy's compliment, trying to sound like an egoistical witch...like most witches are. "How's my evil laugh? Currently working on that." Arching her brows, the half-vampire grinned as she followed Roy to the top of the spiral stairs.
"The light...? ...Oh! Oh yeah!! Hmm...I forgot...but I can make a new one, no worries." The dark-haired rummages through her cloak, then pulls out yet another vial. After that, she started to look around, glancing here and there. "Just need a sort of...thing...to hold the light. Something hollow...or with a depressive space, so its easier to direct the light. ...Or would you rather have your hand glowing instead?"

Roy raised his eyebrows "Eh.." he started unsure but then grinned "If you wanna sound like some old hag your pretty close indeed"
"I guess having a glowing hand would be cool" Roy assumed "Do you wanna go ahead this time? I think catching you before you fell into that hole would be easier than if you had to hold me" Roy said laughing anf thought about last time they went down there.

"Woot!! Yeah for old hag~!" Syani cheered, shaking her fists in the air, sounding pretty happy about that statement.
"Okay! Glowing hand coming up~" Uncorking the vial, Syani dripped a few of the liquid to her own hand, then gestured for Roy to hold up his hand while hearing his idea for her to go first. "Oh yeah, sure! No problem. I have light glowing out of my hand now, no worries." Right after she said that, her left hand that had just been exposed to the liquid in the vial earlier, started glowing brightly.
It's so bright, Syani had to put her hand behind her so she won't get blinded when she's dripping the potion on Roy's hand. Her expression suddenly dropped down as her eyes seemed downcasted. "...Uhm....anyway... What exactly...happened back there...?"

Roy eyed his hand blinking with his eyes because the light blinded him a bit. "I really could get used to that" he said smiling. And then he covered the plam of his hand with his other one to protect his eyes and lead the lightbeams to the front. "This is getting warm too!" Roy said grinning thinking about what stuff you could do with such a potion.
Then he got distracted by Syani`s question. At first he wanted to say something like 'Earlier ? You mean when I knocked you unconscious on the stairs?' in order not to talk about her outburst. But that would be of no use anyway he just noticed, because Syani has absolutly no memories since she fell on the stairs. Roy carried her upwards and then she got posessed by that spirit. After that her vampire senses were ticking in......
"I..... You mean.... upstairs ?" he started slowly. Roy wasn`t sure how or even where he should start since so much happened. And he was sure about one thing. No matter what he tells her, she will feel so terrible guilty...

"Y-you don't have to tell me if you don't want to, sorry." Syani turns her back to him and started walking down the stairs, outstretching her glowing hand to the front to guide her through the darkness of this staircase.
Her expression totally contradicts her earlier cheerful look, one of the reasons why she's facing her back to Roy frankly. "I...I mean...did I...bit you, by any chance?" This worries her immensely. She didn't have a good look of Roy before at his neck since it's kind of dark back there.
When she's advancing down the flight of stairs, Syani saw a black thing scurried past her feet at the corner of her eyes. That instantly made her screamed, backing away to Roy as her voice echoes within the staircase. She's partly leaning her back on him too as she scanned her eyes around, swishing her glowing hand where she just saw that thing. "Oh...oh, sorry... Just a rat. Wow, that scared me..."
Patting her heart with a relieving sigh, she got off of Roy and stood straight again, scratching a hand at the back of her neck. "Hahah...sorry." Syani's partially grateful to that rat, truthfully, since it sort of relieves the tension between the two teenagers. "Right. Okay. Onward to the front!" Trying to gain some of her spirit back, the half-vampire continues marching down the stairs.

"Its not the fact that I don`t want to tell it to you... its just... I am not sure if you can take it.. you know?" Roy slowly started unsure with his explanation as he followed Syani down the stairs. Then he heard Syanis nervous voice about the biting part. Roy just wanted to reply fastly to bring her relief but he could`t because Syani let out a small scream as she pressed herself backwards to Roy. Confused on what was happening he just got a hold of her shoulders to prevent her falling in to him.
Soon Roy understood what happened but he didn`t pay much attention to the rat anyway. He just felt the warmth of Syanis shoulders as his hands rested there. He was simply enjoying it, just because last time he had a hold of her shoulders he had to be prepared to get ripped into pieces in the next second. He just didn`t want to destroy the mutual confidence again which was slowly recovering.
So as Syani made a step forward again to apologize Roy simply smiled at her. "See? I can still prevent you from falling backwards without being afraid of getting biten by you. Nothing serious happened up there.. well, somehow it was serious, but still not THAT serious.. you know, hehe" Roy wasn`t sure if his words calmed her down or caused just the opposit. So he quickly pushed her gently forward "Well, the hole must by just ahead, keep your eyes open." Roy said as the edge of a dark pit was slowly visiable in the lightbeams of their hands.

Syani bit her lower lip as she traveled down the stairs, Roy's answer makes her more worried than ever, but she can't force it out of him just for the sake of satisfying her curiousity, so all she can do now is to calm down and ask him another day...or maybe she can search for that other guy earlier and ask him!
'Yeah!! If I ask him, it's a win-win case for me!'
Just after she thought of that plan, her glowing hand revealed the large hole Roy was just saying about. She looked ahead and she could see a glimpse of the huge door before...only that it's been opened. "Must be that guy with the white hair run off through. Only that..." The dark-haired turned to look down at the hole, blinking incredulously at it.
"How on earth did he managed to jump over this THING??"
